I took my son out to The Hub thinking it'd be just another boring meal of burgers and pizza. I'd been here so long ago, I couldn't really remember the food. But wow, we were both floored by how absolutely delicious our meal was. We shared a big bowl of perfectly seasoned and chunky chilli and a margherita Pizza that had such a generous amount of basil on it and, according to my son, the best tomato sauce he's ever tasted. On top of that, the bartender mixed me up one of the best old fashioneds I've had in a while and my son loved his grapefruit rosemary mocktail. Add to all this delicious food the fact that we could look out on the runway and watch the planes? Seriously one of the best local eating experiences there are. Let me just start off and say that Taylor was our server and she was absolutely amazing at her job. She made us feel like we were at home. It was very genuine. She was always there for all of our needs and took care of the whole family. We had a total of six adults and two children. I thought the brussels sprouts were absolutely amazing. They were cooked to perfection and the sauce and the bacon just made the flavor better. The Reuben sandwich that I had was great, but I just thought the bread got a little soggy due to the grease, which tends to happen but not all Reuben's are like that. The fish and chips were just regular fish and chips and there was no special component to them. The build your own pizza came out very big and looked absolutely delicious and the kids were fighting over pizza. The grinder was absolutely the star of the show. The grinder was absolutely phenomenal and great flavor all-around taste and would highly recommend to order that every single time. I'm still giving this five stars, even though some of the food was a little lackluster, but the main star of the whole experience was Taylor our server. She did absolutely amazing again. If I was her employer, I would definitely give her a raise or make sure she's always there for every single person which can't happen in reality. read more

Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. The tables and floor were dirty, and our server never came back to check whether we needed refills on our water or drinks. We also watched several patrons walk in and wait without being greeted by staff; they eventually had to seek someone out to get seated. Our server spent time on his phone instead of checking in to see if we needed anything else. We ordered a couple of drinks, which were just so-so. The positives were view of the runway/tarmac and some of the starters tasted fine, However, the lack of cleanliness and inattentive service really impacted our overall experience. The Hub is one of our favorite spots! The staff is always incredibly friendly and welcoming -- especially Sarah, who truly goes above and beyond to make you feel taken care of. The food is consistently fresh and delicious, and the drinks are just as good. You really can't beat the view either -- it makes the whole experience even better. We're regular customers, and I'm really disappointed that The Hub has replaced the Impossible Burger with a black bean burger. I appreciate the idea of offering handmade veggie patties, but unfortunately, they're very soggy and tend to fall apart. As a vegan, it's already challenging to find local restaurants that serve plant-based food that's truly satisfying and something I look forward to ordering. The Impossible Burger was one of the reasons we loved coming here, and I'd really appreciate seeing it back on the menu. Please consider bringing it back for your vegan customers! read more

I've been to the Hub twice. The first time Inhad the beet salad and then smash burger along with a couple of whiskey drinks. The service was good. The view was beautiful. The food is where there is a bit of opportunity. The beet salad. This was outstanding! I will go back for this alone! Although at $16, it's a bit overpriced. Beets and Arugala aren't high ticket items. This should be $12, at best. The smash burger. A lot of bun for an overcooked, very thin patty. Fries, slightly soft, could have been cooked a little longer. Not the best value for the price but it was tasty. This should be a double-patty for the price and to compensate for the thinness of the burger so you don't have so much bun. I also had the fish and chips and again, the portion of fish was dismal. Three tiny strips, albeit hand battered but anemic portion of fish. You can get much bigger portion for the price elsewhere. The drinks... OMGosh these are overpriced! You can drink elsewhere for much less and get a better pour for sure! I give this place a solid 3.5 because of the sweetest people working there and the beet salad. Opportunity to better price the food and drinks or give better portions should be considered by management/owners. They do have a pretty awesome menu but I am reserved on trying other things as the portions are minimal and the prices hearty. read more

Zero to ten. Negative five. I walked in and noticed that the front doors had not been cleaned in quite a long time. Finger prints, catsup, and more. The girl said to sit at any table. Place almost empty. We sat for quite awhile in an empty restaurant. Four servers walked by me three times but I guess we were not her table. Let's get to the food. I ordered the club sandwich. You can never go with a club so I thought. Worst club sandwich I ever had. Get rid of that so called holy bread. It was hard and tough. Yes I said tough. Put some mustard or mayo or anything to help give it some help. This club was horrible. My wife ordered a hamburger. It was worse than the club. The service was horrible. It took forever to get anybody to take care of our bill. This place needs some serious management meetings or just plain new management and new cooks. This was my worst experience of 2026. don't waste your money getting your kids chicken strips because they probably won't eat them.. the chicken strips appeared over cooked, if not burnt. we have also previously tried the kids grilled cheese as well, which to an adult may look delicious but the bread was too hard and crunchy for my kid to eat. read more

Pretty good food, but I can understand how the reviews would be hit or miss. I only tried two things there. The fish tacos are absolutely to die for. Truly great. The Reuben was Definitely not good. Chewy, rubbery meat full of unrendered fat, not the best. The staff is sweet and attentive. While its gimmick is being able to sit on the ramp and watch the planes, but it's not a very interesting airport. Dropped by today for a light lunch of fried calamari with spicy aioli and lemon, and a large anchovy and olive pizza, along with three Arnold Palmers. Food and drinks were great, and service was exceptional. Because it was a rare warm and sunny day in the harbor today, we opted for outdoor seating and enjoyed a nice view of the small planes landing and taking off. They have a kids' menu with a lot of choices, too. Will definitely be back with the kids soon. read more

Starting with the negative and ending with the positive- Small venue, wait times are high especially for larger groups. Everything is really salty but not too bad. I went with the $22 fish and chips that was more like chicken tenders and was really dry. The coating was something I've not had before which I think was a panko lemon pepper but not sure. Chewing through the fish was tough but the fries (chips) were tasty. The cole slaw had zero dressing therefore was just raw cabbage. As I stated, the fries were good but overall it's a no. My wife had the sub and said it too was salty. The service was fair, a smile and a visit to the table would have been nice but they were very busy. My niece had the smashburger and the tots and said they were good, the buffalo sauce for the tots was nice and not overly spicy; the tartar sauce for the fish was actually something I've never had before but wouldn't qualify it as tartar sauce. I'd be willing to try The Hub again as I've heard their pizza is pretty good. read more

It was a boring salad, and the apple slices were tasteless and dry. Then came the worst part, stomach upset. Not pleasant. Cool spot on the airport with outdoor seating and a great view of the runway and all the flying going on. Very casual with indoor and outdoor seating, including a bar, and large picnic tables outside for large parties. Simple menu with high quality food. Pizza is great and the burgers look fantastic. Quality beer selection with mostly local brews and something for everyone. The staff is very friendly, polite, and helpful. This is a very family and kid friendly place. Sadly, things are going downhill at the Hub. First off. Their breakfast is terrible. They used to made a mean breakfast pizza and now it's horrid. They Offically win the worst biscuits and gravy ever award and their omelets are just sad. Their better at lunch/dinner but even that is lacking lately. The quality is getting worse right along with the service. And worst off, it's getting dirty in there. It's like no one is in charge anymore and the inmates are running the asylum. It's all fixable with some new management, a good deep clean and a revaluation of their menu and or sources of products. Very nice place to sit and watch planes come and go, especially on a nice sunny day! Be advised that they do not allow dogs indoors or at their enclosed patio seating. We were able to have our pet in open air seating, however! Really enjoyed the pizza and local beers! read more

We were only one of four tables seated and the other table complained about the time and looked equally displeased with their food. FOOD/DRINKS: The food was NOT good. The fish was overly breaded and tasted like the oil was overdue for a change, making it impossible to eat. I picked the fish out from inside of the breading. PRICE/ATMOSPHERE: We had three beverages w/alcohol and the lunches, totally up to $69 and some change. To be honest, the price tag was a little dagger as the food was worse than McDonald's. WOW :-) the cute blonde chef is the best Pizza maker in town, her name is Evelyn as had to ask when the Pizza was cooked to a tee, way better than any Pizza in Gig Harbor as I lived here all my life as she killed it for Pizza I will be back and if she is cooking, I will be eating as she is perfecto with food, we love you Evelyn.....you are the best chef in Gig Harbor !!!
