Trouble. President's Day morning 2013...kitchen drain plugged. Called Diablo Rooter, they even answered the phone the first time. We had a plumbing emergency today, where all the sewage was backing up through the vent outside the house (yep, yuck!) Saw the excellent reviews for Diablo Rooter and called. Kevin answered immediately, quoted an excellent rate, and provided a 2 hour ETA. About 15 minutes later, Kevin calls back, stating he is unable to come, as the current job he is working will take much longer than anticipated. He turned over my call to his nephew Stefano, whom Kevin has trained and recommended thoroughly. Stefano arrived quickly, cleared out TWO blockages from both outside and inside the house, and charged the originally quoted, very reasonable price. They very quickly solved a literally crappy problem, and I would not hesitate to use either Diablo Rooter or Stefano's Rooter and Drain if such an emergency arises. Highly recommended! read more

We are in the process of purchasing a new washing machine. Yesterday it was to be delivered, however, when the deliverymen tried to turn off the faucet to the existing washer it was frozen. They said that we needed to call a plumber to fix the faucet before they could install the washer. I got on the phone and started calling plumbers in our area and every one of them couldn't come out for one to two weeks. Then I called Diablo Rooter and told Kevin about my problem. He said he, too, was booked, but since I lived nearby we was willing to come over at 7AM the next day if that would work for us. It did! I had a very positive experience the first time He changed my toilet without a problem. Gave us the best price for a toilet and installed it without a problem. He picked up the toilet, hauled it away without any drama or difficulty. Friendly, efficient, and respectful.
