Wanted to update to add some photos and say i've been back twice since and it was excellent both times.

Good Pizza! Good Cheesesteak! We saw all the rave reviews on the cheesesteak and decided to give it a try. I wouldn't say it's the best I ever had, but it definitely hits the spot when you are craving one! The specialty pizzas are pretty good too. We usually get the White Pizza and it's excellent. I like that the pizzas are not very greasy like some other pizza joints.

Not the best pizza, but it is for around here. Plus their gluten-free pizza is pretty good.

There were about…read moreten tables inside, and they also seemed to handle a number of take-out orders while I was there. They served American comfort foods such as sandwiches and salads with a few Latin dishes too. They also had gelato and baked goods available. The service was friendly, and the food came out in a timely manner. I had the Chicken Caesar wrap ($16.95), which was a special on the day I attended. This also came with a side of pasta salad or fries, and I opted for the orzo-based pasta salad. It was very good especially the balsamic vinaigrette that dressed it. The wrap was nicely done, filled to capacity, and served warm. The homemade croutons and the slight crunch from the wrap really made it worthwhile. I also tried the flavors of fall sandwich, which was another special. It contained grilled chicken, caramelized onions, pumpkin and cranberry chutney, goat cheese, and toasted pecans on ciabatta. The ciabatta was the highlight here as well as the onions. The chutney was a tad too sweet for me. I also had the blueberry cobbler cupcake and a slice of brown sugar pecan pie cheesecake. Both were very flavorful. The crumb on the cupcake was good and I liked that the actual cupcake had blueberries rather than just the frosting. The cheesecake slice was my preferred choice. I liked the crunch from the pecans and overall, it was not too "cheesecaky", which sometimes puts me off. Will I go back? Definitely.

This visit was particularly good. I had the lasagne and Kathy had the wedge salad. Both were fantastic. So the food was great! The service was extraordinary. We were served by Kass. She is fabulous. Her sparkly personality and over the top professionalism made this a great experience. We also spoke with the manager (I wish I could remember her name) that has been with Smashed olive for only about two months. She is doing a great job and we can see the difference she makes. The decor and overall comfort of the dining and bar areas are above and beyond excellent. It was a cold day so the fireplace made it even more cozy. Try this place . . . you'll not be disappointed!!!

Rich wood cladded horseshoe shaped soffit on the ceiling bringing the focus back to that sitting area. They started off with a complementary olive tapenade with pita bread. The bar staff took our order for drinks and also provided water. My wife had a chicken Saltumbucco dish & I had a seared salmon fillet in a bed of steamed spinach and lemons wine reduction bed of rice. Afterwards, I had a cappuccino. My wife abstained. The food was great. Very flavorful. The cappuccino was one of the better ones I have had. Thick foam with a hint of cinnamon and a flavorful espresso and milk. Will be going back here when next in town.
