The salon is respectful of your time and does not double and or triple book their stylists so you are able to get in and out within a reasonable amount of time, receive quality service and not feel ignored or rushed. There have been times when stylists have moved on and the front desk staff made every effort to ensure I was paired with a stylist who specialized in working with curly hair. The owners have worked hard to provide an upscale and relaxed experience that is consistent. The salon is clean, calming and soothing without the threat of children / pets destroying the environment. Please be aware before booking your appointment - Salon L is not a daycare center so if you're asked to remove a disruptive situation, please understand the request - as I personally don't want to be forced to endure the pain. The pedicure chairs seem to be quite new, and have an excellent massage feature. The pedicure is thorough and gentle. The regular pedi includes paraffin on your heel. The manicure is also very through and includes a paraffin dip. I added a few minutes of a chair massage at $2/minutes and it was WORTH IT! I cannot recommend this place more strongly. Parking isn't great, but there is a lot on Dupont St, just a few steps away.
