Not your basic coffee shop, with great tasting coffee! The Mexican mocha 10/10, not too sweet, just perfect. Egg, bacon, cheese panini 10/10 Service was great, 1 person doing everything, but she was handling everything well. Great decor, plenty of seating

Día Del Café celebrates coffee all-year round although the name is in honor of International Coffee Day, which is usually celebrated on October 1st. I luuuv this shop's vibrant Mexican-themed decor and cool...chill cultural vibes. I think it's awesome that I get to interact with Tony, the owner, when I'm there...he's super duper friendly. It's rare to experience this at other businesses. I can tell he's really passionate and proud of his café. A BIG THANK YOU for your warm hospitality! The food/drink and service are always EXCELLENT. My positive experiences keep me coming back to the coolest coffee shop in San Diego. For coffee days, definitely a MUST-GO Yelp Community!! Highly recommended!!!

I had an iced almond milk latte (unsweetened) was tasty. The horchata latte looked tempting! The barista (unsure if he was the owner) was extremely warm, welcoming and kind. The service alone will make me come back. He even offered to add a photo of my dog who is about to pass on the ofrenda (alter). This is a welcoming little neighborhood coffee shop. They had a little networking event going on which was cool.

Cute coffee shop. Has a day of the dead theme. Decorated so beautifully inside. Has plenty of room to sit and drink your coffee outside or inside. They do offer paninis and pan dulce to accompany your coffee. They do have street parking and it's located on a busy street. Music was nice. Paid around 20 bucks for a horchata latte and panini. But was well worth it!! It is a little tucked away so keep an eye out!! The gentleman working was so nice and quick to put the orders out. I recommend the paninis!! They do have a soyrizo option as well as turkey.

Día del Café is one of those rare spots that still feels real. One of the last coffee shops in town that's truly run and operated by the owner, and you can feel that care in everything they do. The quality is great, the prices are affordable, and the shop proudly pays tribute to Tony's Mexican roots in the best way. Tony is the kind of owner you wish more coffee shops had present, passionate, and full of soul. This place isn't trying to be trendy, it's just genuinely good. Highly recommend stopping by for a solid Americano and some pan dulce. Simple, authentic, and done right.

With plenty of options of where to grab coffee in North Park and University Heights, I've been meaning to try out Dia Del Cafe. Located on Adam, they have a unique aesthetic and plenty of seating indoor and outdoor. The menu had lots to pick from, especially the lattes. Opted for the cold brew with horchata, which was great to cool down on a sunny day. Will be back for sure!

Great spot. Tony, Patsy, and the rest of the staff are always so nice and friendly. The coffee and tea are always so delicious. They have great hot, pressed sandwiches. Really good pastry and other delicious sweets. Cool spot to grab a lift me up.

I was selling my art in front of Whiskers & Wine Cat Cafe during the Taste of Adams, I grabbed two drinks from the coffee shop across the street - Dia Del Cafe. I had their coffee several times, I quite like this place. This time, I tried a new one - Mazapan Coffee, it is so good, it really reminds me of their peanut candy, super nice, it has peanut pieces inside. I also tried their signature horchata latte before, very nice as well. My husband had a cold brew, it's strong, bold and tasty! The staff is very friendly and the shop is cute.

Cute cafe! Love the decorations. It was a nice environment to work for a while waiting for my car's service to be done down the street. Coffee was pretty good. I look forward to trying the pastries next time

Passed by Dia Del Cafe a billion times, but finally sat down this week for a bit of lunch and work at this cool little Adams Avenue Cafe. Awesomely colorful, Mexican-themed and a chill place to get coffee and a panini. I had the La Tocineta, a stunningly flavorful Bacon, Egg and Cheese panini, and it was superb. Good vibes, great wi-fi and some quality indoor and outdoor seating here. Stop in if you're looking for a sweet neighborhood place to hang out on Adams.

On a mission to find great Mexican coffee this coffeehouse had delicious coffee and the BEST customer service. I have never felt so appreciated and welcomed. Located as a dual business the coffeehouse side has the cool cultural vibe we were looking for. My husband told the Barista his likes and he made him a special coffee fit to his liking. It wasn't his usual cafe de la olla but it was delicious. I definitely recommend this spot

Recently went with my friend as we were in the area and looking for a coffee place. This place looked cute (and it was!). I ordered the bacon panini which was good but in my own personal opinion, I felt that it had too much cheese. It was a bit overwhelming and felt too greasy/heavy. I also felt that it was lacking egg. It was very very thin. I ordered the iced horchata matcha as well, which was good but I did not taste the matcha at all really.

I tried one of their specialty lattes & was extremely sweet, also the barista wasn't friendly at all, so the environment wasn't welcoming.

Pulled up to Saigon Coffee and immediately felt like I was about to have a main character moment. Sun shining, cute vibe outside, and then BOOM... I see this Famous Banana situation on the menu like it was calling my name personally. Let me just say... this drink is NOT shy. She is bold. She is creamy. She is out here living her best dessert-coffee hybrid life. The banana foam on top? SO soft and sweet, like a little cloud that went to culinary school. The chocolate drizzle situation inside the cup? Dramatic. Gorgeous. Delicious chaos. Every sip was like a little layered surprise party. I literally caught myself pausing mid-sip like... "wait... is this actually real??" Also, the aesthetic? 10/10. Cute branding, cute cups, cute interior, even the banana on the sign is serving personality. And yes, I absolutely stood outside living my best iced coffee influencer moment because this drink DESERVED it. If you like coffee... get it. If you like dessert... get it. Bought a bag of their beans and it came with a free cup of drip or iced from that same bean. After browsing their selection of beans, I couldn't quite find the type of profile I like but there were a variety of profiles. I bought a bag for a gift for someone who might appreciate their shop style and profile. At the time of my visit there were no decaf beans available. Took advantage of taking the free iced coffee and was surprise of my sipping acceptwnc! RAW POWER - their mainstay coffee which has a profile of chocolate and orange. I had this as an iced coffee - straight up black with no added anything and I thought I'd hate it without anything but I enjoyed the ice coffee as black and plain. From here I could really taste the bean profile very clearly and indeed could find the chocolate and the orange, more the orange than the chocolate. I am not into acidity or tart when I take my lattes but I don't mind that orange flavor when I take an iced coffee. It was an inquiring taste! I'd like to come back and try their decaf beans with with a flavored latte or an iced coffee plain as possible.
