We parked our car at the airport economy parking lot, and when we reached our car we realized our car battery died and our manual key couldn't even open the door. I called my car insurance provider, and learned I didn't have roadside assistance (my fault), but they said they can locate a nearby locksmith to unlock my car - I accepted their assistance. They said they found someone and he will be there in a hour. A hour goes by, and then it turns out the provider was unable to fulfill my request (after WAITING A HOUR in the cold). I was livid and called back my car insurance policy and they were able to locate another provider, which turned out to be Jesse's Roadside Rescue. Jesse arrived in less than 20 minutes. He provided speedy, efficient, and courteous service. He got my car unlocked and jump started in a few mere minutes. I highly recommend him for any roadside services!

Said they would have to unattach my driveshaft due to towing a heavy duty vehicle. Like okay i hear that, they unhook driveshaft and deliver to a discount tire 5 miles away due to my trucks front tire blowing in Milwaukee, thus needing the tow. When dropping it off the driver said discount tire can put it back on, i asked him if he knew that for certain or guessing. He shrugged...we paid then 50$ to unhook the driveshaft to then be told by the driver they cant hook it back up due to legality reasons....when we called the company back next morning asking them for a solution. The front desk lady told us that we lied about our vehicle size and that the cost shouldve been 800+. But we did tell them, texted them a picture and ALSO the driver wouldve "logically " tell us upon arrival that price would change or he cant due it because "we lied about our vehicle" (ill attach pictures of us texting them a picture of our rig). She continued to say that its common and all box truck owners know that upon towing the driveshaft would be unattached and would have to get it reattached on our own dime. Which thats not "common knowledge ". Wouldn't as a tow company, youd want to inform and educate your clients? They said we got a steal of a deal due to their new girl of one week "misquoting us". (Talk about poor management then)... I dont think 800+ for a single tow to then pay more money on top ($250) after the fact to make my truck DRIVEABLE again was "competitive ". They were faced with a 350 Dooley, dump trailer, and backhoe sliding down an embankment, due to wet muddy conditions, approx. 80ft away from pavement. 3 trucks later and and dealing with a difficult neighbor, they had all vehicles out and unscathed. Maybe he has hit a rough spot in life, I'd used him 2 times over a year ago and it went well. However, he is not reliable right now and I would not use him under any circumstances. Tuesday I had a breakdown returning to Portland from Seattle. We scheduled a time at 5pm for him to meet me in Castle Rock and agreed to a price. He wrote at 4pm to say his current job was taking longer than expected. I wrote him at 5 and asked for an ETA. Called him at 6. Texted again. No response. Finally at 6:30 I had to start looking for another tow truck, and by then it was after hours and the prices go up. The guy from Jacobson's Chevron had to leave home to come get me. Good guy, And we were able to get the car home, but it was hundreds of dollars more than what Tony had offered. No explanation ever came, no text, no call, nothing. And stuck paying hundreds of more dollars. Really strange as a repeat customer especially. Avoid Urban Miner until he corrects what is going on and addresses how his business reviews are tanking...

Towed 3 cars with NO authority from private property…read more They are NOT legally allowed to tow any car without following proper procedure with authorization only by Owner of car, Police, car dealer or owner/manager of building /apartment complex. On private property (ie. apt building) the Law requires a 72 hr notice placed on car dated and signed by owner/ building manager giving the car owner chance to move. If not removed the property owner/manager must fill out an authorization to tow form including date, time and their name address and signature to request & authorize the tow! They need to be onsite to hand said form to tow company before they can tow. Before tow company can touch your car they must take time stamped photos documenting where your car was parked, also documenting the 72 hr warning notice was affixed and the condition of your car. NONE OF THAT WAS DONE! The also overcharged every fee by hundreds and added an unallowed 'DISPATCH' fee of $50. There are set fees that they cannot exceed! Please check with Gresham regulations and fee schedules online! They are legally required to have an office per state regulations and DON'T! They are legally required to have all paperwork /photos and authorization prior to tow and produce it all to YOU and retain those records for 2-3 years! If this happened/s to you please report them thru city manager, there is a process. Don't let this keep happening to fellow residents.

The same tow driver will show up to my apartment complex and take cars that are parked with emergency flashers on, driving away with dollar signs in his eyes--$175 a tow plus mileage is extra. Who tows a car with emergency flashers on? This happened right in front of me. They will r*pe you with a "gate fee after hour" charge of $100 plus despite advertising being open 24-hours a day. Just for having my friend's vehicle for not even an hour, almost $400 in the hole. When asking for a receipt with a breakdown of the charges that totaled up to almost $400, it was very vague. BS company. Beware. He sits and waits to tow cars at my complex--I saw him towing several in one day! There is no office, so upon retrieving your vehicle, you have to wait by a gate for this guy to arrive. My friend had to wait almost an hour after "dispatch" (charge to talk to dispatch too, the same woman every time--$50 charge) said it would only be 10 minutes but it was almost an hour. They are swindlers. The lady from dispatch told us the price would be $347, then she changed it to $402. None of the prices made any sense, and it kept changing! Beware.

Very predatory company. My roadside assistance insurance contacted them to tow my car to the…read morenearest service provider. They convinced me this was 100% a covered service. First off, they took forever to get to my location when the ETA was originally 30-60 minutes. Then when the service provider declined my vehicle, without letting me know, RPM automotive towed my vehicle to their tow lot. Told me I would have to pay $1500+ plus to get it out. The representative I spoke to blamed it on my insurance and yelled at me telling me he can't help me and to call back when I figure out what I want to do. They basically held my car hostage. Told me they close at 4:00PM so I would be charged an overnight fee unless I paid to get it out. Eventually insurance company somehow got them to drop the charge to $211. I called the morning after to retrieve my vehicle and then they told me $275. Told me I would have to pay cash which is strange. And that I couldn't get my car until 11:00AM, even though they open at 9:00AM. The lot was in a sketchy area and hard to find. On some of the calls I could hear people yelling and cursing in the background. I would not trust doing business with this company.
