I have tried this place twice now and I was hoping it would be better than the last but it was not. We got there right after opening so I was hoping for some fresh bbq. My sausage and my daughters chicken were taken out of baggies form the fridge and microwaved It was so bad, we threw it away and walked over to chick-fila. Also, the restaurant was filthy, it looked like the bathroom had never been cleaned. Giving them a one star is being generous. Their service is horrible and the two woman on staff are extremely rude. The tea is rancid and when brought up to the staff, they told us it wasn't and they "made it this morning" even though three customers all said it was rancid. The store is dirty, trashes are full. It's okay. I got the 3 meat plate, sliced brisket, pulled pork and turkey. They forgot my turkey. My husband got the 2 meat plate with sliced brisket and pulled pork. We both received the same thing. The pulled pork was pretty good, mild flavor and it wasn't dry. The brisket was tender but really fatty. More than half the portion was just fat. I like some fat, that's why I like brisket, but the fat to meat ratio was definitely off. I really wish I could have tried the turkey but I guess we'll skip to the sides. The baked bean are really good. Simple, no added ingredients. The coleslaw, Mac n cheese and mashed potatoes were all fine. Not bad, nothing fancy, just classic style. Their sweet tea is really really sweet! It's good, but sugar overload. I'd say overall it's a decent place, especially for the price. The 2 meat plate was around $19 and the 3 meat plate was around $21, and that includes 2 sides. Just check your order before leaving to make sure you actually got everything you paid for... Also, portion size is decent. It's not big portions by any means but it'll fill you up. It also comes with a piece of buttered toast. It's good bread. No complaints. read more

We were the only ones in the store and were ordering to go. The guys were helpful but not very knowledgeable on what they ordered. Service was fairly slow, they were out of most of their sauces. We order the Picnic meal for our family and a baked potato. We got our order and headed home to eat. Unfortunately, we didn't have all of our order. They left out our $15 baked potato. They had closed by now and we were 20 mins away from the store. We won't be returning. read more

It's dickies bbq, nothing special can be good can be bad on some days ‍ it's a chain bbq place so you could imagine what to expect

Far and away the absolute worst dickies in the entire franchise nationwide. Their food is basically inedible. They continually give the absolute worst cut of briskets that you can possibly imagine. There is so much fat and gristle that my dog will not even eat it. I don't know why it is so difficult for this specific location, but the operator should be stripped of his license and booted out the door. We have complained several times and do not even get a call back, awful, awful, awful. read more

Food came out cold, hot hold obviously not holding temp, they did reheat and remake in a pot but how many other potential problems are there from their food not being held at proper temps, plastic lining their pans? Sad. It took a while for anyone to acknowledge us. Portions small, brisket tough, Mac and cheese overdone and gritty. They shorted our order. The coleslaw was all but frozen. Dark ambiance with filthy windows and a floor so sticky your feet peeled up off the floor when you move. And finally the staff was unhappy and a smile would have been appreciated. One of the worst dinners I've ever had. Ordered to go for me and my boyfriend, picked it up on time and only drove five minutes to our house. Food was so cold, except for the coleslaw which should've been cold, but was oddly warm. We had to go back in because they forgot to give us a cup for the drink we ordered. Got home and realized our two separate 3 meat platters had been mixed up. So some of my meat was in with my boyfriends which wouldn't have been a problem except for the fact that he ordered pulled pork and I ordered chopped brisket, making it impossible to separate out the individual meats. The taste of the sliced brisket (which I ended up with since my boyfriend got mine) was so dry and unflavorful. Grabbed some quick food at the VERY end of the day, right before closing. Service was good despite going in at the last minute. Got the two meat plate with chicken breast, kielbasa, baked beans and green beans. The kielbasa and baked beans were good, the chicken was a bit dry and the green beans were over cooked. I'm NOT going to bash them for the last two cuz it was literally the end of the day! If you want the freshest, go earlier. If you want it hot, go pick it up yourself. They never pick up their phones, their front door doesn't work properly. I sat outside one day thinking it was closed and saw the workers inside so I was confused. No one came to open the door for me , I had to wait for another customer to try themselves and after yanking on it they went in, so I followed. I was asked my order probably 5 or 6 times because they don't write anything down so they kept forgetting, really frustrating. Three times I've ordered from them, and the best they've accomplished is mediocre. The first time, which was right after opened, the food we received was cold. The meat was dry and tough. Vegetables were overcooked and mushy. I tried them again some time later, in hopes that they needed to have more time to get things in order. The food was better, not great but better. The third attempt was the worst. I again ordered online through their website. I submitted my order around 7:20 in the evening. 15 minutes later I received an email, that my order was being prepared. A few minutes after 8, I receive a text from a Doordash delivery driver that the restaurant was closed when he got there and he wasn't able to pick up my order. I then tried calling the store, since they were supposed to be open until 9PM. All my calls went to an answering machine. A few days later, when I finally did get through to someone, they claimed that they were open, but told me that they were having problems with Doordash delivery people. Then they told that they would submit my claim over to their corporate office. After more calls to see if there was any resolution, I tried sending messages to the corporate office through their website. So far no response. I'm out $66.26, and apparently they could care less about their customers. They can blame the delivery company, but I didn't order my food through the delivery service. I ordered from their website, and they subcontracted Doordash for delivery. Never again will I order anything from Dickey's. I've had enough! read more

We really enjoyed this place everytime we eat here we even meet the owner once and always had great service so I hate to leave this review but the young man working on 4th of July evening around 7:00pm with a gage earring gave us very rude service he wasn't friendly at all asked what we wanted we told him and he would answer with rude and acting like we are stupid for saying what we wanted. Told me there was no chicken when it was almost done cooking when I paid the chicken was done so didn't understand why he said we are out instead of it should be done soon I could have waited. Then we paid for ice cream after eating and the cones are always by the machine so we paid and walked away to machine and he said did you not want your ice cream and held it up very smart mouth and rude. I am only writing this so the owner can see what service is provided when he isn't there. read more

Tucked back into a plaza dominated by Chick Fil-A/ Starbucks this place forks out LARGE meaty ribs, fresh crispy slaw (populated with carrot & purple cabbage shreds to add even more flavor) & stalwart scrumptious smoky beans (not mashy & tasteless beans like most BBQ places). Both of the tatooed smoker-guys behind the counter were serious about their BBQ fare, proudly stating owner is British & yes Brits do know their beans. (I have fond memories of 'Beans on toast' in London) It's hard 2 find a BBQ place that has nailed the 3 essentials, ...ribs, slaw & beans but it's all done right at Dickeys. read more

The staff are passionate about their food, and treat people like family. I'll never get those three years back, but going forward, this is my new favorite restaurant ... not just favorite BBQ place. We visited this place just yesterday from writing this. The staff here is extremely friendly and the cost of the food seemed extremely reasonable. When it came to the food, most of it was good, unless you use the regular spicy sauce. I started off some pulled pork which alone was really flavorful, however with the spicy sauce it had little heat and not much taste. However, when using the Texas version it actually added a good amount of flavor, however the heat was minimal. The brisket was very good alone and fell apart with just the use of our fork. When it came to the chicken it was okay but nothing special. As for the beans of the 3 sides we tried it had to be my favorite. I personally love potato salad but when i went to try theres I was very disappointed as it seemed like nothing more then what i could of bought at Safeway. The cabbage slaw seemed alright but i am not much for eating slaw, However, my mother in law who really enjoys these salads said it was extremely good and had plenty of flavor for her. And finally for the dinner rolls they were good, I was personally disappointed that i didn't see an option for corn bread. Ohh one nice side touch they did have was the soft serve ice cream cones. And if memory serves me correctly they said it was dairy free, and my kids enjoyed them. Overall, I would give this place a 3 1/2 star possibly closer to 4 considering the prices for BBQ seemed really good overall. We had a pleasant experience and will probably give it another try but with different sides for sure. read more

Where do I even start Sooo disorganized, chaotic, and slow. It took a team of five people 25 minutes to take our party of four's orders. Just to take our orders, not make them. Our food was extremely disappointing as well. The $18 three meat plate is about 4 oz of meat altogether. The "burnt ends" were literally dry chunks of stringy hard pork jerky. The brisket was dry and hard. Soo horrible. When we complained to the workers they did offer us our money back and did their best to work with us but it was just a terrible experience overall. The counters were all sticky, the soda machine was out of every soda but Dr Pepper and sprite, the barbecue sauce warmers had this crusty layer on top, the ice cream came out of the machine mostly melted. Where to begin. Poor service, bland, dry meat, and not worth the money I arrived to order and found that they are only doing online orders. I won't fault them entirely for this but in order to order online you have to navigate their website which you have to get an account. I then ordered and signed up for curbside delivery. When the order tracker said they were packaging it up I checked in. After waiting 10 minutes I went in. I told them I was there for my curbside order and was told "oh, it isn't ready yet." And she processed to get it ready. I should add that the 6 employees I saw were all standing around talking. I finally got my order and asked about the drink I had ordered. I was told it would be a minute and I informed them to forget it and left. The food was cold, dry, and flavorless, with the exception of the jalapeno sausage. The bbq sauce helped a bit but not much. I was excited to see that there was a Dickie's in Marysville since when I worked in Everett I frequented that one often. I've called them two days in a row now wanting to order their giant stuffed potatoes but every time they tell me they don't have any potatoes! They are directly across the street from a Haggan's grocery store they should go get some damn potatoes, although after reading the other reviews here about their food I probably just won't even bother to try them. read more

My family and I were not impressed. Ordered and paid for approximately $82 worth of food through their web site for pickup. Order included ribs, pulled pork, brisket, a kids meal, drinks and several sides and desserts. They left out the chicken nuggets from the kids meal as well as one of the desserts. I selected sweet bbq sauce option for each meat selection, however there was no bbq sauce on anything, and no sauce was included as a side either. The ribs were dry, tasted like they had been soaked in liquid smoke and were so bad that half got tossed in the trash. The brisket was mediocre, but at least good enough to finish. The pulled pork was passable, but not worth a second visit. The soft drinks were served with no ice, and dispensed from soda machine at time of pickup, yet they were flat and tasted watered down. The rest was like chewing paper. Sorry, if this is BBQ, I'll start eating more salads. I couldn't finish the meal as the meat so overcooked. I've had good food at Dickeys in other locations.
