Our server was great until it came to giving a tip. I went to give a tip that I felt worthy of the service given, then she would not leave nor let us leave until I gave her more money. She then takes it to another level and announced to the other waitresses that I "shorted her" 10 dollars. I wasn't giving a 30 dollar tip when it was not a 30 dollar worthy service. We didn't get our drinks when asked multiple times and sliver ware wasn't even given until she decided to give it. I get it that's the gimmick, but you have to have some pride in your work and appreciation for people, not to mention just plain manners at that point! Honestly, if you've been to Dick's it's your stereotypical atmosphere. We came on a night there was a concert the wait was 45 mins to an hour but we got sat early. Our macho nachos were good and our server Kyle was great plus he was very funny. I'd come back. The other reviews are very misleading especially for a fairly new establishment. Was very disappointing. ONLY "insult" type thing was the stupid hats with lame innuendos on them. Assumed people in the party were a couple when they weren't. Food was extremely basic and overpriced. I could tell we drew a lesser server, one of the other servers was much more in tune with the theme. Overall, our time at dicks was underwhelming. We joined the yelp waitlist 45 minutes before we arrived and still had a 30 minute wait at 5 pm on a weeknight. The staff was obviously understaffed, so most of what I'm going to say isn't really their fault. Our waitress was funny and nice, a bit too nice for the theming of the restaurant , but she had way too many tables it wasn't fair to her. My strawberry marg was good, but our drinks took a long time. The appetizers were better than the entrees, the BBQ Nachos were yummy and so were the fried pickles. Womens bathroom was dirty and almost every stall was out of tp. My steak was overcooked and flavorless, they kindly brought be another, but it still was just okay. My friend had a bacon cheeseburger and said it was "the most mid burger he ever had". My friend ordered the blackened chicken and that was also mid. Another friend ordered the chicken Alfredo and it had a strange flavor. Also, we did not receive our funny hats until the end of our meal when we reminded our waitress. My friends and I are normally not picky people, but this was by far the worst meal of our trip. We came for the experience not the food, but were let down by both. read more

No problem with the concept of the restaurant. My family had a great time going back and forth with the waitress with lots of sarcasm. I had heard nothing but good things about Dick's Last Resort, but the food was absolutely terrible. The American Mule cocktail was the best thing I got, after that it was all down hill. The Macho Nacho appetizer was more than enough for our table of 8 but it was average at best. We were not given utensils or plates with the appetizer, so we passed the entire nacho platter around the table for everyone to try it. The entrees were terrible. I got the New York strip steak medium rare with broccoli and fries. It was medium/well to well done and had a horrible burnt taste with little to no seasoning at all. For the price of the entrees, I can't recommend this restaurant. I would recommend going in for cocktails and an appetizer if you want to experience Dick's Last Resort. read more

All around disappointment. 2 hour wait on a Monday night. Food was mediocre. Pasta was cold. Chicken was dry and over cooked. 200+ dollars for family of five with only 2 beers and 2 cocktails. I would give this place a one but the bad attitude and my friends funny hats saved dinner. I won't be coming back again for the food or the experience. Good thing it's dark in there because you can't see how gross the food and the resting really is. I was sticking to the floor, the bathroom stall locks were mostly all broken and there was trash all over the floor. When it comes to food nothing had flavor, steak was rare but charred/crunchy on the outside (asked for it to be cooked medium), the veggie sides were all soggy, and so were the fries. IF YOU WANT THE EXPERIENCE I would suggest getting a drink and sharing an appetizer with a friend. I also suggest going somewhere else to get actual dinner/lunch. The food was mediocre, I had gotten the chicken fried steak with mashed Potatoes and French fries. The steak your paying for is two $4 pieces of chuck. I get this restaurant is meant for being mean to your customers but our waitress wasn't..
