Ive been coming here since around 2015. I moved in 2019 and hadn't been back due to the long distance and COVID. However, I just haven't found anyone that does pedicures as great as Lisa. I decided to make the drive because she's worth it! I have no regrets. Coming back in 2021 was such a sweet and amazing experience. My mom won't do pedicures anymore after a bad experience that left her with an ingrown nail. However, this was not a problem with Lisa. It's been almost a month now and now ingrown nail! My mom is very happy and we will happily drive any distance to get Lisa's services. I was also surprised to find Lisa still remembered me as I haven't seen her since 2019. She fondly recalled the many sets and pedicures I'd gotten over the years. Coming here has always been a great experience for me. The environment is very quiet and relaxing and the staff is kind. There's times Ive come in extremely exhausted and Kenny would put a pillow down for me if I stared dozing off. He'd even help me with my sandals if I got regular polish. Always very sweet and funny people. Needless to say, going to see them has been something I've always looked forward to and enjoyed. It was so sweet that Lisa recalled all those moments. Normally I wouldn't write a review because I don't care enough. But I came in here after spending probably a week looking for a new salon. I regularly go to a place in chino but since Tammy (my nail lady) is on maternity leave, i decided to try a new place. I saw all the reviews and it looked like it was either a hit or miss but to play it safe, I asked for Lisa (the salon owner). I got a gel full set with a pedicure and an added callous remover. First, Tina took great care of my pedicure and she even wanted to talk (which I loved considering I love to talk). Then I waited a couple minutes while Lisa finished up with someone else. (Keep in mind, they only have 2 people who do manicure/ hands so please be patient with them). Anyways, I was still iffy and very constructive, but Lisa was patient and she knew what I wanted. Lisa was super sweet and very genuine. And it wasn't too expensive! I only paid $71 for a gel full set with coffin shape and a pedicure with gel polish and callous remover. I am so disappointed in my service today, and the last couple of services for that matter. This will be my last time getting my nails done at Diamond Nails and Spa. The (lady owner) of the salon began doing my nails and was rather careless in her work. She applied blotches of acrylic on my nails and a large amount on my skin. She spent most of her time trying to remove it off my skin leaving all my fingers sore and I couldn't wait to get out of there. I've spent about an hour still trying to remove all the acrylic off my skin and still not done. Honestly I wish I could give them 0 stars, this place was so terrible!! First off I went in to just get my powder nails (Nexgen) taken off and just get a simple manicure. When the girl starting taking them off, instead of soaking she decided to clip and scrap my nails off, with a fake acrylic nail! Going in between my real and Nexgen nail, absolutely no acetone, just dry; incredibly painful! Now if you've ever had Nexgen you know that they soak them off to ensure it won't ruin the nail beds. So as she started going to town on my nails, I told her please to just soak them off, she gave me the excuse that it would take too long, but really she was just trying to do a fast and excuse my language, half ass job. I said about 5 times she was hurting me so then she proceeded with drilling them off with an extremely heavy hand. Then once that was over I noticed she ripped off pretty much all my nails. I should've ended the service here but thought well I'm already here mine as well let her finish.. bad idea!! She then started cleaning my nails with her tools and to my surprise she cut me and made me bleed on 2 of my fingers. After the worst manicure EVER, I was charged $20, such a waste of my time and money. I wish I would've just walked out, they didn't deserve one cent from me after what i was put through. Basically if your in the area don't ever go here, they have no idea what they're doing! I should've seen it as a red flag with how many bad reviews they have. I came here on the 13th of feb to witness Kenny arguing with other customers about his poor customer service. At the time I didn't know who was telling the truth... But now I know my Gel nail polish fell off in 8 days after spending $50!!! I have never had Gel polish fall off so fast and mind you I have been sick for the past couple days so I didn't do much but sleep.... So I went in today to get the fixed all Kenny wanted to do was argue with me that that's normal and gel doesn't last that long because he's been doing this for 21 years!!! Well I disagree and then he wanted to charge me for putting gel polish on my nails!!! I didn't pay a dime and had the fixed after much arguing in front of new customers!!! If I could give zero stars I would. Before you start reading, i give very detailed reviews. I had a horrible first experience at this place and will never be returning. Not sure of the names of the ladies that were working on me but all I can say is that they were more concerned about the walk-in's than the people they had sitting right in front of them. I requested a spa gel pedicure and gel full set. Young lady about 19 years of age almost over filled the spa that my feet were in (not paying attention) she then started looking at my acrylics and asked if I wanted to remove them since once had already fallen off. I said, "Sure." She then grabbed a new acrylic nail from her little plastic box and got right to it slicing in between my real nail and fake nail. I was very scared and it was painful. Let me tell you that these ladies have a very short attention span. Someone starts talking across the room--they have to turn and stare away as they continue to file your toe nail and get the skin raw around the nail. I lost count on how many times I had to pull away my foot from the lady because she was hurting me. A new customer walks in, phone rings--they have to turn and stare. So not only was I concerned about my toes but now the girl taking off my acrylics starts going under my REAL NAIL and lifting it off as if it was the acrylic!! I could not handle that so I pulled my hand away and checked to see what exactly she had done. I let her know that she hurt me and that I was bleeding and she just smiled at me??!!! Nothing was going right. The water for the spa was cold, my foot felt raw from the filing down of my skin that she had done due to not paying attention. They might as well have done my spa pedi outside in the street with the water hose. I had to apply pressure in some areas for the pain to semi go away, not cool, especially because all of this could have been avoided if they were paying attention to what they were doing and not concerned about the door, phone and other customers that were already being helped! When the girl was charging me she said it would be $5 for the removal fee of the acrylics, I told her, "Even though you made me bleed?" She literally smiled at me and proceeded to charge me full pop. Some places use the little drill to file down your acrylics when removing them, some soak the nails before the removal. This girl was careless. I am sure if I was a regular I would have gotten royal treatment. read more

Used to live right up the street from this salon and I fell in love with their work and refuse to go anywhere else for my Brazilian wax or even getting my nails done. Lisa and her husband are both amazing and hardworking people. On more than one occasion, they have stayed a bit longer than usual just so I can get my nails and wax done since I got off really late. Third the lady fixed my ingrown toenail with one cut. I would wash the glass more often and shelves for nail polish should be cleaned more often. it is very organized and clean unlike most nail salons. She did a good job on my FILL, cleaned up my nails and cuticles super good. Then when she was done, she brought out the gel (in which i never asked for) so i asked her how much for gel bc i only brought 25$ cash w me (they didn't accept card) since i knew i was only getting a fill. well the fill is 20$ and gel is 10$.... she was going to charge me 35$ in total so i told her no gel is fine and she got all mad and stormed up and threw the color options at me so i picked one and she only did one coat of paint and she okay "ok 25$" and i asked her to finish my nails and she said they're done. this morning I called around 10:45 am for a full set and pedicure. I was told to come in at 11:30 am and if I came earlier there would be a wait. I went in around 11:15am , I didn't mind the wait. Tina started my pedicure. Lisa did my full set, once Lisa got the nail done, I told her the shape I wanted and colors she said okay. before she apply the acrylic I asked her if she can make the nail more slanted(coffin) to match. she COMPLETELY ignored me. then I asked her if she can even out all my nails because they were not even at all, before she started applying the nail polish. She then rudely YELLED AT ME "you are picky, they are perfect. i don't see anything wrong with them." I told her that I was not going to paid for it because it was not what I wanted at all. Also she wanted me to file my own nails. If knew how to do my nail I would have done them myself! then she started yelling that she had been working on my nails for an 1 hour, it was barely 30 minutes. I am extremely disappointed in her. I have NEVER been treat in such a way especially at this nail salon. I will definitely go back tomorrow to get it fixed.
