I thought I would try this spa as I was in the area. It was a very relaxing atmosphere. I love that their television sets were muted and "spa" like music was playing in the background. The technician was friendly and thorough, but unfortunately my gel manicure only lasted 4 days. A gel manicure at my regular salon lasts two plus weeks. This place is the best for manis and pedis. The staff is so friendly, the spa is immaculately clean and they give you a free mini massage while your nails are drying! They are meticulous at making sure their work is perfect and they always have the latest OPI colors. The spa pedicures are to die for and getting to watch the food network for an hour while sitting in their massage chairs is icing on the cake! Amazing staff, impeccable service. I have been going here for (almost) weekly manicures and the occasional massage for a couple of years. Everyone is welcoming, attentive and genuinely friendly. The prices are more than reasonable given the quality of the service. Diamond Spa uses high quality products and always has a wide selection of the newest colors from OPI and Essie. The nail technicians are never in a rush and have an excellent attention to detail and willingness to please. I have had consistently great massages with equally capable staff. The ambiance is relaxing but not boring (they have two televisions and plenty of magazines); I absolutely love that they do not permit cell phones, so you will never get stuck listening to someone else's phone conversation while trying to relax during your manicure. I do suggest making an appointment, especially on weekends, but this is very easy with one call to the accommodating staff. I recommend Diamond Spa to everyone I know - and to you! read more

The pedicure was great. It was my first time here so I got the basic for $40. It included a mini leg/foot massage along with hot stones. My only gripe is that I walked in without an appt and couldn't be taken until an hour and a half later. They should maybe consider it as an appt. only place if they're getting that busy and can't take walk-ins as advertised. Other than that the place is clean and comfortable. read more

I have been a regular Diamond Spa customer since they opening a few years ago. My partner and I have gone in for pedicures, facials and massages, and invariably, we have experienced nothing but timely and professional service. All technicians have been great! the spa pedicure I received was very relaxing and in depth. it definitely relaxed me. but I asked for a simple design with my polish and was told no. if I'm paying big bucks for a fancy pedicure, the technicians should be able to throw a few lines of design on there. read more

I treated myself to their Diamond Spa experience for my 30th birthday this year, and I must say, it was a GREAT birthday gift to me! I started off with the hour-long facial, which was perfect! It even included a chocolate mask, and coming from a girl who grew up in Hershey...it was better than the Spa at Hotel Hershey! Then I moved on to the hour Swedish massage. My masseur was fantastic - I've never felt so good after a massage! After that came the pedicure and manicure, both of which also included ANOTHER leg/back massage with hot stones!! Disappointing. I just got a pedicure here, and have to say that the experience was worth a good $15. But for an allegedly upscale experience and price ($40), the value was sub-par. The pedicure looks ok. Here are my complaints: 1) I specifically told Sally that I did not want the tops of my nails filed or buffed. She told me they wouldn't be as smooth, and I assured her I was fine with that. Then mid-way into the pedicure, I look down to see her buffing my nails. She saw me catch her, giggled and said she'd put it away. 2) I had to ask twice for magazines to read 3) There was no mini- back massage while waiting for the polish to dry, as cited in other reviews. 4) Nobody bothered to check on me to see if my nails had dried, or if I needed anything. 5) The woman who took my payment neglected to inform me of the discount if you pay by cash. 6) I asked the woman who took my payment if I was supposed to get a massage like I had read about on Yelp. Her reply was 'I'm not sure, I just started working here.' Maybe this was an off day at the salon. It wasn't busy (11am on Thursday), so that can't be the excuse. I never write reviews, but this was one of the worst manicures I've ever had. The whole manicure took about 15 minutes. She even asked if I wanted my cuticles done. She also smudged my nails trying to clean them up and they looked worse than if I did them myself. I will never go back. read more

I went for a pedicure this afternoon was very disappointed. They made me wait 25 minutes after my scheduled appointment. After I finally got seated in one of the pedicure chairs the girl went a little crazy on the cuticle cutting. I flinched a few times but being the non-confrontational person I am, I didn't say anything. Well now it is 10pm at night and I am paying for being such a wimp because my big toe is throbbing. I had to rush out of there afterwards because I didn't want to get a $20 parking ticket. I figured I would be out of there in an hour and 15 minutes and put money in the parking meter to cover that but because they made me wait 25 minutes I was rushed. Now the polish on my big toe is messed up and I'm out $40. Don't waste your money here! I've had better pedicures at less expensive places. read more

I really love Diamond Spa for their manicure services. I have had both Julie and Angela. Julie does an awesome French manicure to the point they look like I have fake nails on! And Angeles manicure that was just a solid color polish lasted me over a week without chipping and she is a very sweet person! I always leave with my nails feeling fresh and clean and they look like they have been done other than me just painting them myslef.I love how diamond spa it is a very peaceful atmosphere and of course the hot stone massage is one of the best parts. I am done going into those right in right out manicure spots where they leave your cuticles all cut up, Diamond Spa is my place! read more

I've been going to Diamond Spa for several years for massages. I highly recommend this spa! It is clean, the staff are all friendly and accommodating and the environment is soothing. The massages are the best I've ever had, and I've had many over the years. The massage therapist that I request is the best. He has a gift of healing. This place is the best. I'm sorry to hear about my other African-American sister who had a bad experience. I must say I love this place!! First of all, I LOVE that cell phone use is NOT allowed!! Secondly, I love this place for how they've always treated my 78 year old mother.....they were courteous to the point of ingratiating themselves, treating my mom with the upmost respect and care. I go here when I really want to treat myself to a hot stone pedicure, and also when I want a better experience than the typical $20 pedicure. In my last visit, I had "Hana". I was the only Black female there and Hana rushed through my entire pedicure. The hot stone massage is supposed to last 10 minutes - she was done with both feet in 3 to 5 minutes. I even had to question whether she put a top coat on my toes. I was finished earlier than people that were there BEFORE me. It was not relaxing. It was inconsistent (she did some things to one foot that she didn't do to the other foot). I don't want to say it, but I felt like whites were being treated better. The GOOD NEWS is that when I was finished, I was still prepared to pay and give a very small tip, but I quietly explained my experience to the cashier (I didn't bother mentioning my racial disparity observations) and she charged me half price. I used to LOVE this place and while I'm grateful they cut the price, I doubt I would go back, and if you are Black, I'd skip this place - or at least don't let Hana provide your service. I used to fall asleep during this treatment. I used to feel very good when leaving here, but yesterday I felt slighted and would have preferred the cheaper $20 pedicure service over the service Hana provided. I really feel like this should be a 1 star rating, BUT the cashier charged me half price, so her effort counts for something. read more

I recently spent two hours at Diamond Spa: had a fine pedicure, manicure, and then it was time for a lip and chin wax. After the esthetician finished my waxing, I noticed that my chin was really stinging and red. She put extra soothing lotion on it but I could tell that something wasn't right. When I got home and looked in the mirror, I could see that she had ripped the skin off one side of my chin. As the evening went on the redness became more prominent and by the next day it had formed a large scab. I went back to the spa that same day and asked to see the owner, who I know having frequented his establishment many times. He suggested I put neosporin and aloe on it but did not offer to refund my money or even pay for the lotions. He took my number, but never called to check on me. I will never return to his business which, judging by how busy it always is, is certainly successful enough to refund my money for the harmful services his employee provided. read more
