Di Vita's has a coupon clearly listed on their website for 2 large one topping pizzas for $28.95. It says, "Coupon valid with direct phone-in orders only". When I called in to order they said they don't have that coupon and the price is $32.95. I said "never mind", and she said "great!". They really didn't want my business and they'll never get it again.

A+ Italian Beef Sandwich with a very flavorful Au Jus. That they were the only place open late on a Sunday makes them heros with heros.

I been ordering from there for over 20 years but NOT anymore the last 2 times they messed up my order and the 2nd time the pizza was cold when I call them back, they said they would notify the owner and 5 days later I called them back the phone person was very RUDE. I asked for the owner to call me back and she stated she don't have time to talk to me as long-time customer. Let stand strong together! and refuse order ANYTHING from them. PS I am a 12 army Vet so I am also asking all my follow service members to stand strong and NOT order from them God bless America.

Chicago , October 2019 Di Vita Pizzaria My Cuban buddy from Miami flew into town on business and is staying with his brother for a few days. He calls me up and says meet him , his brother and another Cuban guy at some Cuban restaurant on the north side. So , I'm thinking we're eating Cuban food tonight , yummy ! I arrive at the Cuban restaurant and they announce that they want to eat Chinese. Huh ? Three Cuban guys want to eat Chinese ? They say yeah , cuz they eat Cuban food everyday and want something different. Soooo, we drive over to a Chinese restaurant not too far away. Guess what. It's closed ! Duh ! It's Monday ! Everyone knows that Chinese restaurants are closed on Monday in Chicago. These guys thought today was HUMP day. Geez , I told em it's not Hump day , it's MONday ! So now what. I know says the smart one , lets go get Pizza. Pizza places are always open in Chicago. So , we end up driving to Di Vita Pizzaria. The place was relatively empty , only one couple seated in the back. After driving the waitress crazy with our futile attempt to convey to her just what we wanted on our Pizza for four, we settled on cheese and sausage. But that was on 3/4 of the Pizza cuz the fat guy in the group wants vegetarian pizza , on his 1/4 of the pizza. uuuffff , vegetarian , who let him into the group. He says he's dieting. After a long wait the Pizza arrives. It's the "Football" size pizza. We dive in and consume most of the pizza. The left overs we gave to "Fatty" , you know , for his midnight snack. Yeah , i know , he's dieting. Okay , the pizza was very good. It was filling. It did it's job. It was my first time at Di Vita BUT these guys have all been here before and give this place a thumb's up. I agree , thumb's up. Our server was very pleasant and accommodating. Parking is on the street. I give this place 4 Stars.

I needed my fix for tavern style pizza after Johns Pizza closed, and this place is it! Cracker crust, thin dough with enough bite and square slices. Perfect amount of sauce and cheese. I've ordered here several times and once in person in the past several months I haven't had any issues.

Large sausage and green olive. Stellar.

My favorite pizza place in the Avondale/Logan Square area. I've ordered delivery from here a ton over the years, and rarely had anything but fantastic results. Classic Chicago-style, old school thin crust pizza. Neighborhood joint in the best sense possible. Order by phone for best results.

    Divita's Super Special Pizza

Okay I've been sleeping on this place. I ordered for the first time today and I'm impressed with the pizza. It's paper thin and extra crispy, great sauce, great amount of toppings. I ordered wings with the pizza but 10/10...they're trash. The wings should be renamed to Jewel Osco's wing dings. Don't sleep on the pizza!

So I got a slice which comes with 2 separate slices. I want to echo what someone else said the slice tasted extremely similar to the pizza you get in the school lunch. I think it's the seed that's next to the sausage. I feel that the recipe they use for the slices is different than the whole pie. It comes with a pop when you get the slices. There's a bar I frequent across the street Sleeping Village came to get a slice after I had a few beers.

The restaurant is not busy at all. We were seated right away. Our server was nice and attentive. We ordered pizza and pasta. Pepperoni and Whipped Ricotta Pizza - cooked perfectly, fresh ingredients and delicious! Served hot! Short Rib Pappardelle - to die for! This is very tasty, the pasta is cooked al dente. The short rib sauce is ssosooo delicious! We sat by the bar overlooking the open kitchen. It was nice to see the chef make the pizza and make the pasta. Further area is more fine dining with wall of wine. Very classy! Street parking only. So plan ahead.

Normally I hate those kinds of large group dinners, but this was the perfect spot for it. The service was absolutely wonderful. I don't know how our server stayed so cool and calm with a group that size. We got a variety of things. EVERYTHING was amazing. If you have seen any of my other reviews, I always get a meatball when I'm at a place that has them. They almost never live up to my expectation. But this place has the new gold standard for a meatball. It was everything you want. It is fork tender, full of flavor, no chewy ground up bits. The pizzas were authentic and thin. With fabulous house made red sauce that wasn't too thick and overwhelming. The flavor was A+ The cocktails were so good! All made from scratch with love. The ambiance was cozy and comfortable. Perfect for a group or a date. They have a full bar, and also great seating with perfect lighting. This is a new favorite for me in the city.

The octopus surprised me because octopus can be hit or miss for me, but they did it really well! The table bread was also pretty good and cheesy. The Caesar was just fine. Nothing special but not bad (which is good coming from me since I'm not usually big on kale). Of course all of the pastas were yummy. The fusilloni was definitely my favorite from the noodle shape to the sausage and cheese. The ricotta dumplings were suuuuuper cheesy which I really liked (though I could see why others wouldn't) and had a melt in your mouth softness. The rigatoni was tasty, but kinda just tasted like a normal red sauce so would probably try something more interesting next time. We really enjoyed the chicken parm, too. Not as good as the pastas, but definitely tasty and the basil was a good touch. We finished with the guava cheesecake sundae. I really liked the little bits of cake, but the ice cream itself was a little lacking for me. Still a nice sweet treat to finish the meal!! We had the perfect amount of food overall for 4 people!

The place is a little crammed inside, but good service. I think they have cameras lol because everytime I was running out of water or when I was done with my food the servers came around FAST AF. But again, serving size I chowed down on this pretty fast and even upon presentation I'm like "that's it?!" Just because serving sizes I don't think I'd come here again.
