They responded very quickly and had Alex D. at our house by 8:30 that evening, only about an hour after I contacted them. Alex was excellent. He found an issue that had somehow been missed by another HVAC company that had been performing routine annual inspections on our system. He was courteous, respectful, informative, and very genuine throughout the entire visit. He explained what he was seeing in a way that was easy to understand, answered all of our questions, and made sure we were comfortable before doing any work. Two word review: Honest, Responsive…read more This is my THIRD consecutive 5-star review for Rocklin Heating & Air. In the last 10 or so years in the area I've called RHA, one other place because they could get me to faster - had a bad experience, waited for RHA had an amazing experience, and decided they're going to be my ride-or-die for HVAC. I called them at 7am and by 11:30am their tech had fixed and tested everything and off to help someone else. Yesterday was the start of a heat wave and ... our AC unit quit on us. I called RHA as soon as they opened this morning at 7am, asked for Joe in particular, and they gave me a window between 10am and 12pm. Joe texted ahead of time at 10:30, diagnosed the blown capacitor, swapped it out, cleaned things up a bit, tested the coolant, answered a bunch of questions, and was on his way in just under an hour. The diagnostic was $129 and the capacitor was $186 today. By a complete and total coincidence, I had been running some experiments with home temperature sensors for the last week. You can literally see on these pictures exactly when the AC unit stopped working - and when RHA saved our bacon. The "other" place I called years ago only had a $79 diagnostic charge, but wanted to rip out and replace the entire HVAC system - and claimed we were taking our lives in our own hands by not getting it fixed with him immediately. Joe and RHA took care of everything for the diagnostic. Yeah, you can probably find someplace to charge you less for the diagnostic or maybe less for the part, but when your house is boiling hot / freezing cold, you want to be able to call on someone you can trust to help you out - and not take you for a ride.

This guy Leo don't know anything about the job he has. I had he come check my ac because no air was coming out my vents he tells me that my fan is blown out and Its a 500 dollar part I said OK let's get that done he come later in the day to install it this is June 16 2016 OK so now air is working just fine now skip to July 23 my ac is not working had another company come out to check it out because Leo was not available OK so this guy tells me the motor fan has blown out I said wow I just got it done June 16th he says u need to have Leo come out and honor this because I have a warranty on it. And FYI the only thing that was found wrong was the motor fan OK so skip to July 26 2016 today Leo comes out to honor the blown motor fan that he installed OK so he puts in the new motor fan now he's telling me that my mother board is blown out as well I asked if the old motor fan blew out the mother board he says no lol think about it if the motor fan is hooked up to the mother board and the fan blew out the yes its gonna affect the mother board which it did so why should I have to pay u 380 to get it fixed when the motor u put in is the reason its broke don't trust this company read more

I had this guy Leo come out to see what was wrong with my Ac so he Tell's me I need a new motor fan I said how much will that cost he told me. 480 I said OK he said I will be back later on to fix it he comes back and 45 mins later it's working thank you lord OK this was June 6 2016 now its July 20 2016 now my ac is out again so I call Leo he says he can't come out till the 26th so I call another company he comes and checks everything out and tells me that my motor fan has blown out the one I got from Leo now the guy checked everything only thing wrong was the motor fan this was Sunday the 24 OK now Leo comes today July 26 to so call honor the motor fan he put in that blown out now he's telling me that my mother board the whole system has blown out I asked him did the one u installed blow it out he says no I said well I just had a guy out here Sunday and nothing was wrong with it and I haven't been running ac because it doesn't work so how did it blow out lol don't trust this guy Leo he is very unprofessional and dishonest read more

Outstanding Professional Service, Fair Rates and Highly Recommended! We were awakened one night late last week to the screeching sound of what I thought was a dieing fan motor on our outdoor A/C unit. I booked an "emergency" repair appointment with a big name A/C contractor in the area... couldn't come out till late Tuesday afternoon when the outdoor temp is expected to top 105F. Telling my neighbor about the A/C problem, he says, "Hey, I know a guy who will fix your A/C quickly and treat you fairly." That guy turned out to be Leo, and he stopped by that evening to take a quick look at the problem on his way to a BBQ. Leo confirmed the fan problem, gave me a quote for the repair and annual maintenance, then told me he would be back Monday morning to do the work. Leo is very professional, thorough, and honest. I called today a Friday , it's 100 degrees for third day in a row, because my air conditioner went out. Leo gave me a two hour window and was here within the first hour. He and his partner were extremely polite and professional. They checked my air conditioner out, figured out the problem and were able to fix it while they were there. Leo and his partner took time to explain everything to me. They made it a point to show me the parts that they were replacing and explain what was wrong -even showing me how they did the diagnostic and what the readings were. I was very reluctant to call a business that I had not used before as every time I've had someone work on air conditioning they try to sell me a new one . Leo was honest and gave me a very good deal. Fantastic experience! Super happy with Leo and his son. My house had caught on fire and Leo Came to our rescue. Due to permits issue (no fault of Leo) and due to building platform to relocate the HVAC unit into attic space it took over 4 months to complete the AC job. He was very patient and never even once asked for advance payment or even rushed us. On the contrary he went with us few times to the City office to help us pull permit and even met with other contractors and send his own people to assist in framing and other work so we could complete our house.He referred to us awesome plumber Vasily and another contractor Roman. Leo and his team are personable and professional people. Leo took the time to show me each part that had to be replaced on my AC and explained why? He then when into the attic (and this was the week that Sacramento had 105 degree to 109 degree heat. (This was also the week when "cooling centers" were advertised because people were collapsing from heat exhaustion). He took photographs of some air tubing that needed to be replaced (which was only part of the reason that my AC wasn't throwing off any cool air to speak of), gave me advice on how to take care of my AC unit and filters and gave me far more "economical" costs than most of the AC companies. My home was still at 94 degrees at 9:00 at night before he came out almost immediately for repairs. An excellent business run by honest, reputable people. read more

I purchased a beat up fixer upper home in 2020 that needed a TON of work done. The home didn't have a central cooling or heating system (just some broken ACs hanging out the windows). Given all the work needed to be done I was on a tight budget. Leo came to the rescue and was able to accommodate with our budget. Dial Leo is amazing! My heater went out and they came out right away according to my work schedule. They reviewed my system and found the problem. They were very honest and clear as to what I needed and even went further to check if the parts needed were still under warrant. I received a call back early the next day with the great news that the parts were under warranty. They quickly made arrangements to get the parts and my heater was back and running within two days! They were very cordial and cleaned up after themselves. Leo came recommended by a friend. He has done 2 jobs for me and my wife. The first one was an investment property, he was affordable and did a great job. Last May he did a full system for us at our primary residence. He pulled the permits did all the paperwork and we passed with flying colors. Again, great job and a very reasonable price. These guys were fantastic. They came out and checked out our A/C. We ended up wanting to get a whole new unit. These guys scheduled time us shortly after their initial visit. When they schedule a time to show up, they arrive promptly. In total, it took them about 2 and a half hours to remove our old unit, install the new one, and run all of their tests to make sure we were back up and running. We have two HVAC units on our roof. Both went down at the height of summer. I said I want anoth tech to come out! so the owner James came out and said it was ground water! it wasn't ! I even had another HVAC. guy who said it was clogged and Thrasher foundation came out and said we need to address the AC! My home warranty sent another company for a second opinion and that's all screwed up because they're still looking at that first diagnosis! I sent the other company and Julian's heating and air a video of the water clearly leaking from the middle or top of the unit down into the bottom and flowing out on the floor! The second company said yes it's the air conditioner and I haven't heard from Julian's that video was sent to James the owner he has not responded. This is in Springfield Mo

He has helped with keeping a couple of old refrigerators working for years beyond their "better days". He's advised me on when to cave and purchase new ones and even gave advice on which direction to look when purchasing considering our needs. I have found him to be very prompt (mostly same day as call/text and often within a couple of hours.) This morning I texted him first thing (8:45am) and he called within a hour and was at our shop with the repair completed by 11:15am. I, as a small business owner am very very appreciative of having a pro like Dan who I have complete faith in his work. I just utilized this company through Old Republic Home Warranty. Dan's response time was insane. I…read moreliterally had just submitted my service fee to Old Republic when he called and was in area. His response time was literally within five minutes of me requesting the service. I had a Nest thermostat that was failing. Dan arrived and swapped it out with a standard Honeywell thermostat. I cannot be happier. I had nothing but issues with Wi-Fi dropping and voltage issues with the Nest 3rd generation. My experience was very positive, and I would use them again if and when needed.
