Which says a lot about how much he cares about his customers. We had Atlas Trillo install a full heat pump system for our home, and the entire experience was top-notch from start to finish. Our comfort advisor, Richard Todd, made the whole process not only easy but genuinely enjoyable. He clearly explained all of our system options, walked us through what to expect on installation day, and answered every question we had. He is funny as heck too, joking with us throughout the visit and turned what's usually a stressful home project into something surprisingly fun. Richard is also one of those rare people who doesn't disappear after the sale. He showed up on installation day with a beautiful orchid plant, checked on every detail with the crew, and even came back later in the day with pizza for the installers. It really showed how much pride he takes in his work and how much he values both his team and his customers. Roberto and his crew were just as impressive! Efficient, professional, and left everything spotless when they finished. Overall, a wonderful experience. If you're considering a new heat pump or HVAC upgrade, I can't recommend Atlas Trillo enough -- and definitely ask for Richard Todd and Roberto's crew. You'll be in great hands!

When called helpline, they said unless you pay, nobody is going to show up. The Quality Assurance Manger never picked up the call, never returned the call or vm. So thanks for your suggestion before, but I suggest you can try calling and see if the number actually does anything ever for your valued customers. I would highly appreciate still if after reading this review, you really understand how frustrated we are with your company and honestly try to help us. Please leave a number that will actually pick up our call, listen and give us the service that we deserve after paying 15k + service fee every time even being under warranty . Like many small businesses lately, the county is requiring backflow valves to be installed and…read moretested. After calling down the approved list of vendors we settled on Bay Area Backflow. I assumed it would be a simple task to schedule the inspection, get the tags, and be on our way to no backflowing water in our system. The phone call went well until we started talking about scheduling. - They were not able to commit to a date on the phone. We scheduled a tentative date and time and had to wait for someone else to confirm with me. This makes it difficult to plan water shut down for your business. They need at least 15 minutes with your water off. If your valve does not pass you can add an unknown amount of time on. So naturally, I asked about weekends and the day that we are closed, Fridays. No can do the woman said. They don't work on Fridays or weekends. Splendid. - They require your credit card information up front, a week ahead. Again, this felt like a red flag but since I was running out of time to comply, I went ahead. I assume many businesses have stiffed them on the bills. Shocking.....but I suppose it does happen. - Someone was supposed to confirm our appointment the day before. Nothing. So I got up early to be at the office on good faith. - The two gentlemen that showed up to do the work were fantastic. They were on time, knew their trade, and were polite. Of course one of our brand new valves did not pass their test. So they told me it would be an additional $120 or so to clean out the valve. I had no choice. Either fail the verification or pay the ransom. So we paid. The three stars are for the two guys that showed up at 7:30am to verify my new valves and get it done with literally one minute to business open. The minus two stars are for the poor communication by the main office and the difficult scheduling. Probably won't use them again next year. But we'll see who is on the list.

Was routine, this year Bay Area Backflow failed our back flow unit. Before even informing us of an issue, they notified the water company who immediately gave us 15 days to replace the unit or have our household water disconnected. Bay Area Backflow gave me a $1200 quote to replace a $300 valve which is connected to two 1" pipes. Could have communicated much better; could have provided a reasonable quote for proposed work.

Around 11:20 AM this Monday on El Camino, I watched the driver cut across lanes right in the middle of an intersection without using a blinker. It was a pretty reckless move that nearly caused an accident. ​If you've got employees out in company-marked cars, they really need to be more careful. It's a bad look for the brand and, more importantly, a safety hazard for everyone else on the road. Hopefully, management can get this sorted out.

No problem, we clear out a wider area and leveled the grounded. The second time he came back, he showed up with a 4 ft long leveler to measure and again, claimed that there wasn't enough ground clearance edge to edge, and it was again an automatic fail. This was a clear case of changing the requirement, and on top of that, he was very rude and uncooperative, and even charged a $200 service fee. Overall, a very poor experience and we have nothing positive to show other than a hole in my wallet.

He apparently was not pleased with my response and has asked me to find someone else to inspect my backflow valve--which is his right. That is too bad as my experience over the last 7 years (with annual inspections and other issues) was pretty positive. However I did not find this latest experience very positive, hence the updated rating of 3 stars.

We ended up replacing nearly all of our faucets (bathroom + kitchen), replacing toilets, and fixing some leaks around the house. Soon after we had our disposal replaced. Later, he helped fix a neighbor's tub that wasn't fixed correctly and leaked into our home and caused water damage. I will certainly call Joel for any/all of my future plumbing needs (and hopefully not anytime too soon)!
