Not run by the same people who own the other Diablo's restaurants in the area. No AC. Sodas coming from the Jones machine are warm and employees don't care. Employees don't put as much in your bowl as the other area locations. Dining room is dirty even though they are not busy. Is there manager here today? read more

Just left from the location. Apparently their card reader was down. You couldn't even purchase the food online....they had all ready made all the food instead of them just giving the food to us after waiting 20 minutes for them to try to process everything they just told us we couldn't have it and to leave so they just threw away good food. First time trying this one. It's basically the same as all of the other locations. Which is great... I love consistency! This time I tried a bowl without any rice. They should add quinoa to the menu! It had been awhile since I had visited Diablo's...years ago. I went for lunch at the Washington Road location and was impressed. Not only because of their fresh food and sauces but from the service I received. The two gentlemen behind the counter were exceptional. My order was prepared quickly with suggestions being made and their great attitudes really stepped the visit up a notch. My burrito was fantastic and the Jones soda selection on the drink station was an added treat. These guys enjoy their job and it shows in their attitudes and hospitality. Oh yeah neat patio too to check out Washington Road as you chill and enjoy the south of the border create your own meal. I must say it is refreshing to get great service. I'm vegetarian and new to town. While looking for some veggie friendly restaurants, I stumbled upon Diablo's and was Soo thankful! The burritos are FAATT and delicious. For only $8 I got a giant burrito and some chips and salsa. They don't charge extra for tofu (which is incredible and rare!), and the food there is just great. This is definitely a place I will be frequenting when I'm in the mood for some veggie friendly take out. read more

Always always ALWAYS check the bag on to go orders before leaving a restaurant to make sure they get your order correct. They didn't. Ordered a cheese quesadilla and got a child size beef burrito. Everyone else's order was correct & good. I changed my original rating of 1 star because it wasn't fair to rate so low just because my order was wrong. I was just hangry when I originally left it. It's called a quesadilla. It literally translates to CHEESE-dude. I shouldn't have to ask for more cheese 3 extra times just to get enough to melt in between the ingredients. Stop being so chintzy with one of your cheapest key ingredients. Definitely not ran the same as other Diablos in the CSRA. read more

Decent food like all the other Diablos, but very chintzy on their toppings and cheese. I asked for more cheese and they barely put any on. One side of my quesadilla was empty. The North Augusta location is way better. read more

I was very disappointed in my Diablos Washington Rd experience. We went in for an order Saturday and our food was so cold it wasn't edible. I'm not sure how long the meat had been sitting in the bins, but it definitely wasn't kept to a safe temp. No one's food in the four entrees we ordered was edible. I even had one steak taco where I guess the preparer realized he put ground beef on it by mistake, but rather than remake the taco, he just put steak on top of everything and served it. This will probably be my last time ordering food at the Washington Rd location. I recommend the owner have at least one adult running his/her restaurant in the future. (There were none present Saturday) Otherwise, I don't see this location staying open long. read more

Worst experience I've ever had in a restaurant. I travel 25 weeks a year and eat out all the time and have never been treated as poorly as I was here. Employee got aggravated when she forgot to give me something I paid for and actually cursed at me. I asked for a manager and she laughed and said she was the manager. . I cannot support any business that does not value their customers and appreciate us doing business with them. If this was the person that the owners of this establishment deemed the best fit then I certainly don't trust their judgment. My wife was with me at the time and works nearby, her fellow employees have also decided to boycott this restaurant. Money is tight all over right now and you should be appreciated when you decide to spend yours somewhere. DO NOT support businesses that do not support you! read more

I have been eating at Diablo's since it opened around the CSRA. it's been one of my favorite restaurant. Today I had a horrible experience at the one on Washington road in Augusta. I had placed my order, paid, and waited for my quesadilla to finish on the grill. When I got my basket, the extra sour cream that had been prepared was left off. I went back to the counter and asked if my sour cream was put off to the side or could I get another one. The lady couldn't hear me so I did my finger in the shape of the ramekin and repeated what I said. She got an attitude and mumbled in a hateful tone. I asked her if she was talking to me and she yelled yes to me. She then stated that all I had to do was ask for another one and I didn't have to throw my hands up at her. I explained that all I did was the shape so maybe it would help her understand what I was saying. She proceeded to continue yelling at me. When I asked for the manager, the lady that yelled at me stated she was the manager and that I could leave. I have NEVER in my life been so disrespected by a manager! I would recommend NOT eating at Diablos on Washington rd if LEAH is working!! Shameful!!!! read more

After arriving to the area and about 10hrs on the road I was famished. To be honest this place was my second option. My gut told me to try it and I don't regret it. Their bowl is a lot better in flavors than the one I always get at Chipotle's...and I'm a Chipotle's fan. Chips are included which makes it a better deal as well. I almost thought I walked into Moe's. Identical setup. It was actually very good. It seemed fresh and everything was flavorful. The salsa was really good. Not too hot and packed with flavor. They also have an entire selection of Jones soda on tap. That is just about the only thing that makes them stand out from places like Moe's. read more

The customer service here is awful, the young lady that helped me today rushed me through my entire order. I couldn't even tell her what i wanted in my bowl without her yelling "WHAT ELSE." I wanted half spicy chicken and half regular chicken, and she only put maybe 3-5 pieces of their small cut up spicy chicken in the bowl and puts the rest regular. I wanted extra bell peppers and onions and i guess They were running low so she puts the bare minimum in the bowl, didn't offer to get fresh veggies at all. Then she proceeds to mess my bowl up by putting ingredients that i didnt Ask for in there. No apology or anything. If you want to be rushed through your entire order, have barely any ingredients in your bowl then i suggest coming here. I called the store to speak with a manager who was very unprofessional, and did not offer any solution. Her exact words "I'm sorry I'll get on to her, have a good day." As someone who words in food and beverage I'm extremely disappointed in the lack of professionalism in this business. I will never go to a Diablos ever again. read more

I did the online ordering for pickup and when I went to pick up, found my order already sitting on the counter ready to go. Unfortunately, upon arriving home, (which is a very short drive) I found the food stone cold. I had even arrived nearly 10 minutes before the designated pickup time. How long had the food been sitting there? Do I want to know? When you have to reheat your own order you know it's time to go elsewhere. read more

Who really need customer's when Covid-19 is upon us...Obviously not this place.. you have a manager who has no care or concern for customer service..upon my arrival..I notice the manager and a employee were working on a online order..the crew member decided to assist me in making my order..this some how made the manager angry..(I saw how his demeanor changed and how he proceed to ask the employee, "what was he doing?")..I asked was something wrong..he proceeded to tell me that the online order was going to get cold and they were paying customers...I ask how he could assist the employee instead of watching him make the orders..he then proceeded to ask me (sarcastically),how would of I done things differently...Me and my family frequent this location a lot..never have I received lackluster service until today..the manager had no respect for his employees..let alone the customers...maybe he needs to be retrained on how to properly serve guest while dealing with a influx of customers...but again I was the only customer at the time..and five employees were on duty...in any case everyone else at the location where friendly...I even took the time to remind the manager to appreciate his employees and show some level of customer service with your paying customer!!! After a long day at work, the last thing I want is some attitude. I go into this Diablo's Southwest Grill being my first time and will NEVER GO BACK again. The employees were rude and snippy. If you do not care about customer service then this is the place for you. The food was wonderful but the people were just assholes. Keep in mind some of them were nice but the lady at the register who rung me out was not anything like that (Brittany was her name by the way). My coworkers and I just got off our shift and decided to go to Diablo's. My boss was nice enough to buy all of us lunch. While my food was still being prepared, Brittany was ringing him out for all of our meals. My coworker, being the nice gentleman he was, decided to not make my boss pay for anything more than he so generously did and bought a cup of queso. Directly behind him I commit the same purchase and after my transaction was complete, Brittany asks us, "Couldn't ya'll have just rung this out with that guy?" We reply, "Yeah we could have but we didn't want to make him pay for another thing." She says, "Well I mean it's not THAT much of a difference but whatever." She may be correct, but there was no line behind us, no pressing "Lunch rush", or anything of the sort. All this woman cared about was the clock and nothing else. Obviously she didn't care about serving PAYING customers, but just clocking out on time. Anyways, I decided to just ignore the rude comment she just said and sat down with the rest of my coworkers. We ate, talked, and had a good time. After about 30 minutes, we finished our plates and someone sent me up to go get more chips. I go up to the register, which THANK GOD Brittany was not at (she was in the back on her phone). One of the workers says "Hey he wants some more chips." The lady who was scooping chips at the time (I don't know her name) and I quote, "Yeah and I want a million dollars but we can't have everything we want." She grabbed the basket and handed it back to me filled with chips harshly. After this whole experience I was pretty pissed off. I didn't say anything to them, but hopefully one of them will read this and hire some nicer workers. DEFINITELY will NOT be coming back here again. read more
