Picked up app order Saturday night and it was ready on time at 6:30pm. Walked in and it looked like a few workers were on their cell phones in the back. I checked my bag and they missed putting the oil and vinegar on the side. So I had to ask if it was already on the sandwiches and he said he didn't know. I said can you ask the person that made them? And he yelled out someone's name and they said no. One employee said let me check the order, he didn't believe me, and he confirmed that it was supposed to be on the side. I said that's why I wait to tip. No napkins either. They got me the oil and vinegar but after getting home one order had the wrong bread. I made the order over an hour of it being picked up. I guess I won't be earning points at this location anymore. So simple. Basic failure of customer service. They seemed nonplussed. read more

Always Hits the Spot! I was out running errands and got hit with sudden hunger -- I hadn't really been craving anything lately, so I didn't even know what I wanted! I checked the map and saw Jersey Mike's was close by, so I decided to go for it. The strip mall parking lot was packed (almost made me turn around!) but I stuck it out and found a spot in the back. Totally worth it. I always get the same thing: the #17 Mike's Philly on white -- you can't go wrong with a classic. I know the hot subs take a few minutes, so I grabbed a table while I waited. Yikes... I should've checked the reviews first before coming here. I was in the mood for a sandwich and was driving through downtown Marysville on my way home when I stopped by Jersey Mike's. I ordered a "regular" Big Kahuna with no jalapeños and extra meat on rosemary parmesan. I told the dude twice that I wanted extra meat, though I'm pretty sure I didn't get it, as the sandwich came out to be $14 and was honestly one of the most disappointing sandwiches I've ever had before. I'd already eaten dinner but dang, if that's a "regular" sandwich with extra meat on it... I could've honestly eaten two of those things. The sandwich itself was "fine", even though as stated above, I don't think there was extra meat on it, and even though it was quite tiny, but nothing about it would make me want to come back. I don't mind paying $20 for a sandwich if it's going to be fantastic, as well as filling, but I'm not going to spend $14 on something that I could honestly eat two of. My family and I went to this location on a Sunday and there were 6 people a head of us. One woman was ordering and a couple was directly in front of me. After finishing the first woman's order, an employee states they are out of bread. No explanation, no apology and no resolution. If you walk into the store and see the guy texting on his phone instead of making your order don't say anything or they will start arguing with you about how they aren't taking that much time and they will get to your order when they are done and if you don't like you are welcome to leave. If There was a no star option, that's what I would give. The manager is really bitchy and she does not wash her hands!!! She rang up a customer, cut my bread with bare hands then put on gloves. Didn't wash hands, or nothing. This is the worst Jersey Mikes in Marysville/Arlington area!! Do not recommend. Update: went there again yesterday and still no gloves let alone masks being worn. Surprisingly fresh and good! I've never been to any of their locations before and I was really impressed. The bread is soft with this flaky crust on the outside and has a unique flavor in comparison to other sandwich shops I've had. I'm not sure if it's some sort of herb or just from the type of bread. I was really digging it, though! Compared to other chains I feel like it isn't more expensive as far as proportion:cost ratio. Sandwiches are slightly ~$1+ more expensive than other competitors, true, but you get more fillings inside the sandwich here than you do elsewhere, so it really evens out. Not sure where they get their tomatoes... but they actually had texture and flavor! I don't like tomatoes normally but once again was surprised. Last, the employees were friendly and efficient. I prefer Jersey Mike's over Subway. They slice your cold cuts in front of you and the menu is much more simple compared to Subway. It tastes fresh too. This location is clean and the employees seem nice but the overall quality of the food has gotten really bad over the last few years. They got rid of our favorite sandwich a while back (The Rueben) so we've tried different sandwiches and each is just really poor quality with not much flavor. My staff and I frequent this location and we are always impressed by their speed and service. I had my daughter at work today so she had to go on our lunch run. While waiting in line the staff gave her a sticker and she said "this is way better than S*bw^y!" They were so impressed they gave her tshirt. I went here for the gluten free bread. The sandwich was serviceable-- not the best, not the worst. The bread would have been better (like most GF bread) if it had been toasted or heated in a microwave. The main thing I noted is that they were unusually careful to not cross-contaminate. The sub roll was sealed in a package that was put on a piece of parchment paper. New gloves were donned and a fresh knife used. The only opportunity I saw for cross contamination was if the other ingredients had been inadvertently exposed when making prior customers sandwiches. For example, if the server handled regular bread and then touched the pickles and lettuce. I've noticed that many food preparers (at most restaurants) will drag utensils or hands across the bread while putting a topping or ingredient on it. I did not see that here, merely note that it is a potential point of cross contamination. read more

I've been to this location s few times now. Back when they first opened there was an unfortunate incident with a prior manager and the manager that was brought in after has more than made up for an incident that occurred 6 months ago. Stephanie Smith is the manager and she has wonderful customer service skills and the staff I have met have been wonderful and each sandwich I've eaten has been wonderful and made exactly how I wanted each time whether it be light on the lettuce or mikes way without the oil or mikes way hold the onions. Additionally they are pro community as back in December they donated sandwiches one day to feed volunteers for the Marysville Toy store(sandwiches to feed 40) please give them a chance folks.My fav so far is the no 9 (super club) read more

Poor management was my first issue with this location, which has now been resolved. My next bad experience I went today to get a sub, I have sever Gluten allergies and i have been very lucky that Jersey Mikes carry's Udis gluten-free bread and they have a dedicated cutting station, knife and condiments. I normally go to the Jersey Mike's in Smokey point but was in the area and decided to give this location another try. I let the young lady know I had sever gluten allergies, she started off correctly until she brought my sub and placed it right next to the line of other subs waiting to be fixed and that's where it failed I mentioned something and with all that still nothing was done. At this point my sandwich was already contaminated so I kindly told them I didn't want the sandwich anymore and left. It would have been nice if they would have asked why or can maybe try to make it better. To the current manager and owner please train your staff on sever allergies of Gluten/Celiac. My life is important to me and getting sick from a mistake your place of business did is not a good look. Thank you and help save the next person that comes in with Celiac/ Gluten allergy. read more
