Called them up first to get a quote over the phone on replacing on my Samsung Note 4. I was told $190 ($50 less than 3 different shops had quoted me). Walked into the shop an hour later, they said it was going to take about an hour to fix the phone. I dropped my phone and a number they can reach me on when the phone was ready since I did not live close by. An hour later, instead of driving to get my phone, I called them and they said it should be ready in another 30 minutes as they haven't finished working on it, No big deal, I can wait another 30 minutes but please call me when it's ready. 30 minutes later, no call. Nevertheless, I drove to get my phone and it was ready when I got there. The phone looked like new and I was happy with the results. Great service and would have been 5 stars if they followed through on their promise to call when my phone was ready. read more

You told me I could order a motor for $65, which is printed on my receipt as proof; it was never offered "at [y]our cost." Furthermore, of course I use the home button; who doesn't?! When I was asked about the vibration, I thought you meant the full vibrate function of the phone (which I don't use), not the specific haptic function, which is required to use the home button. I would have never said, "No I don't use the home button." Common sense as phone specialists should've prompted you to clarify. "Instead of coming back to us, you decided to go to a different shop who charged you for a new screen even though it was unnecessary and replaced the haptic motor without telling you to correct the problem that we pointed out. This way, they made it seem like our screen was causing the problem." This response is both uninformed and paranoid. You have no idea what was said to me at the other business. Firstly, do you honestly believe another company gave me a free motor unbeknownst to me just to make your company look bad? Secondly, I was never made to purchase a new screen at all. In fact, they gave me a FREE diagnosis and stated that I could go back to you for a refund prior to screen installation. "I assure you that if you check with many other experienced technicians, they will point out that a screen would not cause a haptic feedback problem." The haptic feedback/home button functioned perfectly after the drop, even with the screen shattered. It wasn't until you replaced my screen that it was rendered useless. Tell me how this is not due to the screen or an error you made while fixing my phone? A quick Google search will reveal that a cheap screen replacement can impact other functions of the phone. But you blamed it on a bad motor. Your response reinforces the unprofessionalism and untrustworthiness of your company. ____ I wish I hadn't hastily gone to the first iPhone repair shop at the end of my work day. I dropped my phone and needed the screen replaced. I went to this business out of pure convenience as it was nearing 8pm and they were still open. Upon replacing my screen, my home button was rendered useless. I was told that the haptic motor was damaged by the drop and then a few minutes later corroded due to water damage and it would need to be replaced for $65. At this point, it's after 8pm and I quickly pay deciding to deal with the home button later (turned on assistive touch). After leaving, I recalled that my home button worked fine after the drop and has never been subject to water damage. Fast forward to today when I have time to research and visit a new iPhone repair business (shout out to Hollywood Phone Repair). Prior to opening my phone I was told that Dialnet might have issued a cheap aftermarket screen that isn't compatible with the home button. Sure enough, when he tested a new quality screen, my home button worked fine! And he showed me that there was no water damage or corrosion to the haptic motor, which means I was blatantly lied to by the service person at Dialnet. I returned to the store with the screen they installed and requested a refund since A. the screen rendered my home button useless and B. I was lied to about needing a new motor for $65 (which is printed on my receipt as proof). The manager refused to refund my money, continued to lie stating they "cleaned the corrosion" for me. News flash. Evidence of corrosion or not, my home button is working fine without replacement of the haptic motor so that was never needed. Lie. He also said they showed me the phone during replacement of the screen. Another lie unless he's recalling a different customer. I was never shown the inside of my phone. I was asked to enter my password and that is it. And again, it's irrelevant whether or not I saw the phone because AGAIN the motor works fine with the proper screen installed. Then the manager has the audacity to ask me, "Why didn't you come back under the 30 day warranty?" Come back? The home button wasn't working when I left the store. It's not like it was working and then became defective several days later to inspect under warranty. It didn't work and I was told to order a haptic motor. There was NO mention that the screen could be creating the issue. Therefore, I obtained a second opinion and was told it's the cheap screen. The proof is in the pudding. Replaced the screen and BOOM my home button works. Deplorable business practice to blatantly lie to customers and then to refuse a refund when confronted with the issue. I would steer clear of this business. I went to Hollywood Phone Repair and had several possibilities explained to me prior to even opening my phone. The diagnosis was correct and I walked away with a perfectly operating home button - no new motor needed. read more

Quick service. Did the job (cracked iPad screen). Nicer than they had to be. Reasonable price -- 1/3 of what Apple would have charged as my warranty was up. I trusted them and would go back. Update: 8/4, Sadly, I do question the quality of the screen. It was peeling up from one corner after I picked it up, but I decided it was OK to use.
