So we decided to drop in here on Easter Sunday because it seemed like everything else was closed, our waitress Maddie was absolutely the best and recommended all the right chooses. The wings even though there was only one flavor, was absolutely amazing and the best I've had hands down, and the burger slider was absolutely awesome and I can't say enough about the fried pickles OH EM GEE!!!! It's really too bad about this place ! It could be a gold mine ! Great atmosphere , great bands , and corn hole ! What more can you ask for ?! Service ! The service at this place is probably the worst I've ever experienced . I have brought my out of town guest here about 4 times , hoping it'd get better . No such luck ! The servers walk around looking miserable and seem to forget what they're actually there to do ! I watched the manager goof off with them , which is the only time I actually saw them smile , instead of telling them to get their asses to work ! We finally just went up to the bar for our drinks and the bartenders treat you like you're bothering them ! Ha!! Never again ! Never got to eat there. Went in on a Saturday at 7:00pm. They were no longer taking reservations at 7 because the kitchen closed at 9:00, weird, and told us that it was open seating. We are from the Midwest , "open seating" to us meant, sit where's there's an open table. After letting us walk past them and sitting down at an empty table, someone came over and asked if we were seated by a hostess. Then SHE was the one who explained what "open seating " was in their land, it means, if there's a spot at the bar ...you can stand there. We had a party of 8 , and so we left. We enjoyed the BBQ place right down the road, a minute walk from Dierk's. It's a shame too, we were looking forward to hanging out there with friends and my husband's cousin. read more

Went a little before 2 on a Sunday afternoon with 5 in our party. It was moderately busy, but not packed. Was informed that there could be up to a 30 minute wait. Requested a table versus booth. After 50-55 minutes and 25-30 other people being seated, my wife pointed out to the hostess that there were several empty tables. They agreed to seat us at a 9 top. (There were other smaller tables unused). After waiting another 15 minutes at the table without anyone greeting us, taking a drink order, or even bringing water, we elected to leave and had a great time at one of the many other restaurants nearby. I come to Whiskey Row pretty frequently. I've been for lunch a few times, but I come more for the nightlife scene. I would not recommend coming here if you want good food and good service. It's always busy due to the live music and trendy atmosphere, so service is not great. It takes 15 minutes after the hostess seats you for the server to come take your drink order. One plus is that the food comes out quick. The food is pretty average, nothing special. I do like the fish and chips. I found a string in my chicken wrap the last time I was there for lunch. It looked like the string they use to tie the legs of a rotisserie chicken. I'll let you make your assumptions, as I've made mine. The server was very apologetic (of course, I knew it wasn't her fault) and she took it off my bill. As for the nightlife scene, this place is actually pretty great. I like this location a lot more than the one on Mill Ave. It's really the only place in Gilbert where you can drink and dance. I like that the crowd is a mix of young and older. Not all college kids like Mill. They have live music and then at 11pm they switch over to a DJ. The bartenders are pretty rude at times, but that's almost any bar you go to unfortunately. One thing I did hate about my last visit 2 weeks ago, was the DJ. He was HORRIBLE, and I hope they replace him soon. I'm not sure if he's new, or if he's the same guy they always have and he is changing his style, but I am not a fan. He would start out a good song, and then ruin it by remixing it to sound more like Dubstep rather than your typical house/dance music. You honestly couldn't even dance to the music, it was way too crazy and fast. I really hope that he is not there the next time I go! Also, I saw another reviewer's post from 23 days ago who mentioned the security's process of choosing which girls to allow on stage. My friends and I were here 2 weeks ago for my best friend's birthday and we asked if she could go on stage (she's a beautiful curvy girl, the blonde in my profile pic) and he said she could.... if we paid him $10!!!! We have been in multiple times always a good time and good food. Drinks are always great and service is always on point!

Not impressed. Service was so so. The bathrooms were dirty. No TP, hand soap or towels. The cracks in the tables were full of food that had never been cleaned out.& the tables were not sturdy. Service was off the charts with the most friendly hostesses and servers (Allie was one of the most outgoing/personable servers we've ever had anywhere!!) Fun atmosphere and great food! I was pretty impressed with this place. Started with a live band then switched over to a DJ. It's a country bar but they had a variety of music which was nice. It was pretty open and spacious even though it was crowded inside. Had to wait in line to get in but the line moved pretty quick. This is s great place to go for dancing, the dance floor was huge, full and everyone was having a great time! Need one of these near my house! read more

Visited my friends & family in AZ and they brought me to Whiskey Row their opening week. We loved it! The food is so good and the people there are really fun! We ended up going back twice after the first night! We shared sliders and wings and the raspberry corn cake, all of it was really good! Tried the Tequila Mockingbird and loved it! Can't wait to visit again and this time I'll bring my boots and dance!! read more

Sat next to the window where you can watch them cook and saw the cook dig his bare hand into my salad, pull a hair out and then bring it out to me. The waitress tried to bring it back to me after I sent it back and insisted that they had gloves on - I was watching the whole time. He wasn't wearing gloves. Disgusting won't come back. My Girlfriends & I went for the Grand Opening & free concert with Kelsea Ballerini Thurs night . They had given tickets out online , process of getting in line outside & getting in went smoothly. First impression of the bar/restaurant is "wow", love the decor & openness There are several bars avail for drinks & while we didn't try the food , service seemed gd. They just opened just shy of two weeks ago, but def drawing a huge crowd! The concert was a stripped down, hometown feel, really great eve . We will def be returning & bringing friends. read more

We've visited DB Gilbert multiple times - but our recent visit will keep us away now. The front desk & wait staff was very good. After dinner & drinks - we followed our friends to their parked car to retrieve a birthday gift. When we went to re-enter this establishment (south door); we were told we had to go to the front door & wait in line. We explained we just left - but the security guard insisted. It was hard to hear him because the band was playing- but we figured we could speak to the guards in front & explain. That was the wrong assumption ... instead we were greeted with "I saw you yelling at our security guard in the back" (not true) & "the only problem I see here is you two"????? Really? No offer to listen or problem solve at all - so we gave up. I would suggest the following: post a sign at the exit stating no re-entry without a stamp. Second - if a customer said they just left - ask to see their receipt. Simple & clear & non confrontational. There are many Gilbert or Chandler evening establishments that welcome our hard earned dollars - without treating us so very poorly. One star might be too high of a score read more

Horrible!! Over aggressive "security staff"! Zero stars if I could! On Saturday 12/28/19 my 42 year old son was visiting me from Colorado. We went here for drinks and food. We sat at the bar having a good time... suddenly we were confronted by security saying they are removing the bar stools in 10 min. My son proceeded to pay the check as we finished our drinks. WELL, it wasn't quick enough for the security team.. My son said I live in Colorado and never experienced anything like this my entire life. Just then one of the security person said, "well you're in a red state now pal". My son was then aggressively and bodily removed from the establishment by 8-10 security personnel, thrown on the ground outside and pinned him down on the sidewalk. My son was belly down on the cold ground, a knee in his back, his arm pulled way back to which I said "are you breaking his arm"??? his face to the side. 10 minutes goes by, waiting for police to arrive and my son said "I can't breath"! I yelled that he can't breath, and I'm a nurse you better turn him around and sit him up until the police come. Police arrive... and immediately let us go. Keep in mind, my son never even through a punch at these losers.... STAY AWAY! Next stop, City of Gilbert complaint as well as an attorney. read more

I wish I could select a half star. The service was subpar and the food even worse. I had the chicken with zuccini noodles. There was no type of sauce as advertised and the chicken and noodles were swimming in water. I couldn't tell you what seasoning was on the chicken. I sent my plate back with the server and was not offered so much as a discount on my food... nor an apology. My sister in law had the Turkey melt and it appeared to be drenched in thousand island dressing, you couldn't even identify what was on the sandwhich. I ordered 2 types of beer and both were sold out. Needless to say I will not be back which is to bad. The band was great, but not worth the $50 spent on 2 entrees and 2 beers. read more

I have always loved coming here and have never had a problem until we came to visit two weekends go. We had a group of 6 and we showed up early (around 6:30pm) to insure that we got a table. We wanted to sit around... have some drinks and catch up with some old friends. We had ordered drinks and food (and were continuing to order drinks) until one of the hostesses came and told us (around 8pm) we had to leave because at 10pm they were going to open the booths up for bottle service. We were never given the option to buy bottle service either. After inquiring about it with a manager he said that bottle service was $500 and that we could purchase the package if we wanted. All of the other "bottle service booths were empty." We suggested that "Would it be possible to move once you had a paying customer for this? I mean we have spent over $550 for our table so far and were still drinking and enjoying each others company. We are not being obnoxious... just hanging out and talking." He told us no... that we could no longer sit there and that if we wanted drinks we would have to go up to the bar and wait.... but we had to leave our table. It would have been nice to know this in advance. When we first go there we would have gladly waited for a table on the floor to insure that we weren't going to be kicked out within a couple of hours. We would have continued ordering food and appetizers but we were so frustrated that we just got up and left. Even after speaking with the manager... he didn't really even seem to care. Not only was the situation frustrating but even the service was pretty awful. Our waitress would come to our table and take a drink order from one person and leave before anyone else was able to put in their order. We all had our orders ready and this happened several times. It was just bizarre! Also- I ordered the chicken wrap but Instead of fries for my side... i asked if there was a fruit option. I was happy when our server said they had a fruit medley... so i ordered it When my food came back it was delivered with two paper thin apple slices. Luckily my wrap filled me up but... two paper thin apple slices doesnt seem like much of a fruit medley to me! We went across the street to OHSO and spent the rest of our night ordering drinks and appetizers. I don't think any of us will probably return to this establishment. Such a shame. Really could be an awesome place if the service was a bit better. I even went online and emailed customer service and still have never heard back read more

I usually have a nice time and even when busy bartenders usually attentive and on the ball. I was there on a not so busy Saturday afternoon. Bar area not full yet still crappy service. I felt very insignificant to bartender. Although I'm not looking for affirmation, I was looking for a beer. I'm generally a nice tipper but the only way to send a message is to leave small tip. Finally ordered chicken and waffles...DISGUSTING $14 for a half of one waffle with a chicken tender cut in half that were breaded horribly, fried so it left them dripping with grease and tasted fishy! Yes like tilapia. The waffles were burned in the edges and mushy not fully cooked on the inside. I didn't eat them. The jalapeños over took the entire flavors that were of just greasy fried food. HORRIBLE WORST EVER. BUT...the fried pickle app was very good. Stick with a burger. The guy next to me had one it looked fantastic. First time here. Awful experience. Server was bad. Only saw her twice. Bus boy served our food. We asked for extra sauces and the bus boy brought our items. I went to the bar to get my own refills. We wanted a shirt and hat and guess what, only 1 person could get these items and then we waited a long time. Food was good. Our server was only interested in her larger table and since there were only 3 of us, we didn't matter. Pretty close to leaving without buying any items. We'll probably never come back.
