Customer service is -10. I called up to order a pizza, I was put on hold for about 5 minutes. Finally ordered and was told that it would take 3 hours. Figuring they were crazy busy I tried again a week later on a Monday hoping for something better. I immediately ordered so we're better than before, but when I went to pick up, the rude hostess screamed at me and told me I need to wait my turn when all I asked was how much longer is it going to be because instead of 15 minutes like they said it was up 45 minutes. Albeit this was a few months ago and me finally getting yelp to review a decent restaurant, I felt people need to know this place is the absolute worst if you're hungry. Don't waste your time. We ordered pizza from them twice. never again. It is a greasy pile of cheese. We couldn't even pick up the pizza without all of the cheese sliding right off of it. Sandwiches were nothing to really even talk about. I would avoid this place, there is much better pizza in washington. Been eating here since I was 3 years old (Now 31) back when it was in a different location (by Shelby's and Acme on 57) and was called "The Pizza & Spaghetti House". Same people ran the place then as do today. We had Pizza Fridays every week growing up and getting a large plain pie from Dicola's was the meal highlight of my childhood and up was still a highlight until I moved out of town. I spent 13 years looking for better pizza in and around Philly (where I live now) and haven't found anything even close to Dicola's. The only other comparable pizza is in NYC. I remember I was on a cross country rode trip with my friends in 1999 and we were really hungry one night before bed and we sat awake for over 2 hours talking about all the details, smells, tastes, and feelings of a slice of Dicola's pizza (I'm not joking). The pizza has the perfect ratio of sauce to cheese, the correct overall amount of sauce and cheese, cooked perfectly, no need for spices or herbs. Do yourself a favor and stop in and grab a slice. I prefer a plain slice, I feel it's really what pizza is. Toppings may be tasty, but it's not what a slice of pizza is all about. It's simply dough/cheese/sauce and Dicola's is the best place to have that. read more

Great place for take out. We've been ordering from here for years. Their Cheesesteaks, Chicken Parm Subs and Pizza is really good! Small little place, has a few booths available to eat at but mainly a take out joint and they do a lot of deliveries. read more

We just moved back to Washington after 10 years in PA. Dicolas is every bit as good as we remembered! Everything is good but the burgers can't be beat! Made on sub rolls which are fantastic every time. They have always gotten our special orders and requests spot on. Yes delivery is usually an hour, but we plan for that and they are on time and food has always been perfectly hot. Delivery drivers have always been beyond pleasant and always apologetic for the wait, which is not necessary when you know it will be a bit long and they arrive when they say they will. read more

Terrible customer service. I placed an order for delivery and it took over 2 hours and I live less then 3 miles away. I called after an hour and a half and was told they are on their way. Once my order did arrive it was cold. Every time I place an order for the same thing the price is not consistent. I do admit they have good food but it doesn't make up for the customer service. Their pizza is 3.5 stars, although their Sicilian is very good. Their dishes are where they shine, as those are very good as well as their employees. Family friendly atmosphere, highly recommend their meatball parm and eggplant parm. Also be sure to check out their tomato pie. read more

Food is amazing but unfortunately they know it and treat the guest like they are doing them a favor. Have had several issues one being food made incorrectly and got attitude when we called, second called at 9:20 for food when the site says they close a 10 and they refused to serve us and now finally ordered food at 9 and it showed up at 10 when i said i was getting worried if they would show to the driver he not only blew it off saying "well people order last minute all the time" but when i handed him $40 for a $33 bill just said good night and walked away. Now I am a good tipper but $7 for food that took and hour and an attitude no. Yes the food is amazing but treating the customers like we are a bother is not acceptable. read more

This is one of the best pizza places in Warren County! I live in Hackettstown but used to have their food a lot when I was in elementary school. It has been a very long time since I had their food. My wife picked up a pizza and pasta on her way home recently. It was just as great as I always remembered it. I always get a side of sauce to dip my crust in, because their sauce is so good. My wife really enjoyed the pasta as well. I have heard the cheesesteaks are amazing, but I love their pizza too much to try one. I notice some complaints about the service. This isn't a high class Italian restaurant in the city. Get over it and enjoy the food! read more

Having grown up in New jersey, I know good pizza when I eat it, and Dicola's ranks among the best I've ever had. Dicola's menu is not limited to pizza. In fact, the menu is huge with salads, stromboli, pastas, sandwiches and more. The place itself is small with seating for maybe 30 - 35 people, but they offer carry-out and delivery. The popularity of Dicola's among the locals is a good indication of the quality of the food. This just might be my first stop on my next visit to NJ. read more

The food may be decent, although it is incredibly salty, but the service *SUCKS*!! I have never been put on hold nine times in a row before I could get a full sentence out. No chance to communicate a question before you hear "Hold!" It takes longer to put in your order than it does to eat your food... that is, if your food comes correctly. They have some girl taking orders for the last month or so that does not seem to be able to bet anything right, no matter how many times you repeat it. I have been coming here for years, the only thing that I was recently disappointed in was there calculation of the price wasn't the same and when we did it together checked over prices it kept getting cheaper but still didn't add up what I got again with the food prices checked the same. Also as long as we have been eating and getting delivery, I never knew that they do $1 for delivery. Be aware of this as we went on the site and it said free delivery and it is not! been going here for many years (has it been 20?) sauce not too sweet like some places, ample toppings, good crust - rises a bit, never received an undercooked pie. i think we do have a number of places in the area that make very good pie, but dicola's is our family's choice read more
