While the haircut was decent, I probably won't go back. First, it cost 50% more than I was quoted on the phone, which is enough to guarantee I never return. No one appreciates being misled. While the cut was ok, it wasn't anything special and it wasn't exactly what I asked for. The style I requested is one I've had multiple times before, so I know it's nothing unreasonable to expect. Lastly, my favorite part of going to the salon is the shampoo/conditioning. However, she rushed through it, pulling my hair roughly a few times and slopping water on me... not pleasant.

When I was getting my hair done I requested low lights (black) and highlights (blonde) and the color bleed together and I walked out of the salon grey trying not to cry until I got into my car, because I didn't want to make Stacey (my stylist at the time/ and owner) feel bad. I had to wait a week or two (can't remember) before I could get back in and I was mortified I had to go to work in a professional setting and conducting meeting with doctors with grey hair, and expecting them to take me seriously. I was 32 at the time and couldn't pull off the 60 year old silver fox, nor was I trying to. In June/ July of 2020 once the salons opened I couldn't get an appointment. I understood they were over booked and everyone wanted in but I was willing to wait, but no appointment date was offered, and I had to go somewhere else. Fast forward to this past month I made an appointment nearly 4 weeks in advanced for 1/22/21. I confirmed my appointment via text several times and then got cancelled on the day before (after requesting off from work). I was told only the afternoon clients were getting cancelled on, and I wanted to see if I could move my appointment up to the morning. The morning receptionist said she would see if it's possible and call me back. Hours went by and I never got a call back. When I called I was told the receptionist I spoke with went home for the day. The afternoon receptionist I was speaking with told me an earlier day appointment wouldn't be possible. I was asking for the next available appointment day or how soon I could get in, and she told me that Stacie was booked out over a month in advanced and it was so far out she wouldn't even give me a possible day to reschedule to after I had already waited 4 weeks. I was a customer for over 8-10 years and followed her from her old salon. I told the receptionist I wasn't going to come back, and I get they probably don't care, but I'm the third person that I know who has stopped going after years of being a loyal customer. I wasn't a "Karen," I was flexible, bought the recommended products, never complained, even offered to pay when she corrected my hair color, and always tipped well. After being treated poorly for the third time I left a poor review similar to this one on their Facebook page, so maybe the owner could rectify or address or even become aware of the situation. I was giving them the benefit of the doubt (maybe the owner didn't know the receptionist forgot to call me back). But to my surprise the owner publicly lied and told me that they did call me back. When I told her all I got was a cancellation text message and I called back twice all she had to say was that their customers where their top priority for their successful business and they did call me back ASAP. When I told her that her staff isn't being honest if they told her that she said she was sorry I'm unhappy. I asked her that I was just sharing my experiences and what if this had happened to a bride the day before her wedding? Instead of apologizing, or taking any accountability, or admitting this could have been handled better she said; thank you for the feedback, and have a great day. The owner might as well have publicly told me to go eff myself . (This was the cliff notes version) This is the most unprofessional place I have ever encountered. You're better off saving your time and money and walking into fantastic sams or great clips and will probably revive better treatment. If you don't mind waiting 4 weeks and possibly getting cancelled on by text or possibly not being to reschedule with no sincere apology for some blonde bleach highlights then go ahead and schedule an appointment by all means because apparently Stacie is a one trick pony and that's all she knows how to do. Overall I'm disappointed with the service and lack of concern of loyal customers.

Been going there for a few years now (as well as my two daughters and son) and had to cancel due to the fact that my husband has an appointment with a new radiologist for his STAGE 4 METASTATIC COLORECTAL CANCER at the same time as my hair appointment. He wanted me to go with him as his patient advocate and wife. I actually WALKED into the salon 16 hours PRIOR to (NOT THE DAY OF) my appointment to let them know IN PERSON that I needed to reschedule. (And, also mentioned to the receptionist, that my daughter was heading into the ER for possible kidney failure and didn't know if I would be needed for her the next day). No compassion about my situation, just said that this is their policy. I even asked if I could reschedule and put on a waitlist. As I tried to appeal, she treated me like she was doing me a favor by offering only 50% charge. I asked her if I had been in an accident and couldn't make my appointment if they would charge me. She said no. I asked if I could speak with a manager and there were none available. I mentioned that I was not a "repeat offender", and this was important to me to be there for my husband. She reluctantly said that JUST THIS ONCE they would not charge me. She definitely had the power to help me if she wanted to. And as I walked out the door close to tears, she replied with, "Have a good one!" I am not blaming this young women, but this is not the kind of salon I need. My 93 year old mother was a hair stylist and owner of a salon for over 40 years. Her clients were family to her. She attended many of her client's funerals over the year. It saddens me that this is how I was treated. I will look for a salon that treats me like a human being and understands all the highs and lows of life.
