Went here after Cedar Springs Preserve. OMG I am amazed how good the food tasted. I love the fact that it is dog friendly. Also that the menu had a MINI breakfast. They actually thought about portions. Not many places would do this. It was perfect for me. I had the mini#2 with french toast. The quality of the food is amazing. It is really good. My friend ordered the chicken and waffle. It was the BEST chicken and waffle I ever tasted. I am so impressed. It looks like we missed the crowd which was around 9:30-10AM. :) I saw that they also have punch cards. They don't expect you to tip so you dont even have to fill out that section or sign. My girls had a basketball game nearby. Found this place bc another would seat our group of 20. The basketball team ate outside and the adults inside. Had to order and then sit down. There was a wait, but surprisingly it went fairly quickly. Once Inside we ordered our food and the staff was very nice and worked quickly. The menu had a lot to choose from and all of which looked good. I got the chicken and waffles and an egg plate plus French toast. My babies loved the French toast and ate half my waffle too. This was a great place for brunch. It's a little unorthodox because you have to wait in line to order at the counter. They give you a number to bring to your table and they will bring your food to you. The service was quick and friendly. The table is family style so don't be surprise that you will be sitting next to strangers. The food was delicious. I ordered the chicken and dumplings soup and it was delicious. The dumplings was homemade and it was rich and creamy. Perfect on a cold afternoon. I also ordered the banana bread French toast. The bread was sweet, warm, and rich. I didn't need syrup. Visited this spot one week ago, January 28, 2022. This is a very quaint "mom & pop" type of spot. The menu was very intriguing, I was drawn to the mess. I decided to go for it and selected the one with spinach & mushrooms and order a pancake for my side. OMG !!!!!!!!! Delicious! I found this place on yelp in late February. & I've been going twice a week ever since (it's almost May lol). This is my go-to breakfast place. Everything is cooked to perfection. My favorite is the French toast! It's so fluffy. Whenever I have family come to town, I make sure we squeeze in a trip to Dick's. The line can get very lengthy. So I advise you to study the menu while you're waiting in line. That way when you're at the register you can order quickly & keep the line moving. So I absolutely love this place! It's so cute. The food is phenomenal. So upon arriving you'll definitely have to wait in line. To order your food. So yes it has that fast food feeling, but after you order, you're able to pick your own seat. Now one thing I can say is, on busy days (which is always) it's harder to pick a table especially if you have more than 4 people. However for me, I like the fact that the tables are basically pushed together, with some tables surrounding the center for shorter parties. Every staff member is so helpful and super sweet. It definitely gives you that old diner feel. And even though they are always busy, they ALWAYS have staff cleaning and making tables available. The food is so amazing. And my favorite is the Meg's banana nut bread French toast. I literally saved one for later and it was great 2 days later. I say you all must try this place soon. read more

My friends love to go here, they say the coffee is amazing, so are the pancakes and the butter. The service is great and fast. The restaurant is always packed, but I can see why, because of the great food and service. Basically you wait in line and order your food, but you have to make sure your whole party is there so they can sit you. I've never had any problems waiting long to sit.
