    All fat, no brisket

We ordered the salad with chopped brisket and the picnic pack w/ chopped brisket and it was ALL inedible fat for over $60.It wasn't chopped because the fat was too thick to chop threw. I called to complain and they said they could give us their managers number. I give 1 star because they allowed to drive the 30 minutes back there to return the fat and pick up actual meat.

Potato was so big I had to take half home!

Great food, hot fresh BBQ! The giant potato was delicious, fully loaded. The Mac n cheese is creamy and very cheesy. The jalapeño beans are spicy and full of flavor. Ribs were melting off the bone, so good.

    Daily specials

Good food, and great service all around. I love how they do daily specials everyday! For the amount of food you get it is so worth it!

I've been here a few times and had a great experience but the man that prepared my food today was not the owner I don't think, and he treated me very rudely and barked orders at me as I was trying to order my food. Not a smile and just very unfriendly. I was very disappointed almost to the point of tears. When a customer is trying to patronize your location and give back to the local business owners. This looks and feels so wrong. I'm posting this so the owner knows how I feel as treated so others don't feel this way. If you contact me I'll change my post. Thank you

Food was delicious, employees were very nice, price was decent, and restaurant was very clean.

    the meat being weighed

FYI if you order just meat from them, please weigh it when you get home. I just ordered 2 pounds of sliced brisket and they only gave me 1 pound 13.5 OZ.

The pit boss special, 2 sliders, I chose brisquit (good choice). jalapeno beans, and a drink $6. Good deal.

Good prices if you choose a daily special. I liked the brisket, it was a bit dry and the slider bread was definitely 3 star, as was the mediocre jalapeno bean side. But I am giving them 4 star for the overall cleanliness and the concept for a fast casual place that shows some in-house pride, like doing the meats all in-house which is far better than any fast food burger place. Hog Wild has nothing to worry about, but for a chance to get AWAY from an In-n-Out or Carl's Jr, this is far better and only a bit pricier than that. Well worth it. Cool, shaded patio to augment the nice seating indoors. It's not a crime to eat at at a fast food chain, once in a while, at least not this one. Your body will thank you if you eat more proteins and less grains.

Love Dickey's BBQ. Sometimes the amount you get in the side orders can be a bit inconsistent but that's only a small complaint.

And used to also be because of the food. Sadly, the food is no longer an option. We have watched it decline heavily over the last couple of years. Especially in the last year. Breakfast as been a disappointment. The menu has shrunk significantly to the point we were even told that asking for our eggs scrambled was not possible. Strange. We ended our journey with their food options last night with a $45 NY Steak. It was tough to say the least. The baked potato was hard as a rock and the vegetable medly that was beneath it all was well, weird. Those that were with us also had a bad experience with the bistro steak and shrimp tacos. Steak was severely under cooked for the medium rare option that was asked for. The tacos were bizarre. Tortillas were ice cold and the shrimp tasted spoiled and off. Reds used to be our go to place for good food with what we though used to be fresh options. Now it would seem this is just another Sysco delivered pre made chain food option with cooks that just dont seem to cut it anymore. We will still continue to patronize Reds, but will no longer spend money on the food and after the experience last night, it would appear the other 5 people at our table feel the same. We hope they get it back together. It used to be great.

The menu had typical American food, soup, sandwiches, salads, burgers. We ordered the Ahi Lettuce wraps, and the fried green tomatoes. The ahi was good, but it came with with a bunch of fresh and pickled vegetables that threw us off at first as we were expecting more of a thai style lettuce wrap. The one thing I really want to highlight here in my review is the five star service we received from our server Jazze. She is really attentive and direct but not in a brash way. One of the people in our party was having a hard time choosing between two beers and Jazze went out of her way to provide two samples so that our friend could make up her mind. Jazze also was very quick to refill our drinks, check in with us on ordering and how our food was, as well as ensured we felt acknowledged and welcomed. I would come back only for her. Only issue I experienced was getting stuck in the bathroom as the smaller of the two stalls in the bathroom has a door that swings outward in the same direction of the bathroom door so you can't open both at once and also if you close the door to the bathroom all the way you may need to use some elbow grease to open it from the inside

Boa Vista Orchards is a family farm that has many great components, including a bakery, market, cider, wine tasting, hard cider, and lunch. Additionally, it is known for hosting special events throughout the year to keep the general public intrigued. When coming here, I had the opportunity to experience Peach Days. This day featured items such as Fresh Peaches, Peach Lemonade, Peach Ice Cream, Peach Fudge, Peach Pastries and so much more! Everything Peachy! I tried the lemonade and the ice cream, and they were both so refreshing, light, and palatable. Next, I wanted to have lunch. Lunch is served every day with permissible weather from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The menu has a variety of great options like Brisket Sandwiches (Full or Half), Hot Dogs, Cheeseburgers, Black Bean Burgers, etc. I decided to get the Full Brisket Sandwich served with a bag of Lay's Potato Chips. The brisket was so tender and cooked to perfection. The meat was just melting in my mouth - DELICIOUS! With this mouthfeel experience, it was enhanced tremendously when paired with their housemade Apple Chipotle BBQ Sauce (offered at the condiment station). Lastly, the sandwich was big enough that it was satisfyingly filling. At the end of lunch, it was time to try samples. I went to the samples booth and had the Cosmic Crisp Apple, Golden Delicious Apple, Yellow Nectarine, White Nectarine, and Peach Fudge. Followed by this, I shopped around the market. I loved the offerings of the fresh fruits, vegetables, jarred products, etc. I purchased a bag full of White Nectarines, several jars of What'cha Dill Pickles, one big jar of Apple Juice, several personal-sized bottles of Apple Juice, one bottle of Pecan Syrup, and one bottle of the Apple Chipotle Sauce. Overall, Boa Vista Orchards is impressively phenomenal. The entire environment was super inviting with all of the adorable Peach decorations. All of the staff members were friendly and kind. Parking availability was plentiful with three separate parking lots. Whenever I'm in Placerville, I'd totally stop by again! It's worth making a trip to.

The sandwiches were a little underwhelming based on the reviews and the price point. I tried the char siu and meat lovers sandwiches which were both on nicely grilled Texas toast. The flavor of the char siu sandwich reminded me of cake noodle and beef broccoli because of the ramen noodles and the overall flavor of the sauce. I didn't get any of the bamboo shoots in the sandwich or maybe they were chopped really small? The char siu was decent, not super tender and not the typical char siu flavor but it wasn't bad. The meat lovers sandwich had a noticeable sweet flavor I'm assuming from the spaghetti sauce but it really lacked depth. It honestly reminded me of canned spaghetti and a sloppy joe. It also seemed like there was no ranch dressing even though it's part of the sandwiches name. I appreciate the creativity and whimsy they've put into their menu. I just don't think the execution and flavor profiles are where they should be.
