Nothing but a positive experience here at the Dewey. To start the service was the best that my wife and I have had in a long time. Miranda our waitress was wonderful, quick, and polite. She gave us a few good recommendations starting with the jalapeño wings they were cooked nice and crispy outside but tender and not dry at all inside. Then we got the pastrami burger with half onion rings and half fries. It was great food not to fancy but so tasty and very filling. My wife got the shrimp tacos and she loved them. All of this at a great price and better service. We highly recommend this place if you have the opportunity. Just good all around. read more

This is a great place to grab a nice dinner after a day of enjoying the sights and outdoor activities around Moab. We stopped in on a Thursday evening and found plenty of parking available and were seated right away in the bar. Our server was very friendly and attentive and the restaurant was clean and comfortable. My husband and I both had steaks, which were tender and perfectly cooked. We will definitely come back to Dewey's the next time we are in Moab. read more

After a good hike at Arches, this place is a great place to reenergize. We came here specifically for the name since our dog's name is Dewey Our server was attentive and nice. My husband and I had their burgers. The beef patties were so juicy. Apparently they come from Colorado! I had their pastrami burger and after taking the first bite, all the juices came out lol. I think the highlight of it all were the onion rings. I've had many onion rings from different places, but Dewey's specifically perfected the batter that has a nice crunch and doesn't fall apart like other places. One bite, and you get both onion and fried batter. Will come back in the future when we visit Moab! read more

I came here because there seemed to be a lot of good options on the menu. My friend and I got the spinach dip to split. She got the poblano burger and fries and I got the chimmichuri steak with mashed potatoes. The spinach dip was good but not the best by any means. My friend seemed to really enjoy her poblano burger- but said the fries were only ok. I really enjoyed my steak- although it was a bit salty and overcooked. Still good flavors. Ordered two hamburgers cooked medium but when we got them, there were well done. I don't send the food back because you never know what they will do to your food. I told the server they were over cooked when he brought the check... No manager, even though my girlfriend left half of her burger uneaten and it was well done. Nothing. We were visiting Moab for a week and on our way in after driving 10 hours we were starving. We decided to stop into Deweys. While unique and pretty decent food...it was just that...pretty decent. I got the special of the night a rib plate with Mac & Cheese. The ribs were just okay and the Mac and Cheese was soupy -- not my favorite. My husband got the soup (garlic and beef) which was super unique and really good. he also got a chicken sandwhich which he said was decent. The food here was very good. We arrived to our hotel later than expected; many restaurants were already closed. Our concierge recommended Dewey's restaurant. When we arrived, we were both seated immediately. Our server was Kaan (I think I spelled his name correctly). Kaan couldn't have been nicer. He took our order right away (we both had burgers). This restaurant was recommended by the hotel, should have been the first warning. Was seated quickly, good. The place is loud, just a few parties in the room but overall with all of the hard surfaces it is an assault on the ears. The server finally arrived for a drink order and proceeded to talk over my wife twice, to the extent she quit trying to ask. The wait for the meal was a bit excessive, once delivered the disappointment set it, the bowl of soups was smaller than a serving of $0.99 Campbells. The chicken cordon bleu was no better than something from a hospital cafeteria. It had sat under a heat lamp and lost its character. We walked in and were barely greeted by the hostess. There was a 30 min wait so we grabbed a table in the bar and waited over 25 minutes for a drink. Our waiter, Orlando, seemed to be the only one working besides the bartenders so he was busy but he had a horrible attitude. When he came to the table we asked to order drinks and he told us to look at the menu and walked away. We had planned to have dinner but are walking out after a drink. I had the Fajita Shrimp Salad and my wife had the Spinach and Kale Salad. Both were fresh, the meat was cooked right, dressings were tasty, and had unique flavors overall. We will definitely come back here to try more of their food. Update: we came back and got burgers, cajun fries, and the pork quesadilla. Burgers were flavorful, tender, and had good buns. Food was decent. Was there for dinner. Ran home and came back for dessert and to watch a football game. They refused to allow me into the bar because I did not have my ID even though not even an hour before I was there for dinner and had a beer. Our waitress even remembered my birthday and said I was over 21. Still not good enough because I said "I did not have an ID" and that they had to enforce the law. However they seemed perfectly fine with not enforcing COVID protocols. They brought in a Scottish bagpipe band most of whom were standing around without masks and then playing inside at the bar. Clearly not within capacity limits and they seemed to not care what so ever about enforcing the mask rule. To make matters worse one of their employees served our dinner roles with his barehands. If they can't respect the simple masking and capacity rules, hell even the rules about not touching your customers foods with your barehands, I hate to think about what they do behind the walls. read more

Don't know how this is rated #1 in Moab. Nachos were not good at all... Melted cheese was cold when arrived. My salad was swimming in dressing, the peppers and onions on the salad were cooked which made the salad even more soggy, and my husband's burger was salty. On the positive side the onion rings were good. Advice to you is to skip Dewey's altogether. read more
