I would have given it 5 stars but I bumped it down one for the following: overcrowding (I was under the impression since they require reservations it wouldn't be as crowded), the amount of playground equipment is limited and not enough attendees on the playground. New play place at Del Amo across from the theatre! It is a pretty big space with lots of activities for kids probably 7 and under. Huge jungle gym type structure with slides, cool little pulley systems, tunnels. Free building with big foam blocks, free building with wooden structures and wheels, you can sit in an electronic excavator, pick up balls and put them into a crate with another excavator, earth quake simulator with wooden blocks, racing lanes with buildable trucks as well as ride ons with pedals. We dropped in and it's pretty reasonable, you pay for a kid for 2 hours and adult is free. Would def consider a birthday party here. Fun to explore and reasonably priced if you're looking for an indoor activity for kids who are into anything with wheels! read more

Definitely bring your kid(s) here if you want to get sick. Took my toddler and left after 30-40 minutes because there were so many sick adults and children coughing and sneezing all over the place. People should be discouraged from visiting if they are sick. Now my family is sick, and we are planning a trip this week to pay it forward. read more

The concept of this play gym and the execution is well done. My rating is based on the experience and management there. When we arrived there were multiple parties going on and kids were racing around the entire play area. I personally watched as kids ran into other children that were playing nicely or even just standing. Two kids chasing each other plowed into me while I was standing watching my own children. There were 3 staff members on the floor and none of them told kids to stop running ...not one time ... even when it was extremely obvious that it was making other kids and parents uncomfortable. Signs said to not climb up slides and kids were running up them as other were trying to slide down, and throwing the styrofoam bricks off of the play center and hitting the people on the ground. All of this while the staff watched and it was obvious they would look away to not deal with enforcing the rules. There is so much potential but the staff and management need to take the safety of the guests more seriously. read more

My girls loved it!! They're 3 and 4yrs old. They were still a little too short for the tricycles which I thought would be the highlight for them. Each area has its own station for building/assembling toys. I loved how theme-y everything is. You can really see the attention to detail which I appreciate. My girls could spend hours there. Highly recommended. I'm considering an annual membership since I enjoyed watching their joy so much. Friendly environment and staff was great! We had our daughter's 5th birthday party. It was absolutely perfect. Sam, the party host, was top notch. The kids had an incredible time. Crystal, the manager, and Greg, the owner, went above and beyond after we were given mis-information by a former employee. You can tell they really care about the kids who visit Dig It. They were very flexible with customization (we brought in additional decorations non- construction theme and a face painter). The place is also very clean. We've been here twice for toddler time. I was a bit nervous because my daughter is autistic. But she did amazing and had fun. You're able to get in the apparatus with them. The very first time I did. (First time mom). But after letting her explore the whole thing, I was confident she can navigate herself. We went during a toddler field trip where it was busier. Again, she did very well. Came here this past Saturday with my toddler and 7 year old and there were THREE parties taking place simultaneously and the largest party took place in the middle of the entire play space. There were adults and children all over the place. We have been here several times before but on this occasion it felt like the place was busting at the seams. Overall this place is great. It's spacious, bright, good location, and has a pretty new feeling. The only feedback I would give is making it mandatory for people to wear their shoes in the bathroom. I saw many people walking from the play area into the bathrooms without their shoes on, and then back into the play area. This kind of grossed me out a bit and makes me a little more hesitant to come back. Also, maybe a sink or some sort of hand washing station within the play area would be nice. Workers should also not wear their shoes inside the play area. This would ensure the play area is very clean. read more

At 8:51pm on Thanksgiving, they sent an email saying they decided to open up Toddler Time for the NEXT DAY to all ages due to the increase in shopping for Black Friday. They made this decision 13 hours before we were to arrive. This is extremely disheartening and infuriating since we bought our tickets a month ago and our 3yo has been asking about it nearly every day. I can't tell him we have to cancel but it will also be extremely difficult for our children to enjoy themselves with bigger kids around. They didn't even offer a refund, just a reschedule. We are both working parents and h cannot take the day off to take them during Toddler Time. They have put me in an impossible situation as a parent. We went to this play area for the first time today and I agree with the other yelp reviewer who said that there did NOT seem to be any regulation here. The place was Overcrowded. There were 2 birthday parties (this was a Sunday morning) and there were kids running everywhere. Not just kids but grownups full on running after their kids... they recommend grip socks but the floor here is polished wood so I saw a few of the younger ones slip and fall despite grip socks. Had I known this would be the case I would not have come. I also agree with what one reviewer said about the foam stairs at one of the play structures. There were at least 9 kids crowding this area at one point and a few were sliding down the foam stairs. The parents had to break up the crowd with no management people in sight. We've been to a few other play areas in LA and OC and by far I have had the least satisfied experience here. We actually left with 30 minutes left on our time.... read more

Great place! Didn't know it existed but found it on here. Lots of fun for a little toddler. Plenty of stuff to do. Friendly staff. Organized chaos done well! Only knock would be maybe they put a timer on the big hydraulic diggers, or have someone there moving kids on. Some kids seem to not have been taught manners by their parents!
