Pizza and wings are good. Haven't tried too much other foods. Staff is friendly. Prices are fair.

We ordered the Grandma pie and decided to try a side of broccoli rabe sauteed with olive oil and garlic.

They were very reasonable priced for a prefix menu of salad, garlic bread (amazing), meatballs, chicken parm, and penne vodka. We added on a tray of calamari and a half tray chicken fingers and French fries. They were BYOB, so we brought beer and wine and they also allowed us to bring our own cake. The catering was absolutely fantastic, the garlic bread is this special roll, almost like a garlic crescent roll and it's delicious. The calamari was perfectly fried, crispy, light, and excellent. The penne vodka was delicious, the sauce being the highlight because it was so flavorful and I had multiple guests comment how much they've enjoyed it. I've been asked to bring penne vodka when visiting friends on several occasions. The food overall was a big hit among my guests who have all made multiple comments in the subsequent months about how much they enjoyed it. The meatballs were light and flavorful, and cooked just right. The chicken parm was crispy with just the right amount of sauce and cheese. Overall the food was served fresh and hot, and we had very few leftovers afterwards. We were very pleased with our experience and would book another party here.

Really extensive menu with very reasonable prices for the quality and quantity of food. The spicy calamari is a must try and every entree and pasta are worth trying, too. For appetizers, we got zucchini chips, fried calamari and mussels. The calamari was fried too hard and it had a very salty, spicy Chilean type sauce over it. The zucchini chips were thinly sliced, lightly battered with Parmesan cheese sprinkled over them. They were decent but nothing to write home about. In fact, after having about six or seven of the zucchini chips I began to experience heartburn from the grease. For entrees, my husband had the chicken parm. He said it was too thick and should have been flattened more before frying. It was also very breaded. My brother-in-law ordered the chicken and waffles and he said the chicken tasted day old so after having a bite of one piece of the chicken he pushed the chicken aside and called it a day. I called the waiter over and informed him about the chicken tasting day old. He didn't try to change it out or take it off the bill or get a manager. He just apologized by saying I'm sorry. My crab Mac and Cheese was decent. It wasn't seasoned the way I would have liked but the huge, plentiful chunks of crab made up for that. I ate a third of my dish and packed the rest for home where I will doctor it up to my taste. I've never been to this particular restaurant before. The only reason we came today is because my brother-in-law was here on business and staying at a hotel in the area.

The Risotto Balls are a must-order. I've honestly never had anything like them before, and we finished every last bite. The gazpacho was so refreshing with a spicy, acidic kick. It didn't have much crab, but the flavor of the soup was amazing. The grilled polpo was cooked perfectly with a delicious char, but I do wish the portion was a little bigger. The Margherita pizza had the perfect thin crust with a beautiful wood-fired char on the bottom. The seafood pasta was one of our favorites and easily the best seafood pasta I've had. The creamy lemon sauce was incredible, the shrimp were beautifully grilled with just a little kick of spice, and the portion was huge. We also ordered the Agn Mozzarella, which was rich, flavorful, and another great pasta dish. The only thing we weren't crazy about was the chocolate mousse. It just wasn't sweet enough for our taste. The service was amazing. One of my friends has a shellfish allergy, and they were extremely careful to avoid any cross-contamination. Everyone was so friendly, the food came out quickly, and you could tell they genuinely cared. We went on a weekday without a reservation, and it was still pretty busy, so I'd definitely recommend making one. We'll definitely be back!

This Resteraunt is in a historic building and you can feel the history as you come in. Unfortunately that's where the good points end. Apart from our waitress who was very nice and cordial the rest of the staff had an arrogance about them and the bartender must not receive a lot of tips as she's cold and unresponsive. The food was mediocre at best the fig pizza was good, the baked artichoke smothered in breadcrumbs and over done. The pasta it self was good but the sauce lackluster and tasteless. The chicken melonazze was dry and rubbery. The chairs at the table were a mish mosh of wood and metal and the Caine chairs were ripping guess that's the colonial vibe.

Priscilla, the queen of the dining room, was engaging, energetic and informative with the menu and entrees. The rustic dining room plus multiple tables on outside patio allowed us to choose a seat. Calamari alla Sophia was breaded calamari, blistered grape tomatoes, sliced sausage on a bed of baby spinach enrobed in a lemon francais sauce. The broccoli rabe (rappini), tender and tasty with sliced sausage and roasted cloves of garlic throughout. One grandma pie, napolitano style was baked just right, cheesy and freshly made! The customer service is a time capsule of an era where a business strived to make your visit special and memorable with quality food and great service and not by some trend or gimmick. One thing that is not in the past is their skilled ability to provide a safe meal for those who are vegan, gluten free and or dairy free. I've never been to a restaurant that can turnout amazing authentic Italian food made with regular flour while also being able to provide a safe gluten free and or dairy free alternative of the same caliber. They have an efficient system that makes it clear there are people with dietary restrictions at the table and they take it very seriously. With all those great things to say, the food is what is worth writing home about. A gluten free chicken Parmesan that no one would ever guess was gf! A delicious gf df chocolate lava cake to end the meal was such a treat and was delicious. The staff were so friendly and knowledgeable and attentive, they're a well oiled machine! The way they show pictures of "today's specials" on an iPad type device is a nice touch. The meatball app had good flavor as well as the ricotta that came with it. The fiancé had the pear purse which is always a very good. Also the Eggplant Pisa salad that came with my lunch paring was very very good and I would eat it again!!! The bad. The meatball app, although tasty, was only two small meatballs (basically the size of a soup spoon!!) for 15 bucks. So I don't care for the cost compared to the value you get for it. Also I am a snob for chicken parm and this chicken was overcooked and dry. The bread crumbs were soggy and would have been forgiven if the chicken itself wasn't so overcooked and dry!!!! My over all is this. Been to mamas many times before this review and I think they are worth your time (even more so during dinner time!). They do more things right than they ever do it wrong.
