My usual nail salon didn't have any availability for one week. Diamond nails came highly recommended so I thought we'd give them a shot. I called and asked if they had any appointments around 3:45pm and I was told yes! So my friend and I arrived for 3:45. We were greeted, but not instructed where to go or who would be helping us. We picked out our colors and were told to go to the two pedicure chairs in the corner. We sat our colors down on the side table. It wasn't until 4:10 when a girl helping another customer rudely said to me, "Let me move this so you don't knock it over and break it." 4:15 one person came over to start my friends pedicure- by this time our foot bath water was cold. We were offered water, asked for wine. The white wine served had to have been opened for weeks because it was BAD. No one ever came to help me- we decided to leave because we had already been there for 30+ mins and no one started our mani/pedi. People who walked in after us without appointments were started before us. 0/10 do NOT recommend. read more

I have had nothing but great experiences at Diamond. I usually go to Voo and he does an amazing job. He does a great job at making my nails look different, which I LOVE. I usually get nexgen and have never been disappointed. As far as the reviews of being unclean, I have to disagree. read more

The salon is more modern and very clean overall (aside from the restroom).. The polish selection was pretty good but there were a lot of older O.P.I polishes that had been thinned out. I'll bring my own color next time. The basic pedicure was relaxing and my feet feel amazing. My manicure was done while I sat in the pedicure chair, which can be a time saver if you're in a hurry, but I think it takes away some of the relaxation having to twist and turn awkwardly. Went in for Nexgen and requested the $35 pedicure w gel polish, exactly ONE week ago today. I had to tell them three times I didn't want tips on nails because my workplace (nurse) doesn't allow them. The dip/powder she used had some orange residue which stained my fingers and nailbeds for several days after. She said that soap and water would remove it...as a nurse I'm always washing my hands hundred times per day and it never came off! Yesterday the nexgen came completely off on both index fingers. Very very disappointing as I spent probably $30 more here than other salons.Your nails won't last at this place, horrible waste of money. This pic is from this am. Also, you can tell they're talking about you because when you don't agree with what they recommend that you have done (ex: adding tips) they start talking their language non stop right in front of you and they both speak English very well I might add. read more

The service was awful and the pedicure was not worth the money. The massage was a light rub and the nail tech was bending my arm and fingers every which way for his comfort. EXCELLENT! I've been getting mani/pedis here for a year now and I couldn't be happier with the service. Huy and his wife, Dana do an awesome job. I've gone to several techs here and have always left with great nails. Huy's brother also does the most intricate designs on the nails. I always leave happy! They know me by name and always make conversation. I usually get off late in the day and Huy always fits me in. All of the techs are very detailed with their work! I recently moved farther from the salon but still make the drive because the quality of work is so high....and the purple sparkly pedicure tubs are so cute. Way over priced for a mani and pedicure. Was not impressed! The 2 men that did my nails quickly, did the job, but I felt like I was on an assembly line. Horrible!! I came in with my nieces with an appointment. Once we walked in they asked us to pick a color. I could see from the color options they were old! We sat down and waited 20 minutes for someone to just turn on the water. Even longer for them to start. Once Helen started my pedi she left after 15 minutes to tend to another client. I noticed once she was done she didn't wash her hands! Totally unacceptable! She goes back and rushed through the pedicure. My niece who waited the longest finished her pedi before me how is that possible. So once Helen started applying the color we both noticed it was runny so I asked her to apply another coat to see if it will stick. It didn't. So I asked her to remove the polish and just apply clear. Oh she went off and yelled at me. I'm the paying customer! Never again. I let the manager know about the lack of cleanliness and cheapness of the polish she gave me $5. Regardless I was going to lay but this place isn't worth it and def not worth me paying $145 for 3 pedicures. Find somewhere else before you get a fungus! read more

I asked the nail tech to do the style as showed in the picture and she ended up not knowing how to do it correctly so she tried to convince me that they looked nice so she didn't have to fix it I advised her I didn't like it and said instead of the ombré to make it easier just do the whole nail ...moments later I saw a style I liked that she did on one nail I told her "yes do them like that " her response was " too late I can't fix your nail" I was so upset and i know Anne would never allow such terrible customer service I should have never paid for this because this is not what I intended to get !!!!!!! So disappointed. I am surprised by all the great reviews. Wanted to try a new place because my regular place is a bit pricey- MISTAKE- big mistake. The staff were constantly talking/ laughing loudly non- stop to each other creating a very noisy environment. I went there to relax! The gal that did my nails was obviously in a hurry - she finished my Nexgen in 35 minutes. And that was WITH interruptions from another male employee who sat down next to her to talk. He kept showing her pictures on his phone distracting her from the job she was being paid for. I couldn't believe it. I tried to give him the evil eye to get him to go away but he didn't get the hint. On top of it all he was either sick or eaten up with allergies - he was totally congested , sneezing and sniffing the entire time. SO gross. Lesson learned- you get what you pay for. Dana has been doing my nails for 4 years and I won't go anywhere else. Always happy when I leave. Everyone is very friendly, salon is clean, massage pedicure chairs are heaven and I usually fall asleep. Great menu of services. Reasonably priced and have a discount punch card for repeat customers. They don't care if you bring your own polish, so I can touch up my toes at home if necessary as I tend to slam my size 11 feet into everything, If you want a design, they are artists and very creative. Had a terrible experience. For $32.00, I don't expect to get shoved out of a chair so fast. The lady I had forgot to offer a drink, decided I needed a paraffin wax treatment and burned me, instead of the peppermint massage I thought I was getting, she also kept asking if I wanted an eyebrow wax, or manicure. This is a clean, very fancy type of place with tons of chairs. The staff was not personable at all and when my friend and i both requested the basic pedicure just to try it out... we were highly pressured to upgrade to the next level. When we kindly declined, another person came over to push us into it. We said no and had very short pedicures. definitely the fastest pedi i have ever had and did the absolute basic in the fastest way. basically this was a foot cleaning and polish... not even the things listed on the nail.menu! I have been a loyal customer for the past six years and always recommended this place to my friends and family but my experience this past Wednesday left me very upset and disappointed with the management. I came in the evening as I did not have a chance to make an appointment with the people I prefer and trust. I was assigned a new nail tech I have never seen before to do the Nextgen nails. While he was using the nail clipper, he clipped my whole nail and a huge chunk of my skin and I started bleeding. I was in awful pain the rest of my time there and the nails did not look professional or clean. I was still charged the full price of the service by management. It is two days later and I have a huge wound that is painful. I will not be back. I understand it was an accident but it left me very disappointed with the owners as they did not offer anything for my painful experience. read more

They do a horrible job and always have time to talk to each other in there language but no time to get you done. When some is on break they sit down with there shoes off talking and eating right next to where your getting your nails done. Very dissapointed about there unsanitary environment as well. I have been a customer at Diamond Nails, the Virginia Parkway location, since they opened. I get my nails filled (pink and white) and pedicures on a regular basis. In the beginning there were problems with scheduling and having to wait a long time for the technician even if you had an appointment with that person in particular. I did say something about that and it has gotten much better. The ladies that I had in the beginning were not there very long and the staff who has been there the last few years are great. I request Dana every time and if she is too busy to work me in, I ask for Ann. My nails always look perfect and they last a long time....never chip or break off. Dana or Cindy do my pedicures and both are excellent. The owner is friendly and attentive. The pedicure chairs are cleaned after each client. I think this is a great salon and have no complaints. read more

this is the worst place ever!!!!!!! i have been a client of diamond nails for 3 years or more. i have never experience such bad service in my life!!!!!!!!! i was in there on sunday had artived around 430. i usually get my nails done n eyebrows. they do a ok job but this time they rushed through my eyebrows i have burn marks all over my eyes and a popex blood vessle from the lack of dana taking her time. i called them the next day and i spoke with the owner and they told me they are unable to do refunds. are u fucking kidding me??????? they messed my face up so bad!!!! i do not reccomend this place to anyone they suck at there job!!!!!!!!!!! do not let dana do anything to u she will fuck it up!!!!!!! read more
