Jose did an amazing job installing a Nema 14-50 outlet for my Tesla EV charger. I got multiple quotes and here's why I went with Diamond Force Electric. I am semi handy and have a little bit of knowledge of electrical and common household repairs. When talking with Jose over the phone I knew right away he was very knowledgeable when it came to EV chargers/ Electrical when he mentioned he will use Hubbell outlet if you do your research like I did you will know this is the go to outlet it is EV grade. There are tons brands of Nema 14-50 out there most companies will cheap out and use them since they are cheaper. What also stood out to me is Jose is not out here just trying to make a quick buck he will walk away if he feels it's not right. I originally wanted my outlet near my garage and wanted to use the subpanel in the garage other companies said yes it can be done but that would be overloading my subpanel. Jose took the time to explain everything to me and why that would not be a good idea and it was best to use my main panel. FOUND OUR ELECTRICIAN!!!! Jose is a very honest man. I called him for one thing, to replace one of the outlets with USB plug in our master bedroom that started heating up. He explained to me of what the cause was and when he replaced it, the outlet was burnt. This lead to me requesting to change the other outlet. I also had problems to my other bedroom and bathroom that I could not figure out why the electricity would just go out and will take forever to come back on. Jose traced the problem and found out that one of the wirings is lose. He also helped me with replacing the light socket in my garage. When Mr. Jose shows up to do an estimate, he tells me he has been doing electrical work for over 20 years and he got the encouragement to start his own business. We talked about my project which was adding several inside and outdoor outlets. He explained his process and told me the cost. Just listening to him break down the process so I understand gave me enough confidence to trust in his competency and skill. Project day comes around, he shows up on time. We walk the project locations again. Mr. Jose explains his sequence of events and what to expect in terms of function and appearance once each outlet is done. Him and his team laid out plastic painters tarp to keep the work area clean and orderly. Once each outlet was done they would vacuum and clean up the space. Mr. Jose would always keep me informed of what was going on especially if he needed to turn off the power to certain outlets. Once he was done, he walked me thru each outlet testing it to include the ones with GFE. All the work areas were clean. All the outlets were installed with a high degree of quality. Nutshell: The requested service was to remove and replace a ventilation fan/light system. Diamond Force Electric was Responsive, Professional and provided Superb Workmanship at a fair price. The Rest of the Story: The 32-year old ventilation fan/light in my laundry room needed to be replaced, and this lifelong "Do it yourselfer" was just the guy to do it. NOT! I ordered and received a modern replacement unit and was ready to go. First, I had to remove the old unit (uh-oh). I knew I was in trouble when, after 45-minutes, I was unable to remove the unit without ripping out my ceiling and causing other untold damage and destruction. Yelp to the rescue. I received a response from Jose S. (owner) 4-minutes after posting, telling me that he was busy that day but could do the job the following day. I replied that the following day was fine, but needed an estimate beforehand. That estimate was received 15-minutes later and an appointment was made for the next morning. Jose S. and his lovely wife arrived at my house at the scheduled time. Their first task was to lay down plastic to prevent dust and debris from be being strewn throughout the house. For the next hour I heard metal being sawed and occasional pounding (but no swearing!). The job was completed to perfection and I could not be happier with the results.
