I have a love/hate relationship with this shop. Both Wendy and Tammy have done my nails (acrylic fill/polish) and they do a great job. They're fast and prices are reasonable. The problem I have is the lack of cleanliness! It's disgusting! If it looks this bad on the surface, what goes on in the background? I'm new to the area, so still shopping around. Based on the reviews I went to this nail shop. I made an appointment with Wendy for a gel mani and she took me to her station as soon as I walked in. My usual nail shop removes gel the proper way with cotton balls,acetone, and foil paper. Wendy began to remove mine by shaving them down with the electronic machine they use for acrylics. I was mortified but I was already there. I should've told her to stop, but I didn't. The nail salon was pretty filthy. Their prices are great but I rather pay more and have a clean salon. She worked quickly but the job wasn't amazing or anything. It's decent she was very nice but it seems like quantity is more important than quality. If you're looking for a cheap decent job but a dirty nail salon this is your place. I rather pay a couple of more dollars or drive further for a better place. read more

I stopped going to Diamond for a while because the quality of work started to decline. Diamond Nails is good when they aren't busy. When they are busy, it's a rush, rush rush to get you out of the chair and get the next person in. The last time I went , my nails were done by Amy and she was excellent, this time they were done by Wendy and she was just okay. I honestly don't know why girls line up for her, there are other technicians that do a much better job. I would definitely be back, with an appointment, with Amy. read more

I have been going to Diamond Nails for quite some time now, it was really hard to leave my girls in Redlands. I absolutely love Wendy for my manicures, I just switched back to gel and my gel has been on for over 2 weeks and has not chipped at all. Wendy is amazing and works so hard. She is by far a real gem. I only have Wendy do my hands but anyone else I have had have been awesome for my pedicures. These girls deserve good tips! The best way to see Wendy is call and make an appointment. The customer service here is A plus. The shop gets very busy but they know how to move you in and out fast. Thank you Wendy for all of your hard work! FACIALS -- I'm not rating this place for it's nail service, but for Cindy, who does facials. If you're looking for a first rate, relaxing, and effective facial, then go see Cindy. She's only there Mon. - Fri. but said she stays late if needed. I used to see her for facials at another nail place, but she moved when they changed ownership. I live in OC and have been to several places for facials -- everything from Spa Gregories, to boutique service spas -- and Cindy offers equally if not better service, and at a more reasonable price -- worth the drive. This nail location could use a remodel and update, so don't expect a luxurious Zen like setting, but she does try to make the private facial room as comfortable as possible. Also, she is a very polite and quiet speaker, so it can be a little difficult to hear her clearly. read more

This review is for Wendy, who was so thorough and careful to make sure each and every nail was perfect. She asked me after every single thing she did if I was satisfied with my nails and if I needed her to change anything. I only waited 10 minutes upon arriving to my 12:00 am appointment. While waiting, she came over to ask what color I wanted. I showed her pictures and she came back with several different options for me to pick from. My only concern is that I heard her asking the other nail technicians in Vietnamese (which I understood) how much my nails were. It worried me that they didn't have a set price but at the end, it was $38. I'll definitely be coming back for my fill in three weeks! read more

Honestly just tell the truth about time and availability.. called at 530pm asked i would be able to have a fill and pedicure at the same time she said yes. I arrived at 545 asked again if I would get both services at the same time was told yes. Was seated in a pedicure chair at 615 about halfway through my pedicure I asked again about my nails was told it would be done after my feet. If I was told THE TRUTH upon arrival I would have left. At the end of my pedicure a woman came to do my nails she literally threw the towel in my lap. I firmly told her I did not want my nails done she yanked the towel off my lap and walked away. Its was completely unnecessary and rude. I understand they were busy but telling everyone 15 to 20 min just isn't true and it bad business. I have 1 day off a week I didn't have 2 hours to spare at the nail shop it's why I called and asked before arriving. I live 8 minutes away and just moved to riverside it is beyond disappointing because when I am treated properly and informed accurate information I am a loyal customer who comes every 2 weeks. This is by far the worse place I've gotten my nails done at the lady did my nails so lumpy there was literally pumps on my nails. My pedicure chipped the next day which is crazy because when I go to 4h nails and spa my nails last 4 weeks. I was still stunned by the bumps on my nails as she was starting to put the gel polish I asked her if she was going to fix them and she acted as she did not see it and ever after she "fixed it" it was still bumpy it was embarrassing the next day I went elsewhere to get my nails redone. I came to this place to get some acrylic nails removed and do a gel manicure. Tell me why the lady doing it was using a pointy nail filer to try and detach the acrylic nails from my nails? When she got to this nail she used so much force that's she ended up stabbing my nail, causing it to break, and now fallen off. It's like she was mad and irritated with having to take them off. Shouldn't she have just soaked them in acetone, filed the nails off, and not inserted a nail file to detach? Then I changed my mind on the gel nail polish because I knew I had to let them heal after this and they were still trying hard to convince me to get the gel! I know it's a business, you're trying to make money, and are trying to get a lot of nails done in a day. But maybe you should be more gentle with your customers! Now, I have to wait for my nails to heal before doing anything to them. I will definitely not come here again to get my nails done. read more

I've been going here since September 2017 when I moved from Jersey to here. I love the service I get! I started with just Jennifer as doing my nails but when she wasn't a available a few times I got comfortable with Wendy. They go above and beyond to fulfill my needs! They use plastic in the pedi tub which is a plus for me. They always open new tools and are very satisfying. They have hundreds of gel colors to choose from also!! Andy does bomb coffin and almond shape nails I've been going to him for years love him but the rest of them are rude, when you schedule an appointment the tech may not be there. Once I called an made appointment with Andy and when I got there he was on vacation I was livid and the girl who took my call had this stupid look on her face when I told her she lied to me. I'm both surprised yet not surprised that this place has such high ratings. I find myself going through a roller coaster of either really loving this place or just really hating it. Pros: -This place is pretty cheap honestly. Only 20 for a gel manicure when I usually pay 25+. Also 16 for a regular pedi is a steal. -I am usually always seen right away as a walk in customer (try to find a nail tech that you like, however, and stick to them; the techs are hit or miss and I hate leaving with a manicure and/or pedicure that I'm unsatisfied with...) -Open pretty late hours! I have gotten everything from a pedicure to just gel manicure to acrylics here. The first time I got a pedicure here I was really pleased. However, the second time I was displeased. My feet were left in water that eventually got cold because I had to wait so long to be seen (my feet were in the water for 30 minutes, I kid you not...) and the bubble/pressure aspect of it wasn't even working because the wrap kept getting sucked into the hole. No one addressed me, no one said sorry for the long wait, no one checked on me. I was pretty furious. To top it off, they didn't have the nail polish color that I always choose when I go there...? What REALLY prompted my review today was the acrylics I was pressured into getting. I normally don't get acrylics. I just don't like the feeling and it's not practical for my job. I came in to get my old acrylics off and simply just get a fresh gel manicure. The lady asked me if my set was new or old and I told her they were 3 weeks old. She told me to get a fill instead because they were too new and would damage my nails and possibly hurt. I reluctantly agreed. I proceeded to sit down, only to not even be greeted by the male tech. He just went to work on my nails. Didn't ask me what I wanted ONCE. Next thing I know, he's taking OFF my old acrylics when all I wanted was a fill!! (I actually didn't even want acrylics at all...) I didn't agree to a new set...To top it off, he was SO rough. It was not relaxing in any aspect which sucks cause I had gone in hopes to decompress from finals. He didn't make sure that the removal of my old acrylics didn't hurt me. He didn't ask me what shape. Not ONCE did he ask me how long. Even when he was shaping them, he didn't ask me if I liked the shape...The cherry on top was when he finally made me bleed because he was so rough. I know he saw it cause he avoided shaping that nail after. So unprofessional in my opinion. You've been warned. They WILL pressure you into getting something you didn't even want to get in the first place. Whether it's choosing a different color (I had a tech tell me my choice of red was ugly...a simple strawberry red...) or coming in wanting a simple manicure. i'm really bummed. this used to be my place.. i took a break for almost a year. finally decided to splurge on myself a little bit and get my nails and toes done.. for some reason i hate when they work on both at the same time, it wasn't even busy. second.. they did a terrible job. the paint job looks something i could do, i had to ask for them to touch it up.. i'm not usually one to complain but goodness i was upset. there were air bubbles in my polish. and my gel manicure looks all bumpy and lumpy.. grand total of $51 and i'm not happy. i work really hard for my money.. they could atleast try to make it look decent. read more

I decided to get my nails done on a Saturday (6/13), the day before my wedding. I had previously had a bad experience with gel nails, the last salon I went to did them so poorly that they peeled up by day 3 (and were $36 with tip). I decided to give them another try and after doing a Yelp search, found this place nearby. I had Michelle and she was amazing. She was so sweet and assured me that she would do my nails extra well to make sure they stayed on. Michelle told me to come back if they peeled up and she'd fix them at no cost to me. I loved the results and they did last almost 2 full weeks. I could have gone in to get them touched up, but I moved out of state 2 days after coming home from the honeymoon. Keep coming back cause its still good! Went on a Friday which meant it was packed but I barely waited 10 mins with no appointment! This time I upgraded my pedi to include the sea salt scrub which is $22 (you get a longer massage and I like how it makes my skin so soft) versus the basic pedicure $16. The gel mani is still $20 so no complaints. They use new tools for every customer (you will see them open sealed blue bags of tools) and they have liners for the spa pedicure. So why not 5 stars? second time getting my nails done here, acrylics first, and then 4 weeks later to take them off and get gel. My first visit was okay. It was later in the afternoon so they were busier and the lady kept telling me to "relax" my hand several times. She wasn't so great at speaking English though so it was a little hard to talk to her. My second experience was a lot better. I went in around 11am and was done a little less than an hour. This lady spoke English pretty well and she was a lot gentler and nicer in my opinion. Never told me once to "relax". Her name was Amy. So next time I go, I'll probably make an appointment with her first. Do not come here!! There service is horrible. Not only do they do a horrible job they try to charge you more when you ask them to fix something. I requested the callus removal pedicure and the lady barely did anything. I requested for my toe nails to be squared and she didn't do it. I asked again to square them up and told her they looked exactly the same from when I came in. She started cutting the sides and then told me it was going to be $25. I got upset and questioned the price when the callus pedicure states $22. She was charging me $3 more for requesting her to shape up my toe nails. She then painted them and you can see that she did not remove the cuticle whatsoever. I have gone to some pretty bad places but this places tops all of them. Mainly because they try to rip you off. Wendy is absolutely amazing! I got a full set of pink and white gel nails and requested a "milky pink." I thought she would think I was crazy but she completely understood me. Wendy custom mixed the pink powder until it was exactly what I wanted. Getting a full set can be time-consuming but Wendy was patient and really fun to talk to so the time flew by.
