Finally! We've been in Moab five days and finally found restaurant/bar we have nothing to complain about! Waiter was professional and attentive. My husband had a steak, mashed potatoes and fresh veggies for "only" $22. Very reasonable considering prices at other places for a hamburger or wrap or pizza! My french dip was good. Beer was good. We were searching for someplace to eat and watch the laker game. The spoke had no bar seating and a very small TV, we were going to go back to Zaxs but thought let's look at Dewey's. They had seating in the bar at 7:30 and a TV that Austin, our waiter was kind enough to put on the laker game for us. Meatloaf was tasty and the Cuban sandwich has lots of pork and ham. Moscow mule was better than I make at home this is an above average sports bar. read more

We sat in the bar for dinner and the service was excellent! I ordered the the Veggie Primavera with penne and husband ordered the Chicken Cordon Bleu (ham and swiss on top of the breaded chicken instead of inside). Both meals were tasty and well portioned. The food was horrible. I asked for the Hawaiian Burger with grilled pineapple. They gave me pineapple straight from the cup! It wasn't even grilled either! And the ketchup, it was stuff that you can just get at your local grocery store. The service was pretty bad too. And don't even get me started on the bathroom. The urinal was wide out in the open with no dividers. And they couldn't even get the faucets to match. I don't recommend coming here. read more

Warning about a potential scam or shady situation at the bottom: First off, this is a tourist town so, don't expect some fancy, fine dining, because it's not. At best, a below average Denny's that looks like it's a trendy and hipster establishment. Waitress seemed nice, and it was kind of a busy night. We ordered onion rings, nachos, wings and kids meals. When I ordered, I asked for an extra ranch with my wings. When the food came, there wasn't an extra ranch but my kid ordered chicken fingers and had ranch that wasn't being used so I took it. The nachos were okay- nothing special. The wings weren't good they were soggy and fatty. We asked for the check and she dropped it off, waited a moment but I went to examine the check like a normal person, when she saw that she quickly walked away for about 10 minutes. Which was interesting because on my check was a $10 item I did not order. Eventually,she came back to take my credit card and I explained it was a mistake because we didn't order it nor did we receive it . She then quickly took it off without the help of a manager, which is shady, and then proceeded to add the extra ranch she never gave me. So not a $10 charge but $1.50. Amazing food. Poblano burger is the best burger I've had in Utah. The server Tom G. was quite rude when I tipped 18%. Sorry bud but you didn't deserve a penny more for your lackluster service. If you want friendly staff definitely look somewhere else. If you want a good burger, get the poblano. read more

We had the Pablano and Blackened Blue burgers which were fabulous. This is what burgers used to be like ages ago. Fries and Onion Rings were fantastic as well. I will come back each time we visit Moab moving forward. read more

We did a NAVTEC tour to Canyonlands in the morning and wanted suggestions on good local food that wasn't uppity or tried to hard if you know what I mean. Our guide suggested Dewey's and it was the perfect suggestion. My daughter and I got the Poblano burger. I consider myself a bit of a burger aficionado and this burger was in the top 5 of burgers that I have had in my travels. My wife got the pulled pork nachos and she liked those very much as well. We didn't drink but I saw at the table next to us that they brought samples out to them of all the different local brews that they requested before ordering and that was very cool. Great food and service! We ate at Dewey's three times in 4 nights in town. Everything we had was excellent- shrimp fajita salad, kale salad, vegetable salad with chicken, chicken teriyaki bowl, steak chimichurri, and cubano. The beer cheese soup and onion rings were good sides as well. Prices were very reasonable. All three servers we had were on top of things. We especially appreciated Scott. The beers were good too. Only downside is the small wine pours. But you can get wine anywhere so go for the great food and service! read more

Not sure the hype. I always look at what the reviewers say is good. Hubby and I had the shrimp tacos and the French dip. Tacos had very little flavor, beans were bland, rice was overcooked and cold. We sat on the tavern side which was cool and fun. My partner ordered the teriyaki bowl and said it was good/large portion. I ordered the steak and pasta which was massive and fairly good. Hey food managers, start checking expiration dates & temp your food: 165 for chicken, 155 for beef & and pork, 145 for fish... you were required to know this before receiving your certificate. The tacos were a bit bland, the chicken tenders were not real tender meat, they were more like chicken nuggets in chicken strip form. The dip was ok, it had dill in it which was just not for us. This place was so good! Had some chips and salsa for an appetizer and was surprised at how good it was. I ordered the Chicken Marsala which was so delicious and amazing! Honestly 10 out of 10. My husband had a burger with a side of fries and he was very pleased. The service was quick and the restaurant had a good atmosphere. They also have a small shop inside where you can buy merchandise such as shirts, cups, sweaters, etc. This was my favorite place I have eaten in Moab. Definitely recommend! This was easily our best stop in Moab. Wish we had found it sooner. The front is under construction and I think once the patio opens this place will be really popular. We ordered margaritas which were delicious as well as the shrimp fajita salad (mixed greens with fresh avocado, mango, cucumbers, tomatoes, blackened shrimp fajita mix and Cilantro Jalapeno Ranch) and the smoked salmon avocado salad (House smoked salmon over a bed of romaine lettuce with almonds, capers, fresh dill, red onions and grape tomatoes with housemade Balsamic Dressing). Everything was pretty tasty, the staff was friendly, and the prices were great. Will definitely swing by again when in town! read more

My tour guide recommended Dewey's for dinner. It was a great recommendation. The service was good and attentive. The drinks and food came out quickly. Ordered the meatloaf which was delicious. I had higher expectations for Dewey's. They were open despite the pretty extreme construction happening out front, which I understand. Our server was slightly aggressive, often trying to push her agenda on us. Sometimes I appreciate a good recommendation, but it was a little overboard. For dinner, we split a spinach artichoke dip. It was yummy, but not what I expected from this traditional American dip. I also had the poblano burger, which was cooked well. The flavors worked well together, and I especially enjoyed the jalapeño ranch. I couldn't finish the whole burger because it was HUGE. I also ordered an Old Fashioned with dinner, and I really enjoyed that. Overall, the food was good and the service was, despite the server being a little bit overbearing. I don't think I would go back though, since I do imagine that there is better food to be found for a better deal in Moab. read more
