The atmosphere of this place is amazing! I've been here twice in the past week and I'll keep going! The live music was perfect and the wait staff is on top of everything! I can't remember the names of the drinks I had but they were all so good and strong! I went on a Friday night when it was pretty packed and I was still sat in timely manner! Unbelievable. Bought a table on a busy Saturday night .. spent well over 2k . The guy at the back exit thinks he's Elon musk and doesn't mark your hand or give you a band and just tells you he will remember you . I left for two seconds to grab a friend and he wouldn't let me back in . Told me I never was there and if I was it had been at least 45 minutes so I had to go back in line. FYI the line is insane . Up to a hundred people in it. Doesn't matter the money you spend they leave the whole establishment in the charge of a bunch of children . Highly recommend making the trip out to old town Scottsdale if your wanting to drop some serious cash . read more

I had gone with my family to enjoy a great time while visiting Arizona and we were there for 3 hours and then once the country music started we enjoyed the ambiance and the atmosphere changed and this the hip-hop/rap music started we started to enjoy the music as well and out of no where my father was kicked out due to supposed alcohol intoxication while everyone else was drunk in this establishment and thus the security guard then had flipped my family off while they said they need us to leave. My father was dancing by himself and minding his business's where security approached my dad and family to leave for no reason. I was visiting out of town to visit family where they spoke highly of this establishment but now since that experience i will never return and also recommend people not to come due to the unprofessionalism exhibited by unqualified staff. **Updated Review** - Basing my review on multiple visits. My original review I started stating, "So beautiful on the outside but not much yet in between. This place looks like the best party when you drive by on Gilbert Road." Originally when I visited it was the first week and it was very disorganized. Although the server tried her best and they understaffed on the opening weekend, I have still definitely come here to give Dierk's Whiskey Row (DBWR) multiple tries. My previous visits, the brunch was okay; however, the bottomless mimosas are deadly! So depending on what your priorities are, it may be just right or not enough. My most recent visit was on a Friday evening with a group of six. Downtown Gilbert is crazy busy, so be expected to wait anywhere. While we waited we got a couple drinks from the bar and enjoyed the extra loud music and shouting conversations. The vibe is fun, still feels like a party and the drink I had wasn't too bad. When we got seated, we were seated on the dance floor and we ordered a few appetizers and our entrees. The fried pickles and fries were okay, but I would say that the artichoke dip was the table favorite and I would definitely order again. For our entree, my husband and I shared the patty melt, which is freshly baked marble rye, melted swiss cheese, caramelized onion & thousand island. It was good, I'd say a 7/10, not disappointing but I wouldn't order it again. It was around 9 o'clock we were warned by security to finish our food because we would have to clear out so they could allow a dance floor. Although this is fine, I wish they would have set our expectations or at least given us the option to sit somewhere else, because we were definitely forced to clear out within the next ten minutes. Because we cleared out, we drank less, ate less and spent less time at DBWR. Had we not been forced to move, we probably would have enjoyed ourselves longer, spent more money and had a better overall experience. read more

We were in Chandler for the day and wanted something different for lunch today and ended up here. It being a Wednesday around noon the place wasn't busy so we got seated quickly and ordered iced tea for drinks. I got the whiskey burger and Bobbie got the fish & chips. I ordered mine with onion rings and hers was with garlic fries. My burger was cooked perfectly, medium. It had a slight pink in the middle. Served with bacon and jalapeños and BBQ sauce on a soft brioche bun. It had a great flavor combo. The rings seemed like commercial rings, nice flavor but just average. Bobbies fish was nice lightly battered cod with a great flavor. Not to over done with the batter and her garlic fries were a highlight of the meal. Overall it was a good lunch and next time we are up here we'll have to keep it in mind for food. read more

My name is Alex Adler and I went to whiskey row for some drinking and dancing with a few friends on the night of the Ohio State vs Clemson game! My first impression was that the place wasn't half bad. Don't be fooled!!! They over charge for EVERYTHING and I am under the assumption that they train their staff to short change people who are inebriated. I'll explain. So after a long night of dancing and drinking I went to close my tab. Which was 96.00 and some change. I had 2 / 100.00 dollar bills in my wallet. I planned to pay cash. I handed both bills directly from my wallet to the bartender( the bar by the bathroom) just so everyone can realize I'm not missing much. I asked for change, to tip out the bartender turned and broke down the bills to ones, fives and twenty's. So 200.00 becomes change I give 20.00 for tip, and say to the bartender I'll make it easy for you and hand her a twenty. Then I directly place the money she gave me in my wallet and leave stopping nowhere The next morning I wake up. Now I happen to count the money in my wallet. I have 2/20.00 dollar bills 2/5.00's and 13.00 in one's and no coin change don't forget the 20.00 for the tip. So I'm twenty dollars short! Now I know it's a real long shot but I call and make the bar aware of the situation and after making the very nice hostess aware of my plight, she places me on hold to grab a manager. This is where things get really out of line. After making the manager (AGM Nate was all I was given as far as his name) aware of what had transpired the night prior, he precedes to tell me about how much money the bar made the night prior in a 4-Hour spance, they made $30,000! Then, proceeds to tell me that I must have lost the money, and tries to dismiss my concerns as if I don't know what I'm talking about, and or implies that I'm lying. I bring up the fact that all they would have to do is check the cash drawer from the night prior, and if the drawer is off by the amount of money in question then what I am saying is valid. If it is not off, then I am a liar. He proceeds to get an attitude with me and tells me he'll look into it and call me back without taking a name or number! I have yet to hear back! This is why I would NOT recommend going HERE EVER!!! Go to a more reputable place! Spend your cash elsewhere, go to a place that won't rob you and then dismiss your concerns as lies. As I entered I couldn't stop looking at the huge space and the complete entertainment set up they have. They had live country music playing by the dance floor, 2full bars, family dining area, game zones, ping pong table. This place is hell of a party place be it for big groups or small. Family or friends you are gonna surely enjoy this place. They have very good speciality cocktails and I chose raspberry spritz and it was delicious. I got to sip other cocktails like cucumber cup, everything tasted so good. I had buffalo cauliflower, hummus and artichoke dip for appetizer and I really enjoyed all of it. Everything was just perfect. Buffalo cauliflower turned out to be my favorite. I went with salmon Jambalaya for entree and wow that salmon was perfect. It was juicy on the inside and crispy outside. The vegetable rice was tangy and good. Finally the dessert that Banana bread pudding was another level. Although I always favor the yummy brownie, the bread pudding wasn't behind. Dierks was a great atmosphere for a group of friends and drinks. I went one-on-one for "brunch", so probably not the best date location on a Sunday afternoon if you wanted something more intimate/chill. It was loud with live music and there was corn-hole games, so im definitely going to go back for an evening night out. Service was great. The pretzel cheese tasted like American slice cheese, so melted- it congealed and wasn't good at all. But the chicken strips and fries were seasoned amazingly. So since visiting ive been back a few times. The manager (Kevin) reached out and offered to make things right for me and he honestly truly cares about the customer. He offered to talk to the waitress and get her some extra training and also said he would handle the kid situation. So I decided go give it another chance and I'm glad I did. We got a new waitress and she kept me busy with a beer and my hand, was quick to get my order, and checked up on me to make sure I was alright. I do kinda feel like the days and times you come in affect the service you get a bit. They have the Varsity Squad working Thursday - Saturday afternoons and nights and JV working days and weekdays. However, it was a good experience eacheck other time ive come back. Only 1 times fid I have a run in with a hostess that had a attitude, but I didn't let her 1 min interaction ruin my experience.
