Not only is the food affordable and tasty... they give you a lot of. See the pics for yourself. The back staff are all friendly and attentive. This is the go to place for seafood like ceviche, cocteles, chalupas, dorados. I have been to many places around the South Bay... and I swear... this is the place to put on your bucket list. I will only leave one photo...because I forget to take pictures when the food is that good.

What an amazing find! Went to a local church and was looking for some good Mexican food. WOW!!! This place has been in business for 30+ years and I now know why! Best mariscos tacos I've had: fish, squid and octopus! Small hole in the wall, but the owner and food was the bomb!

Try the aguachiles. You can Thank me later ! Take them home and add imitation crab meat to make it even better.

Amazing spot for all types of mariscos! We always get the marinero burrito, fish tacos, and the mojarra frita (pictured). The mojarra frita is packed with flavor and is something I always get. All of their mariscos are fresh, especially their ceviche.

I was in the mood for seafood. This place has a huge variety of seafood ceviches and assortments. I got the shrimp fajitas plate to go. It was a whole plate full with plenty of shrimp tortillas, sauces and veggies. The hot salsa was really good and spicy. I'll be back when it gets warmer to try their cold cocktails

A small, hole-in-the-wall Mexican restaurant specializing in Mariscos. I tried the seafood burrito--it's generously sized and packed with a mix of seafood. With a squeeze of lime, lemon, and some hot sauce, it's quite tasty! I also ordered the octopus ceviche. While the texture leans toward tough and chewy, the flavors are decent overall.

    Cindy D.

The octopus ceviche was on the tough/chewy side. Similarly, the seafood burrito consisted of fish, shrimp and octopus and again, the octopus was on the tough/chewy side. Taste wise, both were decent but the seafood could have been fresher.

Mariscos Rosarito has been one of our favorite seafood in the harbor Area, Always fresh and delicious

I thought burritos had to be hot but the seafood burrito was great cold, huge and not filled with beans and rice. Could this be the healthiest burrito ever? Tilapia torta was excellent as well even though the filets displayed looked sus.

Ceviche with squid (left) and el pulpo (right).

This restaurant is hidden in a very small corner mall. I go there for the ceviche El Pulpo. Worth a try and it's relatively inexpensive.

Asada and Shrimp burrito, so large and there's shrimp in every bite.

Fresh and inexpensive ceviche. Also tried the asada and shrimp burrito, it was all meat and very large and tasty,l!!! The owners are so nice and feels good to support their family business.

The restaurant itself is filled with lots of nautical themed momentos of the past. The Chowder Bar is renowned for their Boston-style clam chowder and it did not disappoint. Their clam chowder was one of the best that I've had outside of Boston. The chowder was rich with the right thick consistency and was chocked full of clams. A bowl would have satisfied me, but ordering only a cup, I also had their Fish Sandwich with deep fried cod. The cod was juicy and well breaded and seasoned. Their cole slaw was also very good. Service was adequate. Prices were reasonable. Parking is free and easy right out front of the gangway to the water and restaurant. Just don't miss the small sign and turnoff on Henry Ford Avenue close to and below the St. Vincent Thomas Bridge. Overall, the Chowder Barge is a great place to kick back and relax by the water with a beer and a hearty bowl of clam chowder.

For a place near the docks I expected a little more seafood offerings. Will definitely be back since it's closer than going to Manhattan Beach or DT LA.

The seafood tasted fresh, and the sauce was very flavorful! The Thai tea was also creamy and refreshing, perfect for fighting the heat of the seafood. Its a Asian fusion location with an option of a seafood boil bag, but i come to expect a bit more out of the sauce option. Then the sausages.... theyre store bought hilshire farms sausages... and to charge $1 A SLICE IS DIABOLICAL! The clams were chewy, the shrimp was mushy... im forever now gonna take that 30 minte drive to anywhere for seafood boil.
