Once submitted, you receive a confirmation--everything is straightforward and makes securing a reservation quick and stress-free. Dropping Simba off was reassuring and genuinely positive. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and check-in was smooth and efficient. It was immediately clear that the staff are organized and truly care about each pet in their care. What really stood out was Simba's reaction--he happily ran straight over to a staff member, eager for attention and affection. Seeing him so comfortable and excited made all the difference. It was obvious that he felt relaxed and safe, as if he knew he was in good hands. Watching him settle in so naturally gave me complete confidence in leaving him there. While we were away, I reached out to Mindy to check in. She shared that Simba was doing great--eating well and enjoying playtime--and even sent a few photos. In every picture, Simba had the biggest smile, which said it all. Experiences like this truly make a difference. Mindy and her staff were so great about sending us photos of them 3 times while we were on the trip and putting us at ease that they were doing great. I can't say enough about this Pet Hotel. The photos show how much fun they were having and they came home calm, healthy and happy. The best part was when we were picking them up in the outside greeting area, our Gunner went back to their door and sat there because he wanted to go back in! I've never had an issue getting an appointment scheduled and she's honored every last minute appointment request from me within the same week usually. He hasn't been serviced by the other groomers but they're all so friendly and attentive to the pups they're tending to. Although Shelby is my go to, I'd trust them with him as well :)

My dog, Rue, is very shy and nervous, but the staff have truly gone above and beyond to help build her confidence and trust. I'm so grateful for all the care and patience they've shown her. I sent toys with our pup to make her feel more at home and I was pleasantly surprised when they couldn't find 2 of the toys right away because they had been washed and were still in the wash room! This wasn't my first time boarding at Farrington's. We boarded our dog prior to the puppy here several times and have always had a good experience. Their prices are fair and the staff friendly. I've also seen the kennels the dogs stay in which are clean, large and offer indoor and outdoor access.

He was brought back to me and I asked about the sores (they also said he rolled in his pee). The staff mentioned he was calm when checked on, but he clearly struggled at first. They don't have cameras and house a lot of dogs so I get it but I believe this facility is better suited to dogs who are comfortable with traditional kennel environments, rather than sensitive dogs who need extra support or supervision. He was very nervous when brought in so I assumed he'd be monitored and given extra love. He also didn't eat any of his food (including peanut butter Kong). In hindsight it feels very sink or swim... I honestly don't know what happened but I also felt the accountability was low and there was no follow up by phone or email to see how he is doing. The wounds are a little more than superficial - he would've had to be rubbing on the same spot (metal cyclone) for 30 mins minimum to 2 hours (from what I read). I saw other dogs being walked and there were staff there but I wish I would've seen this before trying MY dog, specifically, there. He rebounded quickly but I can't bring him back as I don't trust his safety and well-being are supported.
