Due to the chicken being chopped up it fell out of the bun frequently, which got messy. I think a whole breast would work better & I wish the onions were red instead of white, or sautéed before put on the sandwich. Surprised how busy this location was for a Saturday afternoon , all the tables were full and there weee 6 people waiting for carry out so that makes me think something good is here . Staff was very nice and helpful and service was certainly prompt. They offer pizza, some pastas, salads, sandwiches and some appetizers. They have daily specials and kids menu too. The salad was fresh and loaded with crisp lettuce tomato's and cheese with your choice of dressing. I had the 10 inch daily special which is 1 topping for $5.99 and it was really good, thin crust a nice sauce with plenty of sausage and cheese . Say yes to the Chicago steak sub or pizza, no to the meatball sub. The Chicago is so good and garlicky! It was my go-to years ago and it will remain. The meatball sub was the sliced meatballs they use on pizza, and the onions and peppers, which were not cooked and lead me to pick them off. So the whole sandwich was kind of lukewarm, soggy mess. I highly recommend this location for a family dinner nights. This place is such a family oriented restaurant. And they have great science throughout that really make you laugh. You have a small party room with a TV inside. I would say the party room is no more than six people so that you have ample space. Another day out and about and stopped into Bellacino's Pizza and Grinders. Located in a shopping center next to Bass Pro Shop. Several friends recommended we try them, so we did. They have a full service bar and seating as well as booth/table seating. It must be the lunch rush when we visited (3pm) and a lot of tables were not serviced or wiped down. We tried the Buffalo wings which which were evenly sauces but we're not fried, they were oven-baked. Little disappointed but we came for the pizza. Also tried the Greek salad and was pretty good. Lastly the Bellacino's Pride their version of a combination pizza. St. Louis style pizza is not traditionally sliced, it cut into squares. Still getting used to this but I do recommend the pizza, very delicious but the middle of the pizza was a little soggy and could've used a little more time in the oven. Bellacino's has a extensive sandwich menu and from the looks of everyone ordering we need to visit and try them out. Overall good visit and will be back. We've always liked Bellacino's pizza to the point we have bragged how good it is. Unfortunately, the day after Christmas we ordered $100+ of pizza and cheesy bread to be delivered for family. The pizza took 30 minutes from the time it was picked up to be delivered and then all of it was cold and over cooked. I can only assume that since we ordered 2 hours in advance that they made the pizza and bread and just left it in the warmer for the whole time. Quite embarrassing and disappointing. read more

Service was absolutely horrible. Bellacino's has been one of my favorites since I was a kid but tonight was horrible. They close at 9 and I stopped in at 8 and ordered right at 8, dinner for two (1 pizza and 1 grinder). The kid that checked us out was very nice and friendly and told us it would be about 15-20 minutes, no problem that is about normal. 35 minutes go by and we're the only ones in there. The other worker started cleaning the tables, changing the trash and turning tvs off and kept staring at us like we weren't supposed to be in there. Nobody ever came by to tell us something was wrong with our order. Again we were the only customers. Just very disappointing. The food was still good after we had to take it to go since they ended up taking 45 minutes and it was obvious from the other guy working that we weren't welcome. When we got our food, the kid that checked us out handed it to us and apologized when it clearly wasn't his fault and was taking the fall for it. Embarrassing. read more

Every sandwich here is amazing!!! My favorite is their Italian but I haven't had anything off their menu that isn't good. Highly recommend dining in so you can get your food hot and fresh! I've been ordering the Italian grinder, no mayonnaise, plus pizza sauce on the side, for about 20 years now. I understand inflation, I understand that things cost more today. But literally the last three sandwiches I bought there had half of the toppings than usual. I refuse to pay top dollar for a sandwich that now has half of the contents inside. Great lunch specials. Choice of 10" personal thin pizza or pasta. Other option was a grinder. Both had a St. Louis style salad. (Ice iceberg, tomatoes and provel style cheese with Italian dressing). Pepperoni was spicy and covered the pizza. Crispy thin crust but not paper thin. I think the crust had a bit of cornmeal in it. Endless soft drinks are self serve. While waiting for the food, it was difficult for my child to walk around and talk to the customers in the store, but they were still very happy to answer and talk to my child. There was no noise in the store. but your staff treated us very badly while we were eating but they still came to our table and chased us out of the shop telling me to take my child out of the shop because he was making noise but I did asked the surrounding customers when he came to talk to them, they said nothing. My child is very cute but your staff kept coming and telling me to take my child out of the store while we were still eating. The food is sour. That's a very mean way for you to treat a customer and a three year old child. I've been to all the restaurants and they never treat a three year old child the same way. Your staff, your staff, the guests are still happy to talk to him, they even praise him a lot but your staff still chases us away while we are still eating. That's the next way.
