Joel installed whole house water filter/softner us, and also installed the under the sink reverse osmosis filter. He beat every single price quote in the bay and did excellent and professional work. He was friendly, knowledgeable and very accomodating of every question I had during the process. He even accepted impromptu requests I had to fix other plumbing issues in the home. He will be the first person I call anytime I have any plumbing issues in the future. And I highly recommend him.

Fixed our main water line and put and attached a drain to the dishwasher. Did a good job at a reasonable price. Very flexible.

Joel is a professional backflow expert. He repaired the equipment which other contractor said not fixable.

The technicians were fabulous and helpful. On time, and they explained everything to me as they went. The folks on the phone were great as well. I assumed it would be a simple task to schedule the inspection, get the tags, and be on our way to no backflowing water in our system. The phone call went well until we started talking about scheduling. - They were not able to commit to a date on the phone. We scheduled a tentative date and time and had to wait for someone else to confirm with me. This makes it difficult to plan water shut down for your business. They need at least 15 minutes with your water off. If your valve does not pass you can add an unknown amount of time on. So naturally, I asked about weekends and the day that we are closed, Fridays. No can do the woman said. They don't work on Fridays or weekends. Splendid. - They require your credit card information up front, a week ahead. Again, this felt like a red flag but since I was running out of time to comply, I went ahead. I assume many businesses have stiffed them on the bills. Shocking.....but I suppose it does happen. - Someone was supposed to confirm our appointment the day before. Nothing. So I got up early to be at the office on good faith. - The two gentlemen that showed up to do the work were fantastic. They were on time, knew their trade, and were polite. Of course one of our brand new valves did not pass their test. So they told me it would be an additional $120 or so to clean out the valve. I had no choice. Either fail the verification or pay the ransom. So we paid. The three stars are for the two guys that showed up at 7:30am to verify my new valves and get it done with literally one minute to business open. The minus two stars are for the poor communication by the main office and the difficult scheduling. Probably won't use them again next year. But we'll see who is on the list.

After getting a very high quote from a major plumbing chain, we decided to contact Water Heater…read moreMasters. We had an absolutely fantastic experience with Water Heater Masters. Alex sent our technician, Rojo, who helped install a new 40-gallon gas water heater in our indoor utility closet, and he was incredibly diligent, professional, and efficient from start to finish. Installing a tank in an inside closet can be tricky, but Rojo handled the entire job seamlessly in just 2 hours. He replaced everything with high-quality components, including: * New hot and cold water flex lines * A brand new water shut-off valve * A new gas flex line and sediment trap * Fully reworked earthquake straps (to meet California safety codes) * Properly updated T&P line and venting He also took care of the removal and disposal of our heavy 18 yr old tank, leaving the utility closet completely clean. If you want fair pricing, expert specialized service, and a technician who respects your time and home, call Water Heater Masters and ask for Rojo. Highly recommended!

We were replacing a gas water heater with a hybrid electric heat pump water heater. Generally, this…read moretype of heater costs twice as much (price and installation) as a traditional electric water heater, but costs a lot less to run (and therefore you recoup the additional cost in a few years from lower operating costs). I had a very easy experience getting an on-site quote. I received 3 quotes for this job. 2 quotes, including this one, came in around $7100. I went with a third one at around $6700 (which included an additional mixing valve) and am very happy with my decision. Overall price was not a big part of my decision, but brand of water heater was. After doing some research online, the most recommended brands are AO Smith and Rheem (GE). Both higher quotes were for Navien, which has only been making heat pump water heaters for 1 year, but I was told that it is the most reliable brand. I did not understand how this claim could be made, given how short the duration of evaluation for this product. Even the worst appliances usually work for at least a year. So I requested a quote for AO Smith or Rheem, which I did not get. I'm not sure why my brand request was not honored, but it made me question whether I should go with a company that either has communication issues or maybe some type of deal with Navien that I was not informed about. Many water heater installers are preferred installers of certain brands, which means they can get better pricing, etc. I did not want to be a guinea pig for Navien.
