Dewey's is just fantastic. Totally worth the hour wait on a Saturday night. Okay, so let's get right to it: to start I had the side harvest salad. And oh my goodness... That salad was freaking amazing!! It is like mixed greens, this apple cider creamy vinaigrette, figs, bacon, pumpkin seeds, and Boursin. Seriously the most amazing combo. I think I'm going to try to recreate this salad at home because I'm already craving it the next day. On my favorite salads list... This is either 1, or 2. Honestly, I wish I would've gotten that as my meal. So when it comes to pizza.... My friend and I split the Ryan's inferno, and the Edgar Allen Poe. I thought for sure when going into it Ryan's inferno would be my #1... But I enjoyed the Edgar Allan Poe more. Ryan's inferno has all the components of eating some buffalo wings... Obviously, buffalo chicken, ranch, Gorgonzola, mozzarella for good measure, and then some crunchy celery on top. It totally was good, not going to lie, but it was a little underwhelming for me. The Edgar Allen Poe just really held its own against the Ryan's inferno. The EAP had garlic, olive oil, mushrooms, olives, tomatoes, goat cheese, and maybe something else I can't remember... Anyways, something about mushrooms and goat cheese together on a pizza just gets me. So delicious. Dewey's really knows how to make quality pizza crust!! So why the 4 stars you ask? I was absolutely blown away by my salad, but not my pizza. It's good, I totally enjoyed it, but I have yet to find a piece that outshines that seasonal salad. I absolutely will be back though. And I will search far and wide for the pizza from Dewey's that makes me melt, and weak in the knees. read more

Sooo delicious! I came here for my birthday with my mom and sister. We got 2 huge pizzas and each got salads. The pizzas were wonderful, I love their crust and sauce! I was not a fan of the fig pizza. There is something about the cheese on it that just does not go for me. However, my sister was crazy about it! So, that is just a matter of personal taste. 2 of us got the harvest salad. I got mine with a substitute of chicken instead of the cheese and bacon. Which was an excellent option, as I don't eat bacon, and didn't end up liking that cheese. I thought it was so nice of them to sub in the chicken. We did dine in, and I will say, I am one of those people that doesn't think the mask does anything. That being said, I absolutely respect others, and have no problem wearing a mask if it makes others at ease. This restaurant asks that patrons wear masks, and the staff wears masks and gloves and cleans regularly. Waiters/waitresses were spectacular and attentive. I did not wish for them to sing me happy birthday or anything, but they did let us bring in our own cake and even offered to keep it chilled for us. Outstandingly kind! They did wish me a happy birthday as we were leaving and made us feel more than welcome! I am greatly happy and more than satisfied with making this the choice for my birthday dinner! Delicious pizza served at Dewey's with many gourmet options. They also have several craft beer choices, but not an extensive amount. We split a 13" pizza, and that was a perfect size for the 2 of us. We got half Green Lantern and Half Ryan's Inferno. The blue cheese is real strong on the inferno, but the buffalo sauce is not too spicy. We also shared a house side salad. It was raining outside, and the wait was crazy long, so it was crowded indoors. It was a Saturday night, so that was to be expected. After being incredibly disappointed that they were not open for lunch Sunday, we decided to to back for dinner. Our 20-30 minute wait was only about 10. I enjoyed a glass of The Ned while we waited. The staff was incredibly nice and helpful. Once we were seated, my boyfriend's glass was (almost) never empty. He drinks it in two sips! Everyone who walked by knew what he was drinking and offered to refill it. I tried the seasonal Harvest salad, which was so delicious. He enjoyed the Peppercorn Ranch salad. This was first time I've tried a Dewey's salad and they are large enough to share. Our pizza was half Bronx Bomber and half Don Corleone, which is seasonal. Both were great! I am thrilled they opened a Dewey's close to home! Now, I would have given five stars had the staff not disappeared after our food was delivered. We could have used a couple of beverage refills. Our cups never were under half empty and all the staff worked together to help all the tables. Very helpful to recommend what was good to try since it was our 1st time there. Awesome pizza and even better service. We called and placed our order for curbside take-our after seeing reviews for their pizza. The staff was very helpful over the phone to help me decide how much to order for my family. I ordered an 11" Southwest BBQ and it was perfect for myself and my fiancé. (8 slices for 11") Then we ordered just a plain 1/2 cheese and 1/2 pepperoni for our 3 kids who are 11, 8, and 2. Both pizzas had leftovers and tasted great! My 2 older kids said the sauce was a little spicy but we were very happy with the Southwest pizza. We were a little hesitant at first but we dove in head first to try it as we like other BBQ chicken style pizzas. Go for it! Yum! This place was great. Service was a little slow. I always expect a wait for food at a pizza joint, but that wasn't the issue here. Our food came out quickly, but it took a while to order and drinks to be refilled. I can't believe I've yet to write a review on Dewey's! Back in the fall I had the best date of my life, we never spoke again afterwards but he changed my life by introducing me to good pizza in the STL area. Seriously though, I've only tried the pizza as far as the food menu goes but every one that I've tried has been delicious. My current favorite is the Caprice! No matter what time of day or how busy, the staff is always friendly & providing service high above other local restaurants. We tried this restaurant for the first time a couple of weeks ago. My husband really enjoyed the IPA that they serve. And we really liked the pizzas. I like that their menu is well organized by white sauce pizzas, red sauce pizzas, and it's divided in half with the Porky Fig Pizza. It's great that they can make you a half and half pizza and you can even have two that have different sauces on the same pizza. My husband had half Porky Fig (Yum!) and half of a white sauce pizza (don't remember which one). He enjoyed them both. I had half Killer Veggie and half Hawaiian. They were both fantastic. The pizza is gourmet - like a better version of California Pizza Kitchen. The service was excellent. We liked it so much, we went back and brought our adult children with us. Out of towner. Came here solely based on reviews. Gotta say, it delivered. Wednesday night and there's a wait plus a never ending line of pick ups. The pizza is great. NY style for sure. But a light fluffy crunchy end crust instead of the dough ball you normally get with NY style. Here's the X factor. Everyone that works there has a smile. There's an open kitchen with windows for the kids to watch them stretch dough while they wait for a table. And the kitchen staff eats it up. Drawing pics and playing tic tac tow with the kids. Picked up a pizza for a Friday night in with my boyfriend, and we loved it! They had the pizza ready in 15 minutes, and was quick to pick it up. They let you order one pizza with 2 different flavors half and half, so we tried the Don Corleone and the porky fig. Both were fantastic, but the Porky Fig was our favorite. It is sweet and savory, and very unique! We would have liked to eat in but they were packed, so be prepared to wait during peak times. Their dining space was pretty small, but they had a small bar you can sit at. They do also have a viewing area to watch them make the pizzas. Highly recommend checking out Deweys! read more

I have a weakness for a good crust. Dewey's has a great crust! Perfect amount of chew and crispy. We got I think a 14in pizza with half caprice and half Bronx bomber. Both sides tasted really good. We also shared a reg sized caesar salad, which was a pretty big portion for two. I will say I wish their Parmesan on the salad was shaved fresh, it tasted a bit old. When I went to Deweys I got a pizza that was pretty big, a large was bigger than expected and had a few toppings. It wasn't anything phenomenal but I liked it. I've only been there once and never went back again. There's an AMAZING pizza place called Mellow Mushroom that beats any pizza place ever... yeah.
