Great service and good for a great price. The fish tacos were only $1.99 each, made fresh to order. The battered fish was fresh and crunchy, and the house made salsa they had was the cherry on top. Everything else is pretty expensive ($5 for shrimp tacos, $6 for fries, $5 for soda). I would only come back for their fish tacos.

Diego's Fish Tacos has been open for about 1 week now and we're happy to have them in our area! My husband checked them out last week and we came in together for dinner tonight. Staff was super friendly and food was prepared quickly. Everything was delicious and really hit the spot! The Tacos Presidente were well crafted, complex in flavor and so satisfying. I love the shrimp consommé includes a big shrimp inside! The pulpo taco was a little oily but I still really enjoyed it. High praises from my husband on his dishes. Good drink variety, including fountain drinks, bottled drinks and 4 aguas frescas. It's a spacious and clean restaurant with a very clean gender neutral bathroom too. I hope they do well and hope you'll check them out! Can't wait to try more things from their menu!

    Baja Fish Taco with crema.

Got a Baja Fish Taco (pico de gallo on the side) and a Carne Asada Burrito (hold the rice). Everything was delicious. The fish was crispy and not greasy. When I got home, I added the pico de gallo and used the red salsa - really good. The Carne Asada was flavorful. The burrito uses black beans, which actually works. The Baja Fish Taco included crema, a mild red salsa and a container of sauce which I believe was birria. The burrito included a creamy orange sauce and the same mild red salsa. They also included in my bag a container of something that looked like chili oil. Service was very friendly and helpful. No issues on parking.

    Fried fish tacos

Hi everyone! Me and my husband decided to check this place out for lunch today. Person who took our order was super friendly and helpful. (Next time i'll get her name.) We ended up getting 3 fish tacos and aguachiles. Food was amazing will definitely be back. I didn't take pictures of the aguachiles but the presentation was nice . Unfortunately we had to leave in a hurry due to an emergency but we told them we would be back. When we got back they kindly made my fish tacos fresh and packed up our meals to go. They could have just packed the tacos I had left on the table but the staff went above and beyond to make sure we still had fresh food. An experience we will never forgot and truly appreciate. Food was great customer service was great.

This review is about Tacos El Goloso, located at 1605 Pacific Coast Hwy, Harbor City, CA…read more My daughter is an EMT. While on duty, she stopped at this location and placed an order. Before her food was ready, she received an emergency call and had to leave immediately. That's the reality of being a first responder--when a call comes in, you leave immediately, no time to wait for your meal. Before leaving, she politely asked the cashier to cancel the order and refund her card. Instead of showing understanding or offering assistance, the cashier was dismissive and unhelpful. After completing the call, my daughter contacted the restaurant, apologized for the inconvenience, and again requested a refund. She was initially told that the receipt had been thrown away. Later, the receipt was apparently found, but she was then informed that if she wanted a refund--or even the food she had paid for--she would have to return to the location in person. The problem is that she lives more than an hour away and was only in the area because she was working. I called the following day in an attempt to resolve the issue. Unfortunately, I was met with the same attitude. The employee refused to provide her name, refused to provide a manager's name, and refused to provide any contact information for someone who could address the complaint. To be clear, this is not about the cost of a meal. Had the employee been courteous, professional, or even remotely helpful, we likely would have let the matter go. Emergencies happen. Schedules change. We understand that. What prompted this review was not the lost food or the refund itself--it was the employee's rude attitude, lack of professionalism, and complete unwillingness to help resolve a simple customer service issue. I will also acknowledge that by the end of my phone call, I became frustrated and was not as polite as I should have been. I regret that. However, that frustration came only after repeated attempts to handle the situation respectfully and being met with rudeness and resistance at every turn. A business can recover from a mistake. What it cannot afford is employees who treat customers with contempt and then refuse to provide any way to contact management when a legitimate concern is raised. Management should be aware that this employee's behavior reflects poorly on the entire business. If this is how customers are treated when they encounter an unexpected emergency, then potential customers deserve to know before choosing to spend their money here.

I've been here before, and the birria tacos were exactly what I needed for a late-night craving. Crispy on the outside with a good amount of filling and strong flavor - they really hit the spot. I ended up having four of them. The consomé on the side was really good too - rich and flavorful, almost something I could've just had on its own. The street tacos were solid. The carnitas had that tender, slightly crisp texture, and the al pastor added a bit more seasoning and contrast. Nothing overcomplicated, just straightforward and satisfying. Service was friendly, and the setup is quick and casual. In the South Bay where places tend to close early, it was nice that they were open until around 10pm. Overall, this is a no-frills taco spot where the focus is on the food. Easy choice when you're in the mood for tacos.

Today we got consomme, chips, and cucumber agua fresca. But the drink tasted a little on the stale side as if it's been there for days and not replenished daily. Not sure what happened. Usually it's on point but somebody dropped the ball. So taste the agua fresca before you walk away to make sure it's freshly made (fyi). Otherwise, food is great and consistent. Service: sometimes it's good sometimes not just depends on the day I guess. Ambiance: busy, always busy so maybe call or order online if you don't want to wait.

They also have pollo, cabeza, suadero, carnitas, chorizo, and buche. On top of this, they have more than tacos too. I'm not sure if their location ever changes, but it hasn't changed over the past few years that I have noticed them. It's not on their yelp listing but they can be found at the Grocery Outlet Bargain Market on PCH. Closest address is 2134 Pacific Coast Hwy Their tacos are as authentic as it gets! You can also help yourself to their grilled onions. They have a variety of salsas to choose and the typical garnishes. They also have a limited selection of agua fresca too. I'm a frequent customer therefore would highly recommend any time you had late night cravings for delicious street tacos!

I figured it would be less disruptive to the staff if I placed the order using the website instead of calling it in. I When I checked out the tax amount was too large and discovered there was a 5% service fee for using the website hidden in a tax and fee item. The fee is not identified on the website and is hidden on the checkout screen. I found the fee by clicking the information icon for the tax and fee line. When I picked up my food I asked about the fee, but they were not aware of a service fee, and noted the website is operated by a third party. I sent messages to both the website contact and the restaurant's customer service and have not received any response from either. As I mentioned the food is good and we intend to keep on ordering food from there. Though, DO NOT USE THE WEBSITE TO PLACE AN ORDER, THERE IS NO SERVICE FEE FOR CALLING IN YOUR ORDER.

The young lady taking my order was very patient as I wanted to make 2 separate orders. She greeted me with a smile as well and was very good with her customer service after I put my order In there was a dinner rush and she got that line down quick. We ordered some of their tacos and they were very good I loved that the corn tortilla was sturdy cause the tacos are well served. We got a Rocking Shrimp, steak & fish taco they were all delicious and again big portion. We also tried their Fish and Chips and they were HUGE and came with fries and they were well seasoned and just the perfect crunch and had it with a side of coleslaw as well. Their Salmon Bowl & Rocking Shrimp bowls were very big portions that can be shared for future reference. We were happy with all our choices and can't wait to try more of their stuff. Happy customer for sure. The sitting area is neat, you have a great amount of seating inside but also outside Al fresco. When I was here to pick up my food it was a full house so their food is good. They have a salsa station along with other condiments that's very clean and organized. Overall great place and so happy it's close to home and they have a variety of food and selections for all to enjoy.
