Sean knows more about BlackBerry phones than any living person. He rescued my BlackBerry Passport from disaster when, because of some stupid change, it would no longer connect to the server. AT&T could not help. The Geek Squad at Best Buy could not help. But Sean knew exactly what to do, he did it and he even showed me how to restore my notifications for three different emails. !!!!ATTENTION!!!! I was referred to this place from an AT&T store particularly to Peter. Peter first said it would cost $60 to unlock my phone. He said he'll call when once it's done( usually takes 2 days he said) I called him 3 later. he said it didn't work, also he said he'll try to submit a request to unlock my phone again and will call me back in 2 days. I called him 4 days later. He said it didn't work and that I need to pay $50 more dollars and then it will definitely 100% work. I had no choice, it's already been a week !!!! I had tickets on a plane. So I tell him that I am going to call the guy from AT&T store and complain because I paid a full price for the phone and he assured me that I would have no problem unlocking it. Peter said do not call I already talked to him and you just don't want to pay more money for my service. It actually costs $150 and I'm doing you a favor. He started screaming at me.... so I was all upset and asked my husband to call him. Peter offered my husband a special deal, he said just pay $20 more and I'll do it. We did. He said it will take 4 more days to unlock the phone. Next day I went to AT&T asked the sales man who sold me the phone if Peter called him, he said he never spoke to him over the phone and that Peter doesn't even have his phone number. Salesman from AT&T was surprised that Peter couldn't unlock the phone and he was also surprised how much Peter was charging us for the phone. So AT&T guy decided to call Peter himself and demand the refund since he was the one who referred us to him. Peter said the phone was unlocked right then and there. Unlocked ??? Didn't he say it would take 4 more days ???? So I got ripped $30 waisted, but more importantly my time was waited. Even worst when I went back to complete the process of unlocking the phone Peter asked me if I went to AT&T and he said he didn't expect that from me ? What???? He's out of his mind !!!!! I didn't want to argue with that liar scumbag and waste more of my time. I lost time and money but not my self respect and didn't go down to his level. So I warn everyone please do not use these guys !!!! They are not decent people and their company and store should be closed !!!!!! read more

My phone was a horror show. The entire screen was cracked and discolored. It was totally unusable. I walked into the store and they were awesome. They fixed my phone in minutes for way less than what Apple would have charged me. Also I didn't have to go to Apple, which we all know is as fun as rush hour traffic on the 405. The guy I talked to on the phone was knowledgeable and up front about the costs and lead time of the parts for my Samsung Galaxy S2 (~$200 and 2 day wait) and he gave me the option of using a used but slightly cracked LCD screen/digitizer for half the price of a new one and doing it that day. He also explained why it's a good idea to get insurance on certain smart phones like iPhones and Samsung Galaxy. It was still pricey for a used and damaged part but well worth the immediate job and cheaper cost overall. They were accommodating and quick, accomplishing it in the hour they said it would take. read more

I am glad there are quite a few positive reviews on here you would think they were amazing in customer service, but my experience was different. I was sent to them to get a battery for my Blackberry. I paid them and almost one month after I got it the battery started to act up again. When I brought it back to them with my receipt they told me they would do me a favor and order a new one but it would take three days, I asked it it can be possible to get it quicker and they started giving me a hard time. They said that they did me a favor the first time and did not make money from me. They also told me that they cannot rush anything or have it sent over night because it was coming from a small company and they could not to anything. Then I was told that I was giving them a bad time and that I was ruining their day. Also when I showed them the battery I was asked in a sarcastic tone" is this really the battery that I bought from them or was it the old battery from before". I walked out. I work in a job that deals with customer service and the public and we would be fired if we ever acted that we are doing a customer a favor and they should be happy regardless of it's out come. read more

I am visiting L.A. from Vancouver, B.C. CANADA and yesterday, just by chance happened upon Dialnet. What a find! I've tried to hold out on purchasing a replacement battery for my iPhone 6. The original battery was charging, but not keeping it's charge. Carrying a battery pack and charging in the car was extremely cumbersome. Hopped into Dialnet and was greeted by an extremely courteous and polite young man. Within minutes I had a new battery, all charged and ready to go. Price was excellent too! I broke my wife's new iPad 3 touch screen and was in the doghouse. My friend who works for a music company told me they send all their broken iPhones and iPads here. I woke up one morning and the screen was black on my Galaxy S8+ that i had just paid off. I took it to Best Buy and they didn't know what to do and recommended i either get a new phone or go to their ONE store that could help me... in Torrance. Then they recommended i go to Dialnet... they diagnosed it for free and for $90 Dialnet repaired the mechanical problem and saved me from having to buy a new phone! I didn't feel any pressure and everyone was very friendly. Unfortunately, (probably due to a faulty charger) the same thing happened a few weeks later, so i took it back to Dialnet-- they fixed it again but gave me almost 1/3 off the cost since it was a repeat service. I did end up getting a new phone (thanks, Samsung) but Dialnet saved the day so that i could get all my info off my old one, and i actually am still using my old phone as a backup device. I appreciated their honesty-- about what needed to be fixed, the cost, and how long it would take (usually about an hour). I recommend and would go back again-- and I live in the Valley. Not only did he solve my complicated cell phone problem, but every other person I saw walk out of the store while I was waiting was so satisfied and happy about their fixed phones. I just got my iPhone 3G fixed, and am really happy with the service and everything. My LCD panel and screen needed to be changed, and since somebody referred me to Dialnet, Peter okayed my phone to be fixed for only $59! The staff was friendly too, and the whole thing only took 1 hour. Parking was fine (I parked in the neighborhood on Sierra Bonita -- free 2hr parking), and the location is great -- on Melrose, so I went window shopping and had lunch while my phone was being fixed. Other places quoted me $80 and $90 to fix my phone. I will definitely be going back to Dialnet for my iPhone needs! I don't write reviews often because of my busy schedule but I don't mind taking the time when a product/service really stand out (either good or bad), which is why I am writing this. I have been dealing with Sean at DialNet for a couple of years. During that time he has replaced my camera, battery, and keyboard on my Blackberry Classic (yes - I still use a Blackberry for business). I recently had my keyboard replaced with Sean and the first replacement he received was defective (which clearly wasn't his fault). So he took the keyboard off another old phone he had in his store to provide me with a temporary solution while he ordered me another one. I then came back 2 days later when he received the replacement part and he swapped in the new keyboard and took back the one I borrowed. That's just one example of my very positive experiences with Sean. An added bonus is that they have WiFi that customers can use while waiting. So I brought my laptop with me and did work while I Sean fixed my phone. I don't know how their prices compare to others, as I have never shopped around, but in my experience their quick turnaround and high service level make DialNet my go-to place when either my phone or my wife's phone has any trouble. read more
