I asked DRR to provide us with a roof inspection. I called on them because they were fast and reliable when we needed a roof repair last year. Unfortunately, they didn't respond to the request for an inspection and instead sent us a salesman for solar panels. While we foresee a future need for solar panels, they are not in our budget right now. All we wanted was a roof inspection. While the salesman was very nice and friendly, he kept forgetting the purpose of our contacting DRR, and we didn't get the roof inspection. read more

Gui and the team help us replace part of the leaking roof in the rainy season. They were extremely responsive, and fast, which is very important to us because in this weather any delay can potentially cause more water damage to our house. They took almost a month to do repairs that should have taken 3 or 4 days to be completed. Not punctual at all! Every day a different crew would show up not knowing what to do, project managers and foreman never present. Some of the repairs had to be redone since crews were clueless on what to do. Workers tried to install shingles on rainy day. No security harnesses on a 4 story steep roof. They would show up with the wrong materials/ leftovers from other jobs. A repair recommended by the company to stop a leak was not necessary (the problem was the gutter). Used white mastic on a dark colored shingle roof. Job was finished a month later. On and On. the workers & project manager with diamond ridge worked quickly & efficiently to replace the roof on both my house & garage after my ~20yr old roof started leaking. there were some unexpected additional costs (when we discovered my roof had the original 100+yr old wood framing that needed replacing) but they were always willing to explain their recommendations and answer any questions about the process/materials & they were pretty communicative about schedule etc. cleanup could have been more thorough, but i know wood chip yards are hard to clean/sift through. the new roofs look & function great. read more

They spent quality time talking to my daughter and myself, giving us a breakdown of what they were proposing on doing. From the very onset of the project they gained our trust. Both Alex and Julian would inform me if there were going to be any setbacks, like getting the City inspector come by for permits , or if the specific shutter color was difficult to come by and gave me plenty of options to look at. I did not end up contracting with Diamond Ridge. This review is solely based on my experience with them coming out to give me an estimate. My appointment was at 10am on a Friday. Marcelo and his associate didn't end up leaving my house until 1pm. They were at my house for 3 LONG hours trying to sell me a roof and trying to get me to sign with them immediately. He ended up quoting me $35,000 for a reroof. He also tried to sell me another material to put down if I eventually want to get solar (an additional $4,000). He said it's an added protectant (I was told by other roofers I did not need that at all). After 3 hours, I tried to tell them I had to go walk my dog and I had another quote at 1pm. I was trying to get them out of the house. Marcelo ended up going on the walk with me so that he could call the financing company to talk to them about financing. I was literally trapped. I was then told that if I go with them and schedule it to be done the next day, they would knock the price down to $26,000. That's an insane price jump and a huge red flag. I was quoted by other companies between $15-$20k. I think because I am a single woman and they were my first quote, they wanted to try and take advantage of that. Run away from this company!!!! read more

Another reviewer (from January) spoke to the honesty of this company. I can vouch for the same. Felipe came out today (after we called yesterday, for an estimate), after we discovered them on Angi's list. He spent nearly an hour looking at our upper and lower roof, as we had discovered a water spot on our ground level ceiling. He was very thorough and looked in every place that he thought the roof might possibly admit water, but could not find places where the runoff (from chimney/walls of house) might admit a large enough amount of water that would cause the damage that we were seeing. Instead, he deduced that the evidence seems to be of a plumbing, not roofing issue. He thoroughly checked our roof exterior and told us that he felt the shingles/flashing/nails seemed in good shape for now, and though this type of roof should need replacement soon, he felt it would hold up another 2-3 years. He did not charge us for the estimate, did not try to sell us products we did not need, and could've easily found reason for us to spend money with a roofing company, as another has told us they thought the spotting was a "roof" problem, but I definitely feel confident that their professional opinion reflects honest dealings and when it IS time for us to replace the roof in a couple of years, we will definitely look to this company to work with! read more
