This office is amazing. They offer a wide range of treatments and are up to date with the newest technology. I recently had Emsculpt here and wow it was interested....in a good way of course! The Emsculpt is like those old ab stimulation built but on steroids! You basically get 20,000 sit-ups in 30 minutes. It takes a few minutes to get used to like anything else. The next day my abs were a bit soar but I like that feeling! They were hard! That was only one treatment so I'm thoroughly impressed! I'm not looking to lose fat just tone but your suppose to do 4 treatments. The office is great and everyone is so friendly! Krystle was very information. She works the front desk. I called to have a treatment done called Miradry. Their office said it would be $3000 for two treatments and I needed to pay for both in advance. Fine, no problem. They said come on in for a consultation and we also set up the day to have the first treatment. I told them I didn't really need a consultation per say because I already had been diagnosed and knew I needed this treatment. They said, well we will do a skin check, and we need to do this. Fine. I get there and none of the extra promised services were provided (no skin check etc.), as I am leaving they say that will be $250 please. I asked how they thought it was ok to charge $250 for a consultation for a $3000 treatment. They went to the Dr. and she said ok $150. I said, there is no way I'm paying you guys that (I am speaking to the poor assistants caught in the middle). She said OK well then we'll just apply it to the treatment cost. Well guess what Dr., when you treat your patients like a jerk, there are no $3k treatments being done. I declined the treatment from her (I recently had it done somewhere that doesn't try and fleece their patients) and payed her $150 and left. I honestly was beside myself and I don't get upset easily. This wonderful doctor has been my dermatologist for over 10 years. I used to live in NYC and even after moving back home to Dallas, still continue to fly out to see her. Why? Well, first she's as honest as she is thorough. She pushes nothing. Ever. That goes a long way with me. It also must be said that people sitting in her waiting room simply look great - not worked-on, which confirms how conservative she is, which is **what you want** in a derm. If you haven't noticed, a lot of big-name derms quoted in beauty magazines indiscriminately gush over EVERY buzzword and trend no matter what - and look like they get very high on their own supply to boot - let's be honest. Well, that isn't the case with this dermatologist. Whatever she does or doesn't do, she just looks young & fresh. Another big reason I love Dr. Madfes: if you sign up for a glycolic peel or IPL or any other procedure, she doesn't stick you with a "medical esthetician" who does the honors instead. You have no idea how rampant this practice is with derms, and it's a shame for patients paying a premium for a physician. I don't care if it's technically legal - so is pointing at strangers and laughing at them on the subway. It's a pet peeve anyway & I won't be jipped. If you're in the area, I highly suggest this dermatologist. In fact, she's the only one I recommend, period. read more

I'm the client that walks in asking for fillers and Fraxel and she so kindly offers suggestions to help your skin naturally repair itself over time like micro needling for example. She really pays attention to every detail on your skin and comes up with a plan to solve all of the issues for you. She is so well versed on all of the newest techniques and her equipment is the most up to date. They always take photos of your skin to keep track of your progress. They keep detailed digital logs of your regime and everything they have done on you. The front desk is so kind and even begin to know your name! I have been a patient of both Dr. Madfes and Dr. Williams for years, they are both wonderful and caring physicians and deliver excellent care that is tailored to my needs and aesthetic ideals. They have excellent nurses/assistants, both Angel and Carolyn are lovely and thorough in their instructions. I pay out of pocket and find their fees very affordable, for years I saw in-network dermatologists that were rushed and didn't take my mild/moderate issues seriously. Although those doctors were surely well meaning, I feel I wasted my time and money allowing an insurance company to choose my provider. I was referred to Dr Madfes by a friend who is quit particular about only seeing the best of the best when it comes to doctors. Needless to say, I went to see Dr. Madfes with high expectation for my skin discoloration. Dr. Madfes was a petite and soft spoken women with handled herself professionally and intelligently. I would have given Dr. Madfes 4 stars (not 5 because I've only seen her once). However, my first experience at her office between the disgruntle receptionists/office assistants and incompetent nurse assistant only allows me to only give 3 stars. Dr. Madfes' office doesn't take insurance which becomes a work driver for me and makes me wonder even more what the receptionists have toI complain about. Diane Madfes is a great dermatologist and her location is easily subway accessible. However, the office tends to overbook patients in immensity, causing patients to wait over an hour to see the doctor. The staff is lovely but an appointment requires setting aside 2-3 hours rather than 1. read more

I have been a patient of Dr. Madfes for seven years and I honestly believe that she is an outstanding dermatologist. Not only is she professional, highly experienced and thorough, she is unpretentious--which is pretty rare these days! Many doctors are so egotistical and condescending. It can't be that easy treating patients that expect to look 20 years younger when they leave the office! It would be nice if that could happen, but she's not a magician! Clearly it's quite costly to have these cosmetic procedures done-- but that's anywhere you go! You certainly want to get what you pay for (probably more than you pay for)! I went in for a Botox treatment. A fast, quick procedure I have had 3+ times, that took over 2 hours bc Dr. Madfes overbooked. She was going on vacation and they crammed,jammed her schedule. It took over 2.5hours. I was an idiot to pay a fortune and have to wait like an idiot for the pleasure of her services.
