I recently purchase a home in Snohomish and had a lot of electrical work needing to be completed. Over a six month span, I've had Dickson Electric troubleshoot broken switches, add heated flooring, move and add recessed lighting, coordinate with PUD and replace our panel, add outlets all across the home, and convert the wattage of a few outlets. In every situation, the entire staff from beginning to end has been excellent. Based on my experience, here is what to expect when you reach out to Dickson (all names mentioned are just a few excellent folks worth shouting out about that have helped me)... Kaylee will assist you on coordinating a time for George to come by to provide you with a free estimate. Within a few days, he will follow up with you on a detailed estimate. Unlike other electricians out there, this won't be someone with an iPad in their hand quoting from some franchised app that is 3x what it should be. In every situation, the prices given were FAIR considering the excellent service they offer. Once approved, Kaylee will coordinate a time for one of their professional, experienced and down to earth electricians like Kyle and Aaron to come out (sorry to the few other names that have escaped me). They will arrive on time (shocker, I know) and complete the job exactly as you'd expect. If any issues arise, which inevitably can happen, they are very clever in their solutions. Dickson Electric was not the first company I called, most don't answer the phone. But they WERE the first company to get back to me. Liz was delightful to work with and very communicative. George was the electrician that came out to our house, exactly on time, and repaired our burnt out outlet and restored electricity (and sanity) to our home. With high recommendations from two family members who had used them, we reached out to Dickson Electric for a quote. Our project was a master suite addition and bathroom remodel. We had Vadim and Phillip as our technicians who did an awesome job. They were organized and efficient and communicated well with us during the 6 day project. It was great having them in our home. Connecting all the new addition construction to the existing house was not an easy task. When the LNI inspectors came, they both commented on their fine workmanship. Gabrielle and Cody were my Dickson repair techs. Both very professional and did a great job on the repair of my electric meter knocked down by a tree in a recent wind storm. When they discovered the damage was more severe than first anticipated and required replacement of the meter box, Gabrielle went to quickly go get a new one within an hour while Cody disassembled the damaged box in prep for the new installation. They packed a lot of work into a half day and saved my bacon with a quick replacement and reconnect. We retired and moved from NY to Seattle a year ago. A few months ago we moved into a house that had many electrical issues. Tom and his assistant Elton spent several hours helping us get our travertine and tile floor electric heating system started, installing new outdoor motion detection lighting, and optimizing the automatic timers for our outdoor lighting. I recently had Dickson add electrical outlets, hard-wired smoke detectors, and ethernet cabling in my house. I've interacted with three people: Liz, Kurt, and Devin. All three of them have been fantastic. Kurt did the bid and graciously helped me think out some of the things I'd wanted. Liz did all the email back-and-forth. Devin (and his apprentices, Richard and Justin) did the on-site work. Devin rocks (god, I hope I'm spelling his name right). That's just a good dude, right there. Everyone was professional, but Devin was a great person to have in the house. He was more than happy to explain things along the way and made sure to touch base with me anytime things weren't lining up exactly as I had requested, showing me what was going on and how he was going to mitigate it. My three year-old came home from daycare after Devin finished on the last day and asked, "Daaaad! Where's Devin? I want to see him!", then proceeded to get upset when I told her that he'd finished the work and gone home. She told me that she liked him and wanted to see him again. I agreed with her. Very happy customer here. Kurt fixed a wide variety of electrical issues at my cabin in Baring, Wa. He addressed everything from rewiring/replacing fixtures/heaters/ceiling fan to adding new outlets. Most importantly, he figured out a way for me to be able to control my baseboard heaters remotely. This took a bit of experimenting, but he came up with a clever solution that worked perfectly. Dickson Electric was incredible to work with. Their work was beautifully done and no mess was left. We had them install a second High Power Wall Connector for our electric vehicles. They installed it in a pair on the same circuit as our first connector, and they're working perfectly to auto-balance power. Not only was the job done well, but they were very reasonably priced.
