There are several places for good hookahs in Pinellas county. Then you find that one elusive, truly excellent place for a truly well made hookah, with hoses that still taste clean, shisha that is packed perfectly so that it doesn't burn too fast or too slow and flavors that are clean and fresh. After a two year long quest, I can finally say Dharma Hookah lounge can provide! My husband is Turkish and he knows good hookahs! The hookahs at Dharma's are well prepared, the flavors offered are clean and come through the smoke leaving very little after taste of burn. The kratom and kava teas offered in a variety of flavors are also top quality and excellent in their preparation. I have researched Kratom and it's supposed medicinal properties Dharma's is the first that has actually lived up to it's medicinal claims. The music changes variety but stays pretty consistently moderate-high energy and there's a jukebox if ya wanna play something of your own. Moved to Tampa a week ago and have been on the lookout for a good hookah spot. Dharma was my 3rd spot in less than a week and I have to say, third one hit the spot! The hookah is definitely one of the best I have smoked and I am a regular smoker and have tried hookah in Istanbul, Greece, Dubai, Saudi Arabia, India and of course, the United States. The packing of the bowl was just perfect and not for once, did I feel the harshness in my throat. In fact, I was so impressed that I asked the hookah maker how exactly he does it. I was super happy with the product and along with the Kratom tea and good wifi and comfy seating, the entire experience was outstanding. They have Facebook specials along with Happy Hour prices, so definitely check this place out. I drove down here from Tampa Heights and trust me, it was more than worth the drive time. Very rarely do I ever give a place five stars but Dharma ABSOLUTELY deserves every star! Let me begin with the hookah. Absolutely amazing. Great taste, and the use of a special coal without all the other crap other lounges use in their coals. Thirsty? There are not many places where you can relax, listen to music and enjoy some of the finest, all natural, herbal drinks, teas and flavorful, mellow hookah. This is the best place in town for all of the above. The owners are friendly and accommodating and can whip up most anything you want. The guys that run this place are amazing. They offer several flavors and brands of Sheesha and serve a variety of kava. Their menus explain what everything is with concrete preciseness which makes for an interesting visit and accurate selection. Prices are fair and the location is close to my friends including myself which is very convenient considering most hookah places exist outside of a 5 mile radius from where most of us live. Visiting Florida from Seattle, always love a good hookah. While some places are hit and miss, either price or service wise but this place hits the bullseye! Service is chill, attentive and friendly. A cute dog greets you at the door, colourful lights and artwork grab your attention and comfy couches help you stay. Great smoke with two options of brands. Natural coals and many flavors of shisha.
