I was in a jam with a window that collapsed (couldn't roll it up) and called DFW Mobile Repair to help me after hours. I appreciated them showing up quickly for the repair after hours. Unfortunately, the replacement part that they put in stopped working after a couple weeks. When I called to complain about the broken part and the supposed warranty, the Saudi man with whom I spoke was very rude and said that the warranty would not cover the part replacement. Nonsense for a $450 window repair that lasted less than a month. Not only all that, but in replacing the window, the guy cracked open the plastic cover/cup for the door handle that I also had to get replaced. Awful place. Do not trust your valuable car with these fraudsters. read more

I had no idea mobile auto repair was a thing... my car died one morning, and I couldn't find a shop open. I wasn't sure what was wrong, so I would have had to try and jump it, tow it, then diagnose it with a shop, then get an estimate. I described the issue to Hamm over the phone, he diagnosed he could fix it (battery), and was available same-day. Showed me the testing he was doing, and showed my alternator also was going out - which was about to overload the new battery! He fixed that when he was free in the next few days. Super fast, professional, and honest about what needed and didn't need to be done. I probably saved $300-$400 as well (maybe more without towing costs). read more

My car had been sitting for a year and he got it running and back in great shape in record time for a great price and even helped me unload and reload some giant wooden beams out of my car (they were essentially being stored in there) that I didn't realize would need to come out so he could access the fuel tank -- all because he's just a super nice dude. These guys are hands down the best when it comes to honest work and customer service. I've used them twice now, and most recently they saved me $2600 in unneeded repairs my local shop said I needed. After having my oil changed at this place a week before, I started experiencing a severe vibration in the engine. I took the car to the place I got the oil changed a week before since they also talked me into, an engine flush, power steering flush, and brake line flush. I should have known then something wasn't right with this shop. After dropping the car off with them for an hour, he called to say I needed a new catalytic converter along with a few other things totaling almost $2600 which I attached in a pic. I told them I would think about it and call them in the morning. I got off the phone and immediately called Hamm to see what he thought He told me to get the car from the shop first thing in the AM and take it for a free engine light check at a local auto parts store. I did exactly that, and the code came back for a misfire and possibly a blown valve cover gasket. After speaking with Hamm we decided to start with just a tuneup and see if there was a bigger problem. When Hamm arrived we found out is was indeed a blown valve cover gasket which he repaired for a very reasonable price. I also had the all the starting coils and spark plugs replaced for less than what the shop wanted to charge me in labor alone. Needless to say the catalytic converter, and O2 sensor are fine and didn't need to be replaced. Again, when I say these guys are the best I really mean it. They saved me the $2600 plus who knows what, as I'm sure they would have charged me an additional $2000 for the valve cover gasket repair. I will never use anyone else for auto repair and I have already told all my family and friends to use this outfit. read more

My service was for battery replacement. Hamm purchased the brand new battery - covered under 18 month warranty for the model - and installed it at my apartment. He also took the old battery away for disposal which was a relief. Invoice is given at the end for your records and signed through mobile, so it's all digital. BMW owners always get ripped off! So- call this guy from now on. My car was stuck in a parking lot- in Frisco- in a thunderstorm today. It was a downpour, hail falling, and a total mess outside. And my car would not get out of park and my sensors/messages were all lit up on my console. I was in a grocery store parking lot- what do you do? I hit up Yelp, and find this guy Hamm, the owner of DFW Mobile Repair. I call him- tell him what's going on- he says give me 30 minutes. He drove from uptown Dallas to Frisco in a thunderstorm, picked up my battery- on the way- and quoted me an incredible rate! He gets there tests the battery- before charging a nickel. Keep in mind- it is a thunderstorm. He says it is the alternator overcharging the battery-oh no- I think here we go the BMW treatment. He is about to charge a fortune. Nope. He says this is the price I said- I have to get the alternator though, otherwise the battery will be totally ruined in a week. He drove me to pick up the alternator - 50 minute round trip in his car- drives me back, and fixes my BMW in 20 minutes. The guy is incredible. He replaced an alternator in the pouring rain on a BMW- replaced the battery too- and stuck to his price. The guy is honest, ethical, and a bad ass mechanic. We were in a jam and needed someone who could fix a large piece of equipment that had a broken belt and broken fan in the Dallas area. Hamm was able to show up to the jobsite the next day and make the repair even though he had never worked on a machine like this. Since I was in Seattle and he was in Dallas he took photos and video of the repairs and sent them to me to make sure it was running like it should. My vehicle would not start due to what I thought was a bad fuel pump. I put out a request in the slim hope that someone would be able to do that kind of repair onsite and I wouldn't have to pay a tow truck to get it to a dealer. Hamm responded almost immediately, gave me an idea of what a diagnostic would cost and his next opening. He came on time and though he did not have the part immediately, he got my car running so I could go to the grocery store and what not. He told me what part to order ($13 relay on Amazon) and when it arrived he came back the very next day to put it in and get it going with the correct part. I CANNOT begin to say how grateful I am. Hamm was so pleasant, so nice, explained what was going on, what I should do and what it would cost. He made things as easy as can be. I'm shouting his name from the rooftops, because you know darn well the dealership would have charged me $150 just to look at it without fixing it, plus the tow, plus parts and labor. Hamm was 1/4 of the cost, faster, more pleasant to work with and got me back and on the toad in short order. Highly recommend, will definitely use his services in the future!! read more

Usually do most of my own work on my vehicles but had some oxygen sensors that were almost impossible to reach so I called several mobile mechanics and Hann had the lesser cost plus saw his company had 5 star reviews. I can see why the 5 star reviews. He came to my place, replaced the parts I needed and then found some hoses that had collapsed and replaced them as well without charging me extra. Hands down the smoothest, best mobile repair. I have used other services. Nothing comes close to them. I called them for a minor breaks repair. I'm guessing owner answered, gave me a quote in literally 10 seconds. We agreed and he said text the address. Once I did I got a text from the owner that his guy Jay is on the way and should be there in an hour. Jay showed up in 20 mins if that!! Jay was very nice and professional.
