Large 14" Thin Crust 1 Topping Pizza
    Ayden S.

Ya know, sad I had this experience but they just lost a pretty loyal customer. Ordered off of Uber Eats and it took TWO hours. When we finally got it half the cheese was slid off - view picture. When we called to complain the manager apologized and asked for a picture. We sent it- then he asked if we wanted a replacement and we accepted a medium. 35 minutes later a new smaller pizza came AND THEY WANTED THE MESSED UP EATEN ORIGINAL BACK. You wanted a pizza we ate .... DURING A GLOBAL HEALTH PANDEMIC?! Never. Again.

Beef and sausage combo with mozzarella and sweet peppers

My hunger for pizza continues! I was hesitant to order from this place and it turned out to be for good reason. Festa seems like a clone of "Little Clown Pizza" down to giving you "Festa Bucks with every order . With Little Clown Pizza the food was pretty bland which was odd because it looked amazing and Festa is no different. I ordered a medium supreme pizza along with a beef & sausage combo. Both looked amazing, but didn't really have a smell which sent off my alarms for "BLAND FOOD INCOMING!" After trying out both I knew it was going to be hard to keep eating since I might as well have been eating cardboard. The best thing was the sausage and bread of the combo as the sausage actually was seasoned. Price wise things were ok, the pizza itself was definitely overpriced for what was offered. Overall, I'm going to have to pass on this one. Just about everything is a bland, tasteless mess that makes you wonder why you just paid so much money for cardboard. 3/5 stars

We ordered delivery late at night and the service was actually much faster than what we expected - only 40 mins. We ordered the stuffed pepperoni pizza and paid $20 after a delivery fee of $3 and a $5 off coupon from Yelp. THANKS YELP! When our driver arrived we didn't have to sign a receipt and weren't able to give him a tip, so maybe we missed that option on the website - keep a look out. The pizza was good (7/10). It was our first time having stuffed pizza and we were pleased. Stringy cheese and a sweet sauce with a nice light crust. We would eat here again if we had the chance!

We ordered the pepperoni deep dish and the pepperoni tavern style. The deep dish arrives in a cast iron pan, featuring caramelized crust that edges on burnt for a perfect, crispy crunch. The base is thick and doughy, layered with some mozzarella, a tasty sauce, and slightly charred pepperoni. The tavern style provides a nice contrast. Served cut into squares, it has a solid thin crust that holds up nicely under some melted cheese and loads of flat pepperoni. This remains my absolute favorite deep dish in Chicago, and I go anytime I'm in town visiting. Pro tip: Make a reservation well in advance because walk-in wait times get incredibly long.

I had high expectations for this place but it was honestly underwhelming. The pizza had too much cheese, extra costs for adding toppings, and the crust was nothing memorable. Appetizers were good. My group shared jalapeño poppers and the chicken bites, good sized portion chicken and both came with sauce without asking so that was nice. Overall, I really wanted to like this place but it wasn't there as a tourist who's had pizza from different parts in the US. It was a nice try as a first and last time.

However we arrived earlier than scheduled and we ended up getting settled at our hotel so we walked and went in early. We arrived at 4pm and they let us in - was perfect because it wasn't busy. It's my son's first visit to Chi-town so I think this is a good first meal. We got the Chicago meatballs so we can eat something as the deep dish pizza takes 30 mins. The meatballs are flavorful and filled us up until we get our pizza. We picked the Malnati's Chicago classic - medium. The butter crust is really good and the cheese to meet ratio is balanced. While it is deep dish - it didn't feel like it's super thick, I think the butter crust was the difference. It was quiet when we arrived and we were seated in the dining area by the back in the ground level. There was only 1 group and another couple when we arrived so it wasn't loud. I'm sure when it's peak hours it'll be more festive and busy. Great first meal - order some starters if you're hungry. Medium was quite big for 2 people but good if you want to have some slices to-go.

Maybe I am not a big fan of Chicago style pizza. I do know whatever pizza I had wasn't very good. The dough was not done through the middle. So bites of it was filled with raw dough. We had olives, and those taste very tinny - Like a strong metallic taste. Our other friend got an Italian beef sandwich that also wasn't very good. Kind of a tourist trap, is you ask me.

It was dark and way too cold for a summer afternoon. This place piqued our interest as we saw it was rated top in the world and supposedly better than deep dish. High expectations no doubt. We came with a party of six and had a reservation for six, but our table felt more appropriate for four people. The restaurant itself is spacious, so it was disappointing that we felt so cramped. We started with the calamari, which I really enjoyed. The batter was light and crispy without feeling greasy. We also shared the seafood pizza, duck prosciutto pizza, cup and char pepperoni pizza, and the gnocchi. All three pizzas were delicious, with very thin and crispy crusts. The seafood pizza came with a soup or broth that you could pour over it, which was nice and it also came with so much seafood. The cheese was slightly firm, but the pizza was still flavorful and enjoyable. The duck prosciutto had a noticeable duck aroma, melty cheese, and a rich, savory flavor. The cup and char pepperoni pizza was satisfying as well, especially the pepperoni with its crisp, curled edges. The gnocchi was another standout. It was satisfyingly chewy with a great texture and bold flavor. We finished with the tiramisu, which was light, balanced, and not overly sweet. Overall, the food was delicious and the waterfront setting made for a lovely dinner. I just wish we had been seated at a more comfortable table for our party size.
