Brisket Plate, Mac and cheese, sidewinder fries.
    William D.

A delicious lunch. Brisket Plate with bacon mac and cheese and sidewinder fries. Mrs had the crispy chicken sando with a side salad. Brisket was thin a tad dry, but super flavorful with a light smoke and fall apart super tender. Sidewinder fries are like steak & curly fries combined, seasoned well & cooked perfectly. Mac & cheese had Velveeta like consistency plenty of crispy bacon,bomb... Crispy chicken sando has caramelized onions, shrooms, cheese super messy and delicious. Fresh salad $2.50 upcharge was crunchy with a good mix and a homemade ranch dressing. House Hot bbq sauce was perfect with the meat. Kinda lodge like interior motif, with some cool custom made solid wood/steel braced dining tables. Service was a little slow, but it's Mom's day. I'm coming back for more..

Overview: kind staff. Nice looking place but the chairs, tables etc were not especially comfortable for a person my size. Beautiful plating. Lovely bathroom. Easy parking. Not pictured is the bacon Mac & cheese as an appetizer: AMAZING! Shared with 6 people, every bite was a taste of cheesy, bacon pasta; exactly as described! Seasoned sidewinder fries are worth any upgrade. If they're not an up charge, they should be. They're great! The fish tacos were okay but they were not what I had in mind. I'd recommend a side salad add on if you're looking for something fresh; no fresh pico de gallo, not a lot of cabbage or radishes.. Cheeseburger was pretty good. Their menu isn't very large but it is varied. Their menu changes because their desserts and their soups are listed. Don't count on it but the desserts we had (brownie Sundae, rum cake, and lemon cheesecake) were all very nice.

    Great Burger!

Been trying to get to this place for a while and finally had the chance today. The service, the…read morevibe, the food, everything was just right. Maybe on the pricey side but I think it was very fair for the quality they serve. On a Sunday afternoon it was a constant stream of customers, but they have some indoor seating and plenty of covered outdoor seating with misters. Ketchup and water dispenser available along with packaged condiments like more ketchup, mustard, mayo, and even malt vinegar. Names are called on the speaker and they have several windows to pick up at. Orders are placed inside or outside at the window. It's pretty neat and makes for a perfect blend of updated/nice with great old school charm. I ordered the Guido (pastrami burger), halfsies (family size of fries and onion rings, opted for waffle fries), and a vanilla twisty with heath bar. The Guido is excellent, but you have to know what you're in for. With the pastrami and the deli mustard, it tastes overwhelmingly like a pastrami sandwich and less like a burger. But the patty, cheese, and veggies do add something to it. It's also very messy, but it was delicious. The onion rings were excellent. They have that smooth batter style, sorta kinda like tempura. My wife prefers the panko style so she was more into the fries. For the fries, they were good but I'd probably opt for normal fries next time instead of waffle fries. I was expecting something somewhat similar to chick fil a, but these were a little on the thicker side and almost had the texture of potato wedges. I'm also not a big fry seasoning guy, and these were well seasoned. But that's a me thing. We still ate them all and you know when I come back I'm not leaving here without fries. The twisty was really good. I might be the only one, but I'm such a sucker for heath bar when I saw it on the menu I had to order it. The ice cream was really good quality. Had a great texture and taste. They were generous with the heath bar. I'm aware I took down a disgusting amount of food, but I think if I could change one thing I'd get the larger size of the twisty next time. It was really good. Wish they had a location closer than 30 mins up the hill, but that won't stop me. Note that my wife asked about the black bean patty and it has cheese in it so it is vegetarian but not dairy free or vegan. So if you go that way, there's that. Not much for you besides fries and dole whip.

This a one awesome burger joint! First a high quality blended patty of chuck, brisket and short…read morerib. Super tasty! Then the menu has some great burger combos. I went w the Guido adding pastrami to their 1/3 lb patty. Their homemade burger sauce is a thousand island relative. Maybe a touch too much sauce but uber tasty. My wife had the Double D burger - double the patty!!! The waffle fries were well prepared and wonderfully seasoned - maybe some of the best fries seasoning in a long while. Mom took on the "cream" side w a Mocha Malt. It was thick and wonderful. The place is a counter order then pick up but that's just fine. It is nothing fancy inside but it gets the job done....Some small fly battles but great food. We will absolutely be coming back!

The…read moreGeorgetown Distillery sits in the former building of the Mark Smith Jeep museum, and it came to life a few years ago by the former owners of Cool Beerwerks as Whiskey and food place. Now, the son Edward has taken over and the menu has been changed to feature sushi, in little old Georgetown. Edward has been making sushi for years previously at Beerwerks, has now taken that experience to running his own place. We've been there a couple times now, and Edward is great. I've been to Japan a couple times, and I casually said I miss traditional Japanese Nigiri (they put wasabi in the rice). Edward said, I can't make for most people cause it's too much, but if you want it I can make it! NO WAY! I said, can it be on the Georgetown Distillery "secret menu"?? He laughed and said sure, just ask. Emilie wanted a roll, but with soy wrap instead of seaweed. Edward said Hmm...I've never made this particular roll in soy, so I'm not sure how it will come out...but I'm up to the challenge. That's how you do it! He set the expectation level, and she said DO IT! Well...it came out perfectly. I've had miso soup, edemame, several nigiri sushi and Emilie has had the coconut curry and "the" roll. All very good.
