Caprara's Auto Body Shop - Thank you Caprara's, for making my M340i RIGHT again!!

If you are looking for a GREAT Body Shop: You found one…read more Another vehicle tapped the side of my car, out on the highway. Was not sure where to take (My Baby) to get her repaired. You don't go looking for a body shop - until you need one. I had some detail work done previously, at 'The Works". And since they did an amazing job on my car, I called to see who they recommend. And they told me about Caprara's. Ending up at Caprara's was the BEST thing that could have happened to my M340i. I met Jeremy, when I stopped in to book my appointment. And I instantly knew that I was in good hands. Jeremey loves what he does and takes tremendous pride in the work he does. You can see that pouring out of him, within seconds. THIS is what I love to see. People that take pride in their work. Not just 'getting the job done'. The other driver's insurance low balled (of course) and wanted things to be 'patched and repaired'. But Jeremey was amazing. He kept on it. And on it. And on it. He would not quit. Until he got me all NEW OEM parts. And let me say . . it was a LOT of parts. And BMW OME parts don't come cheap. The difference in what the insurance first agreed to - and what Jeremey worked them up to (to do the job RIGHT) was HUGE. I LOVE my car. And Jeremey was able to make my car whole again. The way it should be. Not the way the insurance wants it to be. My car is whole again. All new OEM parts and bumpers. Not repaired tabs and patching. It looks freaking amazing !! I can't tell you enough that Jeremey fought hard to make my car right. And he was updating me daily. With texts and photos. On top of all that customer service, they also do incredible body work. My car is so beautiful again. It is done the way it should be done. It looks amazing. And they even took care of a few small dings in the upper window frame areas, that had not been part of the actual work. I can't say enough about how happy I am with my experience. Everyone at Caprara's was welcoming, like family. The woman who works the customer service desk is incredible. So warm and friendly. She walked me through the entire process. And even set up all of my rental appointments with Enterprise. Called the insurance companies, etc. I purchased my car used. Two years old as a CPO. IT looked great then. But it now looks . . better than the day I purchased it. I said it, at the beginning of my review, and I will close with it. If you are looking for a GREAT Body Shop: You found one.

Good work, pleasant and helpful staff. Hope to never have to see them again though LOLread more

This was the worst auto repair experience I've ever had, and it ended up costing me nearly $500…read moreout-of-pocket because of their repeated delays and dishonesty. During my first visit, they told me the car would be ready on a specific date--then delayed it three separate times. Each time, Andrew told me over the phone that they were "just finishing up," only for the car to not be ready at all. He said it repeatedly, and when I finally called him out for giving the same line every time, he flat-out lied and claimed he never said it. That delay pushed my rental past what insurance would cover, and I ended up having to pay nearly $500 myself--money I never would've spent if they'd stuck to their original timeline. They left glass from the broken windshield all over the dash and in the vents. When I drove the car home glass was falling on me while driving. Then I had to bring the car back because the job wasn't even done right. They told my mom when she was dropping it off that the missing splash guard underneath the car was my fault, claiming I must've hit something (which I didn't). The truth is, they simply didn't reinstall it during the original repair and then lied to cover it up. For the second visit, they told me the car would be done the next day, it wasn't. Then said it would be ready by 2PM the day after. No one called me with an update, so I went there at 4PM when I got out of work. When I calmly asked why it wasn't ready, the woman at the desk started screaming at me to sit down "NOW!"--completely unprofessional and aggressive behavior. They handed me my key and said my car was outside--but it wasn't. Another customer actually helped me find it. I was speaking with her when Andrew the mechanic walked over to me I told him to get away from me and that he's a liar. Andrew then started screaming at me to leave, and another man came outside yelling that I wasn't welcome on the lot. When I said I was leaving and I didn't want to be on their lot, they threatened to call the police. Over their mistake. I was calm and patient for weeks, but the moment I stood up for myself, they became abusive. This shop wasted my time, cost me money, and treated me like I didn't deserve basic respect. They are obviously the type of mechanics to walk all over you and lie and break things that weren't broken to begin with so you have to go back. If Progressive continues to recommend this location, that says a lot about their standards too. If you want honest, competent repairs--and to be treated like a human being--stay far away from Caliber Collision on 7 Oakwood Ave.

When I dropped off my car it was first thing in the morning, before coffee, still upheld great customer service, even with my short half asleep answers. Everyone was patient, kind, and helpful!! I got my rental car there at the same time I dropped off my car and was able to return my rental there at the same time I picked up my car. It made things much easier. I would suggest them to anyone who needed services they offered. Hopefully I never need their services again, but if I do, I'd be happy to return, not just for their excellent customer service, but my car looks great!!
