Hubby and I stopped by for a quick lunch at the Richland, Wa Dickeys. After looking at the menu and app we decided to walk in to order because it would be quicker. On the app, our order came to $24 something. Inside the restaurant, the exact same order came to $33 something. When I asked about the difference, the manager just said it was the app and corporates fault. No offer of a refund or free food. After I said we wouldn't eat there again, he finally said something about a discount if we came back but he didn't ask our names or numbers. Grrr. read more

The BBQ meat is actually really good. Both my friend & I ordered the beef brisket sandwich with two sides. I got mac & cheese & coleslaw. Now, if I was grading on sides-it would be a 3. They were just ok. My friend got fried okra & waffle fries. Surprisingly, although frozen to fried-the okra was pretty good. Other than that-just stick to the meats. Service was nice & fast & the place was decently clean. The aroma in the establishment was pretty enticing & the free do it yourself ice cream was fun. I would definitely go back for that brisket sandwich but skip the sides. read more

Meh. I had the ribs with Mac and cheese and fried okra, the wife had a brisket sandwich with fried onions and "baked potato casserole" (aka mashed potatoes). Both our meats were cold, but tender at least; seasoning was lacking as well. My mac and cheese was also pretty cold, the sides tasted like they were obviously sent to the restaurant frozen in bags, then thawed and either boiled or microwaved. But it is a chain, so what can you really expect. If you're looking for good BBQ, go to Porter's in the parkade in Richland. But get there early, they sell out quick (which is the mark of good BBQ)! The service was extremely fast, not sure if that's a good or bad thing. We tried the ribs and brisket and both were tasty. Beans and coleslaw were ok, the roll was very soft and warm. My daughter loved the cheesy mac n cheese yet my niece thought it was too cheesy, so it depends what you like. Cant beat the free ice cream. We all left full and happy. read more

So I order a turkey dinner for thanksgiving , the first time I called they asked me what I want it and I clearly stated I want it the smoked turkey ! Then the next day the manager calls me again asking what about wanted to order and I clearly said I wanted the smoke turkey for the 2nd time . Then he calls the 3rd time that I had to pay now and tell them a time for pick up and he asked me again what I wanted again for my order I said the smoked turkey ! So the day before thanksgiving we go pick up our order , they forgot our pumpkin pie and we had to go back . Now the day of thanksgiving when i open what it thought was turkey it was Ham instead ! Now I don't eat pig and that's not even the case I order a turkey for a reason obviously "thanksgiving " and that's what I pay for , now there's no fricken way to call them because they are closed , I had family over and no turkey ! Basically my whole thanksgiving was ruin ! The next day I come to the place to talk to the manager about this issue , I tell the manager about it and he tells me he can refund only for the ham ! And he tells me well at least I got the sides ! Like are you dumb the whole thing about a thanksgiving dinner is to have our turkey , i didn't order a side dinner! Basically the whole point is who acts this way and thinks it's ok to think we going to accept this and not get out full refund ! This place deserves 0 stars sadly I have to put 1 to put a review on this nasty place ! Dickey's is a chain and I don't think people realize it's fast food BBQ. That being said, it's pretty dang good fast food. What I love about Dickey's~ well they have fried okra and that deserves a star all of its own! Next they offer kids eat free on Sundays (with the purchase of an adult meal). Their spicy cheesy kielbasa is legit. Onions are the best here. You get free soft serve ice cream cones afterwards. What's just ok~ They do often run out of meats (this is chain wide as it's happened to me at other locations). Their meats can be cold or too dry at times. When the brisket is on it's ON but when it's dry it sucks. Customer service has always been stellar and stores are clean. read more

Dickey's in Richland has great food with nothing but exceptional service. Every time that I have entered this branch it has been nothing but a great experience. The staff has always ensure to greet me and make me feel welcomed. The Brisket is one of my favorites and it was cooked with the edges blackened and smoked exactly on point. Went there due to the fact Kennewick store was out of chicken. I ordered 2 lbs of chicken and 1 lb of brisket, chopped. And few other things. I was really hoping to like this place, especially since they had okra for a side dish. The restaurant is clean and the workers are somewhat cordial. We had the brisket which was dry and cold. All three of the barbecue sauces were too spicy, so I couldn't eat them at all. I'm not sure if they got mixed on accident, but they weren't spicy the first time I visited the restaurant. The green beans were over cooked with no flavor. The okra was tough and not edible. This was my second time to the Dickies on Queensgate. The cost versus the value of the food isn't justifiable. It all started with a poorly engineered entrance where enter is on the left and exit only door is on the right. Then I approached the counter and was ignored by the employees standing in front of me until I inquired if I was in the right place to order. Turns out I was, so I ordered a picnic pack which was adequate to feed three of us. The beef brisket was served lukewarm because it was sitting on the counter being massaged by some dude prior to being served. The food was served quickly and was decently tasty, especially the waffle fries. Mac and cheese was mediocre - I wouldn't try it again. The free 'ice cream' was awful and went uneaten as a disappointment. All the ketchup bottles within a 10 foot radius of my table were 10% full and I had to gather several just to fill a portion cup. The most impressive part of my visit was discovering the coke fountain dispensed pellet ice, which is my favorite form of frozen water. Finally, after my meal was finished, I discovered I needed to shove the 10" plates through a 6" hole above the garbage - I thought maybe I was on Candid Camera. Would I come here again? Probably, but I'd get just meat by the pound to go, skip the frills, and reheat it on my own. read more

Mike and Kaitlin..... If only you could duplicate them at every one of your stores! I enjoy going to Dickies. I used to go in Olympia and other locations in Western Washington when I would drive around.. But these two have the best customer service of anybody I've run into at this place, Olympia or otherwise! Mike answered about a million small questions for me. It was the first time I tried your straight talk phone since you have them and ultimately I told him to treat me something I would love it he did! He was able to answer every single question so well so give me some recommendations in other areas. At first he seemed so quiet but he's really got a good sense of humor and what I liked about him is his attention to detail. She reminds me of the kind of employee I would give instructions to and then trust when I left the store that he would carry them out exactly as asked. I guess that's the best way to say it. And then Kaitlin was helping me over at the register. She is so incredibly sweet! Just full of smiles and so happy and also clarified a few things that I was asking about. She keeps a line of professionalism and being personable exceptionally well. I wanted to write them up both a review the last time I came.... and I'm sure I would have remembered a lot more details to add had I done it that time but I had forgotten their names. Today when I walked in I saw their faces and they greeted me and remembered me without me saying anything! That just put me over the top. How absolutely awesome! I just think if you're looking for team members to teach others these two are good ones to look at. You'll notice I only leave positive reviews on my Yelp page. I don't bother with people who I don't believe are five star. Worst garbage I have ever order and ate in my life. I paid 70 dollars in food for delivery and got small portions so small like I was sampling at Costco. The place was just around the corner of are home it arrived in 5min and the garbage that arrived was cold. My salad and Mac in cheese was in little puny dickie cups , This place is trash and will never spend my hard working earned money with them. I am beyond disgusted and utterly disappointed! The amount they charged for what we was delivered was horrible! Then I went to call the restaurant and their number is not a working number! Imagine that! They charged $17 for 2 bites of salad and literally it was two bites and salad was brown! Portion size on sides was for a toddler! Definitely a damn sample size! We should have ordered Texas Roadhouse! We would've paid less and gotten adult portions! Not to mention our damn food is cold! Had to warm it up! Thanks a lot! Ok i hate to review Dickies poorly but they did forget some of my order. Door Dash showed up late and my food was cold. Cold fried foods are not at all good. The missing items should have been cold but they didn't show up. I called the store and they said all my issues had to have been because of Door Dash. $75 food order and $7 tip that can not be edited when going through the Dickies website and it doesn't show up on my Door Dash app. Taking my name and number with a promise of a call next week when the manager works because who is at the store now have no was of fixing issues or dealing with missing or cold items. Really did not look good have family over and Dickies and Door Dash failed to deliver and impress my guests. Get it together you can't blame everything on COVID-19. If Door Dash can't hold up their end then call me and I will pick it up or send a kid the one that works for UBER EATS. read more

Staff is really nice I've gone in several times and never had a bad experience with the staff which is rare everyone has their off days, but they are always friendly and helpful. Specials are reasonable and brisket sandwich is delicious with some waffle fries. read more
