Their work is shoddy, sloppy, and they are the most dishonest, fraudulent, corrupt thieves I have ever dealt with in my life. They milked the insurance company for every penny they could. STAY AWAY!!!! Run if you can. 48 complaints & many lawsuits not backed by the BBB. I would not recommend them to my worst enemy. EVER.

We signed the contract with two hours' sleep on a neighbor's couch and in a state of shock. That was a massive mistake. I thought they seemed honest and credible. I felt they wouldn't take advantage of an 80-year-old retiree on a fixed income. The saying's true: There's no fool like an old fool. Thing is, though, the salesman concentrated on dealing with my wife who's younger than I am. We were displaced and had to rent an apartment with a six-month lease. We figured and were led to believe by Restoration XP that restoration work would be finished sometime in June. Our house was about a quarter or so fire-damaged and the rest of was smoke damage some of which was light. The insurance company said it should take four to six months to complete restoration inside and out. Early on, the Restoration XP salesman walked us through the house. He showed us all the water/smoke-stained walls (stains left from ashy water as firefighters trained their hoses on charred attic areas). He said the stains would be cleaned first then treated with a primer and then painted. That turned out to be B.S. Painters just sprayed heavy coats of Kilz or something like it over the water stains then paint was applied over that. Work was being done through March. It was good work. Everything in the house was inventoried; furniture, clothing, etc., was stored at Restoration XP's warehouse in Carrollton; debris, etc., was cleaned out, the roof was rebuilt, most of the wiring was installed, demolition completed, dry wall installed, most of the first coat of interior painting was done though not completed. Most but not all of our custom kitchen cabinetry was cleaned of smoke damage. Pantry shelving was rebuilt. Then everything just sort of ground to a halt. No amount of complaining from us did any good. We got our third project manager. That didn't help. We were promised this or that part of the work would be done. Unexplained delays would ensue. We were beginning to not feel confident that Restoration XP was doing what it should and in a timely manner. Several times we asked the project manager for a general accounting of how the insurance money was being spent. "We can do that," the project manager would say. However, we have never gotten such an accounting. We have never been told why. That's something else we've encountered practically every time we've had a question: run-around, vague answers. "Next Thursday" has turned into "Next week," etc. They've done things to our house without consulting with us such as rebuilding the dormer that in no way resembles our original dormer nor is it built with Hardie board. Restoration XP seems to me to be secretive. That troubles me. Basically little work was done in May or in June and now through these first days of July. Since May 1, about five days of work have been done: a day of painting, a couple hours to install a new garage door, a day to prep floors for flooring and carpet (none of which has been installed), a couple of days installing flooring (which isn't finished). That's obviously unacceptable to put it nicely. Three days of work on flooring were welcome as was the promise of carpet installation. Guess what. No carpet, no carpet, no explanation, which is another problem that we've encountered repeatedly: awful communication, no explanations, lots of vague replies and excuses. Doing things without consulting with us. It's just disgusting. Along the way, my wife and I have yielded on some things we wanted in order to help expedite work. That has done no good whatsoever. The power has not been turned back on (there's no meter). Electrical outlets, plugs, fans, etc. have not been installed. Return air for the AC has not been done. Still to be done as well are many things, including the water heater, cooktop, oven, microwave, dishwasher. They haven't even been purchased yet by Restoration XP as far as we know, and that's their responsibility. Our part of appliances to purchase were the refrigerator, washer and dryer, which we bought (before Memorial Day!) and had to store in the garage. This is not all that my wife and I can complain about. There's plenty more. Also, because we're in the SEVENTH month of this mess now, we're having to rent the apartment month-to-month at an additional $1,000 per month, so the insurance company is now breathing down OUR necks NOT RESTORATION XP's about getting things finished. They aren't happy about covering higher rent. We certainly are not happy that we are not back in our home yet. I do want to say that Rosie, Restoration XP's Content Manager, has been the one bright spot. She is excellent and has been very helpful. Bottom line in our experience with Restoration XP: we wouldn't touch them with a 10-foot pole if we had it to do over again. And if you're thinking about contracting with them, you'd better do your due diligence.

Unfortunately, this function was accidentally triggered during a bad thunderstorm and the whole car interior was soaked. Worried about water damage and the potential for mold growth, I started looking for companies that could fix the issue. 911 Restoration responded promptly and I immediately had them go to work for us. And man were these guys awesome. Everyone I interacted with was super kind and professional. From the phone call with the manager to the operators who came to deal with my vehicle, I felt cared for and that everything was going to be taken care of. With these guys, I didn't have to bring my vehicle in. They came to where I was and set up their equipment. My vehicle was soaked so it took about 2 days to completely dry it out. Shout to the operators -- Isaiah, James, and Willard. They were super friendly, had excellent communication, and came by every day of the service see how the drying process was going. You guys were awesome! My car was completely restored! Not one chance that there could've been any moisture left in my vehicle once they were done. I'm very satisfied with the work 911 Restoration has done. I highly recommend them.

We were referred to CWF by A#1 Air. Project Manager Oscar showed up to assess the damage later that same day (Wednesday, Jan 17th)and walked us through the process. During his time here, we contacted our insurance company to file a claim which was initiated within 20 minutes with a representative over the phone. Since Oscar was present, it facilitated communication. Oscar gave us a two-hour window between 8am and 10am and said that we should expect to receive a call from dispatch informing us that they are on their way. He also took a series of pictures before he left so that he could inform the crew of the events that transpired. On Saturday, January 20th, the mitigation crew removed a portion of the engineered flooring that was affected and promptly placed industrial fans on and around it. They informed us that they would be back to pick up the equipment (in 4 days) after the area has completely dried and answered any questions we had. Kris, Sheldon, Gabriel, and Oscar were professional and knowledgeable - explaining everything about the process and I appreciate the time and patience they took on a Saturday morning to help us. We are going to go with CWF for restoration as well.
