After having significant…read moredamage done to my vehicle at another shop when attempting to get an oil change done, Christian Brothers Automotive was caring and compassionate from the beginning. They were quick to assess the damage done and take pictures in order to document all that was wrong. When the owner of the other shop refused to take responsibility for the damages, Christian Brothers Automotive helped me to reach out to the owner and even offered for the other shop owner to view my car under their watchful eye! When that did not work and I was still deciding how to move forward, Christian Brothers Automotive offered to keep my car at their shop and every single night they locked the car inside their shop to ensure its safety. They continued to check in on my progress with no pressure to make any decisions and also continued to offer advice and assistance. This was above and beyond anything I expected. After my car sitting at Christian Brothers Automotive for 3 entire weeks, I finally made some progress with being able to figure out how to get the owner of the old shop to take some responsibility. While the matter is still being figured out, Christian Brothers Automotive fixed my car and even checked in a week later to ensure I was happy with the car and that it was running well. I have nothing but positive feedback for this amazing company and fantastic location! The location owner Paul clearly cares about maintaining an honest business in which individuals feel they are able to learn about what is going on with their cars and make informed decisions. And his service manager Joe is compassionate and provides assistance without even being asked. Finally, the mechanic Tony who fixed my car was informative and very efficient. Overall, the entire staff was a pleasure to work with and I felt very comfortable with their entire store! I hope more people use them for their car needs because I want them to stay in business a very very long time!

    JIFFY LUBE'S SYSTEM CAUSED THOUSANDS IN DAMAGE - AVOID AT ALL COSTS!…read more If I could give zero stars, I would. Jiffy Lube's flawed system lists an incorrect oil filter as "compatible" with my vehicle, and their refusal to take responsibility has cost me over $4,600 in repairs. THE PROBLEM: Their system wrongly lists an oil filter that is NOT compatible with the 2011 Ram 1500 5.7L Hemi, OF2222-MO10060. The correct filter is Mopar MO-899 or one similar in size and function. This incorrect filter was more than half the size of the OEM filter (see photos) and they used it in multiple oil changes, leading to severe oil pressure issues and catastrophic engine damage. The technicians followed their system, but the real failure lies with Jiffy Lube and their inaccurate parts database. HOW JIFFY LUBE HANDLED IT: Refused to acknowledge their mistake, even when I provided proof from a certified mechanic who confirmed the incorrect filter caused my engine issues (damaged lifters, camshaft, oil pressure switch, starter and 100% blocked oil screen from blown filter paper remnants requiring five oil flushes to clear). Ignored clear evidence proving the damage was caused by their system's error. Denied my claim completely, leaving me with thousands in repair bills due to THEIR negligence. DO NOT TRUST JIFFY LUBE! If they can't even get something as basic as an oil filter right, why would you trust them with your vehicle? Their refusal to take accountability proves that they don't care about their customers--only profits. SPREAD THE WORD! I'm warning everyone: GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. I'll be filing complaints with the Better Business Bureau, Attorney General, Federal Trade Commission, and consumer protection agencies until Jiffy Lube is held accountable for their reckless negligence. *UPDATE* I sent all of the requested information over according to the owner's response and just as I suspected, I was stonewalled and there was no resolution. Here's the problem: I tried to return them three separate times within the 90-day window, but every time I went in, they didn't have the tire in stock. I was told to come back later, and each time, they still didn't have it. Now I'm just six days past the 90-day period, and they're telling me the warranty no longer applies--despite the fact that it was Firestone's own inventory and scheduling issues that caused the delay in the first place. This is not just frustrating--it feels dishonest. I played by the rules. I made multiple good-faith attempts to resolve this within the warranty period. Now Firestone is hiding behind a technicality that they created. If this is how they stand by their "satisfaction guarantee," then it's clear that the warranty is more of a marketing tactic than a real promise. This is the kind of experience that makes customers lose trust. I'm asking Firestone to do the right thing and honor the warranty. If they don't, I'll make sure others know to think twice before relying on their guarantees.

The alignment came out perfect, he even fixed my slightly off center steering wheel. Another shop told me I would also need to calibrate the steering angle sensor and pay extra for it, but here they did not mention it and it was not needed. Everything turned out great. The price was very reasonable. Unlike other shops like Midas that told me to fix part of the problem myself, which is completely ridiculous, he handled everything so my car drives straight now. They did it very quickly too I called ahead and had everything done while I waited in just about an hour to an hour and a half. I will definitely come back again. Huge thanks to Joshua for showing where is the leak at!

They said it was the heat shield so I had them replace and was charged $900. The gentleman at the front desk said "All quiet now" and 2 days later the knocking started again. Made an appointment again and the first day they were short handed and had to wait the next day. When they finally took a look at my car now they said the coils were broken and that would be $980 plus dollars. You mean to tell me that you didn't see the coils broken when you replaced the heat shield that was pobably just fine. This is why you can't keep money in your community (Bolingbrook) because people like you are taking advantage of hard working people! Dissatisfied Customer

I drove to and asked the Bolingbrook Midas if they could do the repair. Danny provided an estimate but cautioned me that the parts and repair required my car stay with them for several days and they could not fit my car's repair into their schedule that day. Fine!! We scheduled the repair and my car was dropped off on the arranged day. The repair was completed two days earlier than expected ( Hooray!!), the cost was the same as the estimate, and without me asking, Danny inquired if I needed a ride to pick up my car. I told him it was only two miles and I could walk but Danny told me someone would pick me up and immediately send a driver to my home. Great service!!! Thank you, Danny and Midas!!
