This is the second time I have ordered food here and picked it up and it be uncooked/cold and every time I pay for extra rolls I get 0 rolls total. The health department needs to re inspect as well. I haven't had BBQ in a while and decided to check this place out and use my AMEX food offer from Grubhub. I went ahead and placed my order online and did a pick up for the brisket plate, with 2 sides and bread. I ordered the green beans and a Caesar salad and chose the toast. I arrived 15 minute later and my order was waiting in the warmer. The lady went ahead and placed everything in a really nice fancy bag and handed it to me. I decided to dine in and enjoy the beautiful surroundings the restaurant offered. The brisket was good and still hot but I wish it had a little more fat to it. It seemed a little dry but with some BBQ sauce on it everything will be okay. They have sweet, spicy, and original BBQ sauce you can choose from. They also have a full service drink fountain with tea as well. They even have self serve pickles, sliced onions, and lemons you can serve your self. The Caesar salad was good and the dressing had a nice tangy kick to it. The green beans were piping hot and tasted really well and i like the concept where there not your typical green bean but wider ones. They also have complementary vanilla soft serve ice cream where you can help your self after you finish your meal. Overall nice little spot and I feel ill be coming here every month just to use the offer. read more

I use to be a loyal Dickey's Bar-B-Q customer. No more! And the D'Iberville, MS store can get credit for that. I understand the food business is tough...I use to work in it. But, this particular store does not appreciate their customers. Out of the 8 times I ordered take-out here, all 8 times was wrong. Either they are out of chicken, chicken wings, the food is too salty, they forget my sides/sauces, the food is not ready when I get there (waited up to 30 mins)...this location is a disaster. I don't believe in complaining w/out giving the manager a chance to make it right. Today's error...they forgot my jalapeño beans side (haven't had it for 4 weeks) and chicken wing sauce. Their response, "You have to come by in ONE week to get your "free" side. I had to correct him twice: I PAID for it - it's not free. He didn't care. This franchise branch is located inside the Diberville shopping center. Parking is easy. Some of the nicest employees work at this location. The dining room is always clean. Two flat screen TVs are always playing ChiveTV. Vanilla ice cream cones are always free. My favorite protein choice is the chicken and the brisket being my second choice with the spicey bbq sauce. Is Dickey's at D'Iberville, MS under new management? I always love to eat at Dickey's. The meat is always excellent and the little extras always make it special. Yesterday was a little disappointing. The creamed spinach was removed from the menu. There was no lemon for my tea, no sliced onions, no sliced dill pickles, and the ice cream machine was gone! Also the spicy barbeque sauce was not in the heated serving container. I only saw one employee there. I do not know if they made all these changes or the one man could not take care of it all, but if these changes are permanent I will not so eager to go there. Got some food to go from here last week while staying the night in D'Iberville. We had been driving all day and were in definite need of a hot meal. I ordered the chopped brisket with green beans and mashed potatoes. The green beans were delicious although a bit on the salty side. The serving of brisket was much more than anticipated! I'd seen several Dickey's locations around town and thought that it was an over-hyped chain. However, when I stopped in for dinner I was very surprised and pleased! You order at the counter and they cut and plate your order in front of you (if you can see over the 5 foot counter). The prices are extremely affordable, and you get free ice cream soft serve! I tried their 2 meat plate which comes with two sides and a roll: pulled pork, polish sausage, green beans, and baked beans. The pulled pork was tender and moist, the polish sausage was flavorful and moist as well, the green beans were fantastic, and the baked beans were sweet and heavenly. The shear amount of food options they have make it hard to choose, but with how good everything was the first time, it shouldn't take long to visit enough to try everything. read more

Came here on a recommendation from a co-worker. Had the smokehouse salad with the brisket. Man it was good! It's a simple salad with brisket, but it really is great. The one thing I'd suggest is to be a little more generous with the brisket. The smoked meat is decent, although I don't particularly care for their sauces. I enjoy a vinegar based barbeque sauce much more than this overly - sweet sauce. Even the "hot" sauce us far too sweet in my opinion. The fried okra is decent, but the potato salad is terrible. Terrible! We ordered a ton of food to go for the office the day before Thanksgiving. The first thing that struck everybody was the price of the food. We did not get much food, considering the huge price tag. Well, it's on the company's dime, so no biggie. When the food arrived, we opened the containers to find that the pulled pork and the chicken were both visibly dry. I mean... you could just look at this food and tell it was not going to go down easy. The food did not have much flavor at all. The rolls were tough. There's really nothing else to say about it. Brisket and ribs. I wanted potato salad and coleslaw, but they were out of potato salad. So I ended up getting Mac n cheese instead. They have 3 styles of BBQ sauce on the sideline, sweet, OG, and Spicy. I tried the spicy and it was really good...you can see the chili flakes in the sauce. The meat was really good, brisket was juicy and the ribs were falling off the bone tender. The sides were ok, biscuit tasted a little undercooked to me...but I could be mistaken. I came here for the first time for lunch today. I didn't dislike it, but neither did I find it amazing. To me it was just your basic BBQ joint - nothing special and nowhere near the best on the coast (that's crazy talk...go somewhere local). The price was decent for the 2 meat plate I got ($11 plus a drink price) and I did get a good bit of food. I got brisket and pulled pork. I found both to be overly salty, but the brisket was perfectly cooked and crispy so it was the highlight of the meal. My Mac and cheese was bland (wish I'd grabbed the S&P shakers) but the beans were nice - not your typical mushy baked beans but rather firm BBQ flavored beans. The roll was to small though it tasted good. I'd rather have a couple pieces of white bread, personally. I got the sweet BBQ sauce (I am from the south) and was disappointed. It was more tangy than sweet, and bit more than necessary. But I will say the sweet tea was really good, so there's that. If you're in the promenade, hungry, and want BBQ go for it. If not, don't go out of your way for it. There are much better places in Gulfport or Ocean Springs/Vancleave. read more
