I've came to this specific location over 5 times, never had a dirty room nor a bad experience and it seems like the customer service gets better. The guy at the front always super nice upgraded my room the first time I came here and always gave me a good experience checking in and checking out and with any little issue I had. But big props to the guy at the front he's always on top of things. And does a great job! read more

Very clean. Recently remodeled. The shower was my favorite. LOL. Continental breakfast in the morning. Free WiFi and I think it was direct TV. Prices are what you expect, spent a total of $340 including taxes for a Friday and Saturday night. Downtown L.A. is 15 minutes away. read more

Update: the Diamond Bell Suite did not give us a full refund which was so unfair and unbelievable. We talked to the man at 2 in the morning at the front lobby that night when we left due to bed bug infestation and he said he was going to give us our money back. Turns out they're making us pay for that whole night (almost 100$) when we only stayed there no more than 3 hours. So fucking unfair. Oh by the way here are at the pictures of that night when I got bit. Unbelievable. Just unbelievable. This place doesnt even deserve 1 star to be fucking honest. read more

This place was pretty great. i booked this place thru hotels.com and everything went smoothly. The inn is surrounded by other inns on a busy street but it was pretty easy to find. The parking lot was easy to get into with lots of open spaces. The rooms look like little town homes, which I like :) The man at the check in counter was super nice and polite. He made conversation with my boyfriend and me it was chill. We had to wait a bit to be helped but we didn't mind, I think he was helping the guests before us get settled in to their room, or just helping them find the room. After talking with us, idk why, but we got upgraded to a king instead of a queen suite! yes! If that's not great customer service idk what is. When we finally got our room, it was so nice! It didn't have any hint of lingering ciggarette smell in the air. The bathroom was well kept, and the clean. The coolest thing about the room was the soft changing light right above our bed :D If you don't like it, there's a switch to turn it off. For the price we got online, it was pretty worth it- about $84(?) and the place came with a clean microwave in the room and a mini fridge. It was a pretty great experience overall and my boyfriend and I would definitely love to stay here again. I also would reccomend this place to others :) read more

Amazing experience. Everyone that was at the lobby the times I stepped in (Check in and check out time) were extremely nice and welcoming and it all felt very genuine. The room itself was great! It was clean, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom was well kept. Overall a very nice room. Its not what you would expect given the city in which the hotel is situated in, but it was great. Pros: clean. Relatively cheap. Cons: The amount of air freshener in the wall AC is so much that not only does it make me nauseous and even all of my clothes have the same smell for weeks. The hotel is under flight path, expect a flight every five minutes. The fire alarm flashes green light every once a while, very annoying, especially when you are falling in sleep. The toilet seat feels like it is going to fall off any minute. The wall is not well insulated, I can hear the neighbor snore and it's phone vibrate/ring. The WiFi is unreliable especially for PC. read more

Tried staying here on early Friday morning. Worker at lobby stated that he would have to charge me extra for the the early check in. I said that would be ok. Came to the window and told me it would be the weekend rate of 150 plus 30 for early check in and on top of all that he wanted 50 for deposit. I said that crazy this is not Hilton! I was in the area on business for 2 nights. Being a budget traveler I usually stay in lower cost hotels which never surprise me with their noise levels, poor cleanliness and overall lack luster feel. Diamond bell inn was different. Room was large, clean, updated and well appointed. Above this the staff seemed to be fully en gaged with making sure their guests are well taken care of. I had some wifi connectivity issues(my issue not the hotel) and the front office not only brought me a LAN wire but went on to actually fix the wifi issue I was having. Above and beyond. I had some business docs too I had to print and I called the front office and they were happy to help. Thank you diamond bell for your hospitality. Clean room and bath. Everything looks new: carpet, tile, shower, paint and furniture. I never noticed street noise other reviewers mentioned. Registration was helpful and gave me a great nearby recommendation when I asked for a nearby electronics store. It's not fancy. But it is very clean, newly remodeled, and comfortable. Diamond Bell is a great value/quality ratio hotel. The hotel people were nice and the rooms are new and clean. I was worried about the neighborhood, but it is safe, there is a hotel security all night guarding the hotel. The breakfast could be improved, but it gets you through the morning. Staff was friendly and for the most part the room was clean. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5. -Walls were dirty. (handprints, lipstick, paint, water stains etc. on almost every wall in the room) -The cover on the bed was stained. The bottom blanket, sheets and pillow were clean. -Few stains on the carpet. Despite the minor issues, we enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay again. The hotel was central and our drive to anywhere was 15-30 minutes. read more

Called the hotel immediately to change to the right date and they would not refund my money or change the reservation. Super friendly staff. Let us check in a little early cause our room was ready already to drop off our bags. Met all our accommodations. Room was clean. Had HBO and showtimes which was nice. The jetted Tub a little small but it did the job. Area seems a little sketch. But it seemed like they had security on grounds and night which was reassuring. Great bang for buck. good service. they really caught me off guard with the tidiness, service, & continental breakfast, considering the area, I really thought I was getting what I was paying for.......but I really enjoyed my stay. The bungalows were pretty spaced out and towards the back, away from the immediate traffic nearby. That really made me feel comfortable and more at home. Beds were clean and fresh, and my room was very comfortable. Loved it here. I'd definitely keep this motel in mind next time I'm looking. read more

Management here is pathetic. The guy at the front lobby was absolutely no help. First, you're not allowed to check in anytime before 3:00 pm, but most hotels let you check in early. But if you'd like to check in early, you can always pay the extra money lol. Not to mention that when my husband and I tried to check in, the lobby guy asked for our ID then proceeded to look over my husbands ID for about 5 minutes than called some guy for another 5 minutes, mentioning the name which was weird? When we questioned him about it, he said he was doing a random phone call to a friend but who does that ??? The guy acted weird and it seemed that our room hadn't been reserved at all even though it was already paid for. Honestly, we went through too much trouble with this place. The place was nice except for a few things we saw. The walls were a little dirty like they do not bother to wipe them down. It had a weird smell as soon as you walk in we got a non smoking room so it couldnt have been smoke but the restroom did have a heavy odor of cigarette. I also found a hair on the shower door that was not mine .The Jacuzzi tub had a couple of jets not working . The bed skirt had a couple stains as well as the carpet . I think if they focus more on cleanliness it would be a 5 star for me for sure the price is good for the room the beds are comfy and they have an overnight security on site. Its was a good stay besides those few things i would consider coming back if they fix those minor things read more

Wasnt the cleanest place ive stayed in. The sick had spots on it and because it was marble i thought it was a part of it but i wiped it down and the smudges disappeared. Although i asked for a smoking room the linen had cigarette burns in it and no ashtray or matches came with the room. the refrigerator was broken didnt keep a soda cold but the air worked great. Good thing i was only staying for a short business trip. read more

First I grew up in the "Bell" area so I can a sure you the area may give the appearance of it being sketchy but its not at all. I travel frequently to LA for business but stay in this area to visit family and found this "Inn" on yelp, the reviews were great for the most part and decided to stay here because its a floor level motel. I have arthritis on my knees so I fall easily and its safer to stay on the first floor. Well when I checked in the guy in the lobby was super friendly and worked fast to get my key. I got out the door and fell on my face because theres a very tiny step i didn't see nor were there any signs warning you to watch your step. Obviously he saw the incident because 1. It literally happened outside the door and I hit my car and it was LOUD and 2. He had cameras he was constantly watching pointed in that direction. He never came out to see what had happened or ANYTHING, which didn't bother me but did alert me that the staff here isn't really aware of what's going on, even if it literally happened in front of there faces. Got up and walked across to my room that was HOT as hell since it seemed the AC wasn't turned prior to our stay, room had a funny tolerable smell. Bed and sleeping area seemed clean but the bathroom wasn't but hey you get what you paid for. Rooms seemed to be remodeled, just one of the bathroom walls seemed to have a burn mark. FREE breakfast isn't worth it, milk, orange juice, nasty coffee and dollar store donuts and cereal. read more

This place was neat and clean, comfortable bed. My favorite part was the shower and my boyfriend's was the cable/ satellite TV service. Good verity of channel selections on a flat screen TV. Pretends to be nice but hates working there , I experienced a bad service from this specific individual who got even upset that I reported him due to bad service , they try to upgrade you to king bed just for you to give them good ratings but reality they have dirty walls , hairs on bed and even bug beds , some rooms smell like weed and cigarette I would stay away from this hotel rather go to any motel than going there check out the photos on here you'll see how think place isn't rated 5 but one star. This small hotel was very pleasant and clean. We had a double queen room with a coffee maker, as well as a good sized mini-fridge and microwave. There was a small table and 2 chairs to sit and eat. The beds were very comfortable (I have back problems and was able to sleep very well). Lots of TV choices and free WiFi. "Continental" breakfast (bagels, cereal, oatmeal, fruit) was included. Each unit had its own parking space at the door, very convenient. Took off 1 star because the room could use a paint job and the shower was a "rain head" in the middle of the space which is a problem when you don't want to get your hair wet. Will definitely stay here when I am back in Bells Gardens next quarter. read more

I have stayed at this Inn several times and enjoyed my stay, until today! My husband and I come here at least once or twice a month to relax in one of the Jacuzzi rooms. I always book the room through Expedia come in show exactly the same card that I always use with no issues. I have never came here and been treated so terribly upon check-in. The desk clerk / owner that was on duty on 4/13/ 2018 was horrible and disrespectful he acted as if he had a bias against my husband and I. He initially refused to take the debit card that I always use, he gave it back. I gave him a bank card and then when he requested another I was confused, he said we don't take these types of cards. I paid for my room and I've checked into this room many times with the same card why am I having an issue. This clerk watched my husband and I get out the car and then went into the office and helped us with a preconceived bias towards us and I can really honestly say I will never be back to this hotel again... terrible experience horrible service and customer service! read more

I know I can't smoke in my room so I asked the one that was checking me in , I specifically said " do you mind me smoking weed outside ( near the parking lot & trash) no where near others rooms & he SAID IT WAS OK . I smoked 2 blunts , then by my 3rd blunt it was half way done when ANOTHER man comes so rude & says " no no stop that you can't smoke that here , now turn that off go to your room & don't come back out & if the sensor goes off you will be leaving tonight " & I was like hold on , but that other guy I even asked him & he says " well no that guy is dumb go to your room & don't come back out " I will RESPECT you if you don't like that smell I will leave I 100% understand not everyone likes the smell, but for him to even be there when I checked I'm & over hear me ask the man & hear him say it was okay , then later on threaten to kick me out & tell me to go to my room & not come back out ??? This hotel had everything that we needed. It was very convenient, good area where we weren't too far from anywhere. What really impressed me was that they had excellent customer service. Everyday we were attended if we needed more towels and any other necessities. The price was really great too for the amount of nights we stayed. If I'm ever back in town I plan on staying here. read more
