I hired Victor and his crew to paint the outside of my house.  Things were going ok, so I asked Victor if he knew how I could get a line or thin crack out of my ceiling. He said he could get it out but the ceiling would need to be painted when he was done. He said something about it being tape from a previous job. Although I paid for the first job with a card, he specifically asked me for cash for the 2nd job, which I agreed to.  After the ceiling was done and he had my money, I noticed the line was still there.  When I questioned him about it, he said I needed another company to get that out.  He said it as if it was obvious and he knew he could not have gotten the line out. He offered no other information and did not offer any of my cash back. He also did not offer an apology. That ceiling did NOT need to be painted, I needed that LINE OUT. In addition, I noticed outside that they dropped dark brown paint in my driveway and in the back on my light beige patio, and LEFT it there.  No effort to clean it up. I tried to get it up, but ended up having to repaint the whole patio.  The thing that bothered me the most was that they had to remove screens that were very high up on the house to paint.  Victor assured me they would return to put the screens back up.  After not returning for a week, I called and spoke with Victor who said it would be done in a few days. Over the next month I left several voice, and text messages.  It has been 5 months, NOTHING FROM VICTOR. Those heavy duty screens help to lower utility bills and keep neighbors from seeing inside your house. If I walk outside my upstairs bedroom, my neighbor can look right at me if he is in his upstairs hall. That is on my mind on a daily basis. Victor appears to be kind, soft spoken, and will smile in your face, but I would not recommend him for anything. I wish I had gone with someone else, even if they cost more. The acceptable price Victor gave me was not worth it. Be FOREWARNED! read more

Victor left my dryer exhaust vent completely detached. I got carbon monoxide poisoning and was lucky to only end up in the hospital. I just bought a house and have a very detailed inspection report less then a week old at this empty residence. This includes detailed images across the house and every appliance being ran and tested. I used the dryer the day before he started taping and was fine. Victor also damaged my brand new Google Nest thermostat. I can't use the screen to register for the app. $250 loss. The cracks in the ceiling he was supposed to fix all showed back up in 3 days. The paint itself needs a lot of touch up in every room. He left a good amount of paint on my baseboards and new LVP floors. Victor said (referring to the dryer)"Its only slightly moved when we paint, I'm sorry this is the first time something like this has ever been brought to my attention". No accountability. No effort make this right. Cutting my losses and grateful I can move on. read more

I had 4 contractors visit and give me quotes to refinish the exterior of my home. Diesel was not the lowest bid but they where not the highest either. Victor was by far the most professional with his presentation and itemized quote. Victor personally started the job as promised and again personally finished the final touches and clean up. I just had Victor Garcia and his crew @ Diesel Painting paint the outside of our home. They did an outstanding job and had our place washed, prepped and painted in three days. They used quality Dunn Edwards Evershield paint and it did not cost that much more that what other painters were charging for the mid-grade paints like Sherwin Williams A100 paint. When they were done they cleaned up after themselves and took care of a few touch-ups. The amazing thing is our neighbors painted their house within a week of ours, same colors (trim is a bit darker) but with another brand / type of paint. Ours looks much better, the colors are richer and the overall job that we got from Diesel Painting looks better. Scheduled an appointment for 5 pm and they never showed up. Called at 5:15 and the man told me he would check and call me back in 5 minutes. Never got a call back. I called back at 5:30 and was told that they had made a scheduling error and would not be coming. I asked why I had not been informed and called back and all he said was it was a mistake. I received a couple different quotes and listened to different suggestions as types of paint to use, etc. I met with Victor from Diesel and was very impressed with the product he uses and the fact that he suggested to meet with a color consultant at Dunn Edwards that helped me immensely in dealing with a very picky HOA. This was a free service! We selected many "options" and Victor even came out to my house to paint small inconspicuous areas with sample paints so that we can see how the colors all worked together. I hired Diesel after getting a review from a neighboor. Before starting the job I asked to have the house back rolled and 2 coats. Victor the owner said that this was not necessary and the job would look good with their normal one coat spray. The job was well done in that they were careful to tape everything and it was very neat with no overspray. The coverage was not good though and I called victor back, he said he would take care of it ASAP. Its been 3 months and after multiple no-shows he has not shown up and my house is still not done to my satifactation. Not happy. read more

Not a great experience. Was told 2 painters would arrive early morning, after waiting for hours, called them, was told a painter would show up at noon, asked why they didn't call me, owner said he didn't have my phone number! I had give him a deposit before no even started! Painter finally showed up at 1:30 pm. After job was done owner came by and looked at work, attempted to fix one issue on my cabinet. As he left he said to call him if I found anything that needed fixing. I called a few days later, he said he would come by on a Tuesday, when he did not show up I called , got a voice mail to leave a message, he never called me back, never showed up and has not come by to fix a few minor issues with the job. I would not recommend this company, not very customer focused re arriving on time, keeping customer informed about workers and time for showing up....also didn't seem to care that I had a few items to correct, never heard from him! read more
