Worst company I've ever dealt with. See the texts and photos. ​I booked this team for a deep cleaning at my in-laws place and it went very well so I booked for biweekly cleans. They show up and immediately ask to use our vacuum because theirs is broken. Fine, but it's a cordless stick vacuum so not enough charge for even 1/3 of the house. Everything goes well but 2 hours in and they haven't finished vacuuming the upstairs or the stairs. They finish up everything else within time and point to my vacuum and where they plugged the charger in indicating the vacuuming isn't dime. Everything else was fine which I told them that. Then the person texting me sends me an invoice on Venmo asking for the full amount. I say it wasn't all dine because they didn't vacuum half the house. They proceed to accuse me of lying and after insisting offers me a $30 discount. Fine. I'm putting my kids to bed so when I get back to read the texts I got, they're being snotty with me about "don't tell my employees something is fine when it's not." So I say no we are dine. Jose and his partner cleaned 1st time, they did a great job and charged $140. When i hired him today 2nd time, he instead send 2 of his workers, who confirmed with me that it will take 2 hours. Jose then tells me that this time he will not charge me $140 and instead it has to be $220 (This is for a 500 sq ft condo with hardwood except for a small rug) . I understand prices change but he should have told me the new price before the cleaning started and not after I left the building. I agreed to pay his new price but no cleaning was performed. See photos below. When I called sharing the pictures with him, he wanted me to pay $100 extra and wanted to charge me to come back just to clean the couch and a small rug. He also wanted more for individual appliance cleaning, all this while being rude and threating to take me to collections with a recurring $50 month fee that his collections agency would come after me for. I hate to leave negative reviews but really....I can't say many good things about this cleaning experience that we recently had with this company. After they left, a toilet was seriously clogged and we couldn't fix it using normal unclogging tools. Cabinet doors are scratched (see the image attached). The business owner denied that the scratches were caused by them and said a towel could not have done that much damage to the cabinet, and that the scratches could have already been there which were uncovered after the cleaning. But as the home owner I clearly know that the scratches were newly added during the cleaning, and as you can see in the picture, they are clearly done by a piece of cloth/towel. Then the next day we found out that all the stove tops kept clicking after being ignited. We had to clean the igniters inside and found out that they were wet. At this point I wouldn't even be surprised if we found something else! To be fair, their price is very competitive and the two people they sent to our home were very nice. We did the professional sofa cleaning as well and it was done perfectly. But be aware that issues might pop up here and there. I initially put a request for deep clean quotes and Yelp sent 5 messages out to other cleaners (didn't realize that's how it worked and this was around 2304 hrs). Jose was the 1st to respond at 2309 hrs. I've never had a deep clean done so I'm not familiar with what the services entails, he estimated it would take 2.5 hrs. After messages on Yelp, Jose asked if Window wash, blinds, fridge, and oven needed to be cleaned. Of course I said yes, which moved the estimated time to 3.5 hrs. 1600 sq ft, 3 bedrooms, 2.5 bath. Shame on me, for not looking into reviews more thoroughly. As the 1 Star ratings seem to be similar experience I took time out of the office to be at home for the cleaning. 2 cleaners arrived at 1233, I gave them the tour of the house and they started in the upstairs bathroom, after they moved to the bedrooms. At 1517, Jose texted me and said the cleaners needed 4.5 hrs to complete, mind you they had completed the upstairs and the downstairs was remaining. Due to time constraints of picking up my son from the babysitter, I said 4 hrs. The 2 cleaners finished at 1650, prior to them leaving Jose asked to check the house for satisfaction. But due to time constraints I was only able to do a quick peak and took photos of immediate dissatisfaction. Areas not vacuumed (dust bunnies), around the bathroom sink, windows not washed. When I conversed via text with Jose he blamed "time is a factor to do a high quality job". He mentioned that he had to get the cleaners to complete a 5.5 hr job in 3.5 hrs. This excuse shouldn't have been used by Jose as the bathroom and bedrooms were 1st to be to cleaned, which is we're all the issues were. then anticipate a decline in production for the last areas. If you weren't tracking, notice the time discrepancies from start to finish. As an owner of this business, at least take the accountability of the cleaners that represent your company. Jose offered $70 for next cleaning but would be "Standard cleaning". I kindly declined due to "deep cleaning" that cost $400 would only leave me even more disappointed for a basic cleaning. I do appreciate Jose's attempt to make things right but as a homeowner relying on honest local business's for assistance, I would rather take a chance with another company to provide satisfactory service the 1st time around. I don't see it fair for a 1 star, as he was quick to respond so I'll leave it at a 2 star. read more

I have to say it really, really disheartens me when someone starts lying about the facts. Let me clarify a number of things here. I totally agree that I had 20 five star ratings, but the other 120 reviews were nowhere near the "low star rating" that was stated on the reply from the cleaning service. I said I haven't had a deep cleaning to my house in a few years. Nowhere is it stated in my review that I "have not cleaned my house for months." I vacuum twice a week and do a whole house cleaning every few weeks. Again, I live by myself and I don't have a lot of clutter in my home. I also don't know why the cleaning service felt it difficult to clean my showers since I clean the master shower every two weeks with Tilex and the shower in the basement is a one piece surround and isn't even used so it's spotless. The hardwood floors get mopped every 4 weeks. If you call being here 3 and 1/2 hours with two people struggling to clean my house on time, again, not the truth. My home is 2000 square feet and they didn't even have to clean one of the bedrooms. Friends and family say that they could practically eat off of my floors and I maintain a very clean home. Also, if they read the review right and as I also told the owner on the phone after my review, I didn't have five cleaning services clean my house. I had the cleaning services come over so I could have them see what my house was about and what the charge would be to do a deep cleaning. I'm only one person and this is not going to stop someone from using Sea Clean. But I pride myself with integrity and honesty, and I would not make something up in order to smear a company's name. The owner even told me that my review is not going to make a difference, of which I already know. That said, when you have someone replying to a review, you would hope that they would get their facts right and be honest. So disappointing to read this. read more

STAY AWAY FROM THIS BUSINESS! Check the other reviews, all 5 stars seem like they're from fake reviewers with very few other reviews. Sea clean is a rip off and their owner is criminal. After going over by a significant amount of time, they charged us an additional $150 over what was quoted. It ended up being...wait for it... $690 total to clean a 1900 sq foot house!!!! Wtf!!!! I mean, seriously Wtf!!!! When we complained, they offered to knock $40 off if we wrote a nice review for them which we refused. They did not call to confirm that the additional charges over what was quoted was ok and were over 3 hours late, coming at 4 and finishing at 9:30 in the evening! They did not apologize and we think the cleaning took longer because the poor workers were likely exhausted at that point. They said they had a team, but we found they charge $60 per worker per hour which was more than the electricians and painters we hired and came out to $120 an hour!!! When we confronted him, the owner was extremely sketch and rude when we told him we wouldn't take his $40 bribe for a good review. I'm moving in to a townhouse and the previous owner did not do a good job for the move out cleaning so I hired this team just to make myself happy with moving. The first thing I am complaining is they were late for 1.5 hours. I have a newborn to take care of and there is nothing in the new house yet. They gave me an estimate for 2 hours 2 workers with a ready to move in house and I only expect them cleaning kitchen and baths. They promised extra half hour because they were late. I was too eager to go back home nursing my baby so I agreed, thinking they would do a better job with more time. Turned out I was totally wrong. See attached pictures. I had to call them, asking them to come back again, which totally messed up my original schedule . They came, using some chemicals wiping, and told me they couldn't clean it thoroughly. Come on if that's what a processional cleaning company can do then why would I hire you! My husband and I needed a deep clean for our house in preparation for real estate photos. I was recently involved in an auto accident and have been completely unable to do any cleaning around my own house. Jose was very responsive and within a day we already had a booking scheduled, and he was able to accommodate our last minute request. The cleaners Nohemi and Claudia were incredibly thorough and went above and beyond expectations. They even styled the toilet paper in the bathroom so beautifully, and made our bed to look like a hotel room. I am very impressed with the efficiency, they had everything wrapped up within the estimated time and hit every single thing on our list. I requested bids for a deep clean of my house on Yelp and chose this one. He said "two crews for $80/hour." I expected to see four people, since surely "crew" means at least two people, but three people came. We also agreed that four hours would be sufficient, but they took four and a half. When I walked into my home the first thing I noticed was the smudges under the front window. My dog looks out the window and leaves smudges. They were not cleaned, and when I pointed it out, Jose told me "I charge extra for that." I then walked through the house. It was very obvious that they did not move any furniture to vacuum underneath. They did not even move a basket of blankets in the corner of my living room to vacuum behind it. They did not dust very well - the trim around my fireplace was untouched. The first thing I did in my bedroom was run my hand under the bedside table and pulled out a clump of pet hair. Again, for a deep clean I expect small pieces like a bedside table and coffee table to be moved and cleaned underneath. The corner of my bathroom floor had accumulated dirt and the bathroom door had hand prints from my children, which I would have expected to have been wiped down. The house just doesn't feel like it got a deep clean. There are several spots in my living room where it clearly was not touched with a vacuum, including under the coffee table, chairs, and a little cabinet that a vacuum can get under easily, let alone being mopped, which I expected it would be but clearly was not. I expected to pay $320 + taxes, but when all was said and done, he tried to charge me $380. After I pointed out some of the spots that hadn't been cleaned properly, he offered a $20 discount. Ultimately, the house is cleaner than I left it. I still need to go behind them and do more vacuuming, dusting, and wiping down surfaces. They did a good job in the kitchen, which I appreciate. They also did our sun room nicely. I paid him $320. But will not be calling again. I'll pay another company more to do a more thorough job. read more

We are used to having cleaning services in our home pretty regularly, but this was the first time we had one do such a deep cleaning as this. I'm pretty impressed by the effort they put into making sure they covered and cleaned a the surfaces. I spent most of the time in my room, and so I could see very well how professional they were. I was a little surprised that most of the rooms look pretty much the same, but once you look closer your realize they don't just ean around things, but they move items around to clean them and under them. For example, they moved the couches and armchairs so that they could vacuum under them. Since this was our first time with them, they also deep cleaned our windows, like all the windows. They also cleaned and wiped down our doors? Extensive and very nice. I'd recommend using them. read more

This was our second time using Sea Clean and yesterday we had a deep clean that took 4 hours. The cleaners did an AMAZING job and we are thrilled! They did a thorough and detailed cleaning including baseboards, windows/blinds, floor tiles and vacuumed every nook and cranny. They even got into that little space between the refrigerator and cabinet! Our home is sparkling clean and we have already booked our next cleaning. Jose is very responsive from inquiry to booking and reminder text day prior to another text when the cleaners were on the way. Jose said $120/hr with 2 cleaners , arrived with only 1 for a 2 bathroom and kitchen move in cleaning. He arrived and walked the space with his worker, said he was leaving for a Home depot run and will be back. Not until I asked him if the 2nd cleaner was coming did he say no. The 2nd cleaner had some sort of accident. His response was quick, but all over the place in our text communication. Our original appt was booked last minute for same day services at 2pm. He texted me at 2pm, to say it would need to be later at 4pm. I decided to cancel for the day and reschedule for the following day. Long story short, cleaning services were ok, It took 1.5 hrs to clean a small bathroom with shower and tub. Jose did refund me 1 of the 2 hrs I paid. And was cordial for the miscommunication. I paid $240 for 1 bathroom to he cleaned basically - outrageous! But ended up paying $120 at the end. I honestly have no clue what he is talking about but do have a text conversation that contradicts his above statements. The cleaners showed up 45 minutes to an hour late. Deep cleaning service was below par to say the least. Kitchen had the same amount of grease post cleaning, carpets not vacuumed. Some of the blinds were not wiped. I will not be calling them again. Service performed on 2/15. OMGeeee I am SO flipping impressed with my 1st cleaning!! I'm super picky about how I clean my apartment. My dad was in the military and from the South so he trained us to keep a place sparkling clean. I messaged Sea Clean on Wednesday December 22nd. They were here December 23rd with a crew of 4 to deep clean my 3 bdrm 2.5bath with pets home. They were here just over 3 hours and everything from the floors to the walls and baseboards was clean. I'm not sure my house has been this clean. Jose and his team were so polite and courteous.
